Description

[0001] Manual external defibrillator bag

[0002] FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0003] The invention generally relates to bags for carrying medical devices.

[0004] In particular, the invention relates to a manual external defibrillator bag, which facilitates the use and transportation of manual external defibrillator devices used in the treatment of heart rhythm disorders in the human body by means of shock, and also ensures safer transportation.

[0005] STATE OF THE ART

[0006] Today, manual external defibrillator devices are used as medical devices in the treatment of heart rhythm disorders in the human body by shocking. The need for portable use of this device in an ambulance environment makes it necessary to add an additional bag product to the device body.

[0007] In the state of the art, there are bags in which the manual external defibrillator device is placed. Some of the problems seen in these bags are;

[0008] - There are pockets on the bag for disposing of the cables coming out of the device. However, said pockets are positioned perpendicular to the output sockets of the cables, not parallel. In this case, the socket cables that come out directly into the bag pass through the same area on the path until they reach the pockets, crossing and entangling with each other.

[0009] - There is no protector on the bottom of the bag so as to protect the manual external defibrillator device. The defibrillator devices with bag used in the ambulance environment are transported from one place to another, unlike the hospital environment. It has been observed that paramedics can quickly drop the defibrillator devices in their hands or cause the device to be dropped to the ground involuntarily, as a result of the rapid and hectic movements near the patient at the time of death. In such cases, the plastic wedges under the body of the device that support the standing position of the device on the table in normal time are not effective enough and are insufficient to absorb the impact. These wedges transmit an impact coming from the bottom directly into the device through the rigid mounting detail as they are mounted to the device with a rigid structure.

[0010] Existing defibrillator bags have handles for carrying and shoulder straps for diagonal hanging from the shoulder. Hand-held devices create difficulties as a result of fatigue due to the heavy weight of the device at long distances. Devices hanging on the shoulder can cause damage by hitting them left and right in narrow spaces such as climbing stairs.

[0011] In the state of the art, document numbered CN110200756A relates to portable defibrillation equipment comprising a body and a bag. A bag that allows the defibrillator placed therein to be carried by hand or by hanging it on the shoulder, is disclosed in this document. Said bag can be carried by hanging it on the shoulder with a strap. There are small pockets that can be attached on and removed from the outside of the bag, and defibrillator equipment can be placed in these pockets. The purpose of ensuring that the device can be used without causing confusion with the cables is not mentioned herein. There is a waist pad placed at the bottom of the bag, which is the subject of the invention, so as to ensure comfortable use when the bag is attached to the back however, it is not mentioned that this pad can absorb the impacts that may occur during the fall of the bag.

[0012] As a result, developments are made in bags used to carry defibrillators, therefore new configurations are required in order to eliminate abovementioned disadvantages and bring solution to current systems.

[0013] AIM OF THE INVENTION

[0014] The present invention relates to a defibrillator bag which fulfills the abovementioned requirements, eliminates all disadvantages and brings some additional advantages.

[0015] The main aim of the invention is to facilitate the use and transportation of manual external defibrillators used portable in the ambulance environment and at the same time to provide a safer transportation. An aim of the invention is to ensure that the cables coming out of the defibrillator device are placed in the pockets on the bag without being entangled.

[0016] Another aim of the invention is to protect the defibrillator device placed on the bag from impacts that may occur during use.

[0017] Another aim of the invention is to facilitate the transport activity by enabling the defibrillator device to be carried on the back or chest.

[0018] In order to realize all the advantages mentioned above and which will be understood from the detailed explanation below, the present invention is a defibrillator bag that carries the defibrillator device has cables and socket outlets where the cables come out, used in the treatment of heart rhythm disorders in the human body by shocking, characterized by comprising of the following; pockets configured in parallel with the socket outlets that enable the cables coming out of the defibrillator device to be carried without entangling,

[0019] - damping layer on which the defibrillator device is positioned, and which provides protection of the defibrillator device against impacts,

[0020] - two back straps on the defibrillator bag to enable the defibrillator device to be carried on the back.

[0021] The structural and characteristic features of the invention will be understood clearly by the following drawings and the detailed description made with reference to these drawings. Therefore, the evaluation shall be made by taking these figures and the detailed description into consideration.

[0022] BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

[0023] In order to understand the advantages of the present invention with its structure and additional elements, it shall be evaluated with the following defined figures.

[0024] Figure 1 is the general view of the inventive defibrillator bag.

[0025] Figure 2 is a view of the inventive defibrillator bag, showing the usage of the defibrillator. REFERENCE NUMBERS

[0033] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0034] In this detailed description, the preferred embodiments of the defibrillator bag (10) is described only for clarifying the subject matter in a manner such that no limiting effect is created.

[0035] The present invention is a defibrillator bag (10) that carries the defibrillator device (20) has cables (22) and socket outlets (21) where the cables (22) come out, used in the treatment of heart rhythm disorders in the human body by shocking, characterized by comprising of the following; pockets (11) configured in parallel with the socket outlets (21) that enable the cables (22) coming out of the defibrillator device (20) to be carried without entangling,

[0036] - damping layer (12) on which the defibrillator device (20) is positioned and which provides protection of the defibrillator device (20) against impacts,

[0037] - two back straps (13) on the defibrillator bag (10) to enable the defibrillator device (20) to be carried on the back.

[0038] In Figure 1 , there is a general view of the inventive defibrillator bag (10), and in Figure 2, there is a view of the defibrillator device (20) in a state where it is carried in the defibrillator bag (10). The defibrillator device (20) is positioned on the damping layer (12) on the defibrillator bag (10). In this way, the impacts coming from the lower part of the defibrillator device (20) during its use are damped by the damping layer (12) and transmission of the impact to the defibrillator device (20) is prevented. The cables (22) on the side of the defibrillator device (20) and coming out of the socket outlets (21) are placed directly into pockets (11) located in this part of the defibrillator bag (10) and formed parallel to the socket outlets (21). Therefore, it is ensured that the cables (22) coming out of the defibrillator device (20) are placed in the pockets (11) without tangling around the defibrillator bag (10). Two back straps (13) are attached so as to enable the defibrillator device (10) to be carried on the back. Therefore, it is ensured that the defibrillator device (20) can be carried for a long time without fatigue the person by hanging the same on the back or chest, and it prevents the defibrillator device (20) from hitting the surrounding obstacles. In addition, carrying the defibrillator device (20) on the back or chest enables other healthcare professionals following the carrying person to see and follow the device screen facing forward or backward more easily.
