Abstract
Description
[0001] Mounting arrangement
[0002] The invention relates to a mounting arrangement, in particular a ceiling system, as well as individual elements of this mounting arrangement.
[0003] Mounting arrangements for forming room boundaries, for example ceiling systems for forming suspended ceilings, are known and published in various designs.
[0004] For example, it is known to suspend a grid-like support frame from a ceiling, into whose frame sections individual panels are inserted. These ceiling systems are usually constructed in such a way that the panels are supported on the support frame from above, making the support frame visible from the outside, i.e., from below in the case of a ceiling. The disadvantages of these systems are that, on the one hand, the visibility of the frame is sometimes undesirable, and, on the other hand, the panels usually rest unsecured on the frame from above, which can cause them to slip out of position if an object impacts them from below. Alternatively, ceiling systems with concealed fasteners are known. Installation with these is often complicated and labor-intensive, especially when the panels need to be precisely aligned. Especially in larger rooms or corridors, even minor inaccuracies in the joints between the panels are disruptive.
[0005] With conventional systems, there is therefore a conflict of objectives between ease of assembly and accuracy of plate alignment.
[0006] The object of the invention is to overcome the disadvantages of the prior art and in particular to resolve this conflict of objectives.
[0007] The object of the invention is achieved by the features of the independent patent claims.
[0008] The invention relates to a mounting arrangement for forming a room boundary, in particular a ceiling system, comprising a supporting grid, a plurality of panels, and a plurality of connecting devices for the concealed, detachable connection of the panels to the supporting grid. The supporting grid preferably comprises a plurality of support rails.
[0009] It is preferably provided that the panels together define a surface and in particular form a ceiling when they are attached next to one another on the supporting grid.
[0010] It is preferably provided that the connecting devices are designed in such a way that the plates can be connected to and detached from the supporting grid by moving the plates.
[0011] Preferably, several fixing parts are provided which, in a fixed position of the mounting arrangement, restrict or fix the movement of the plates such that the plates are precisely aligned with one another along the surface and / or that the connecting device is secured against the plates becoming loose. Optionally, the fixing parts are arranged between the plates in the fixed position of the mounting arrangement.
[0012] Where appropriate, it is provided that joints are kept free between the panels and that the fixing parts act as a joint cross in the fixed position of the mounting arrangement and / or include a joint cross.
[0013] Where appropriate, it is provided that the fixing parts are attached to the support grid in the fixed position of the mounting arrangement, in particular that the fixing parts are attached exclusively to the support grid in the fixed position of the mounting arrangement.
[0014] Where appropriate, the connecting devices are designed as hook connections on which the panels hang when they are attached to the supporting grid.
[0015] Where appropriate, the connecting devices are designed in such a way that they can be released by moving the plates against the force of gravity and then transversely to the direction of gravity.
[0016] Where appropriate, the fixing parts are designed to prevent movement of the plates transversely to the direction of gravity or along the surface defined by the plates in the fixed position of the mounting arrangement.
[0017] If necessary, it is provided that the fixing parts can be mounted without tools and in particular have a plug-in connection part of a plug-in connection, the plug-in direction of which runs transversely to the surface defined by the plates for mounting.
[0018] Optionally, it is provided that a plurality of securing elements are provided, wherein, in a secured position of the mounting arrangement, the securing elements prevent movement of the panels against gravity and / or transversely to the surface defined by the panels. Optionally, it is provided that the securing elements each have at least one securing extension, which, in a first orientation, is inserted through the space between the panels, in particular through a joint, and, by pivoting into a second orientation, projects behind the panel in order to place the mounting arrangement in the secured position.
[0019] Where appropriate, the support grid may comprise a plurality of support rails and some or all of the support rails may be designed as main support rails to which fastening means are attached for attachment to a surrounding stationary element.
[0020] If necessary, the support grid may comprise several intermediate rails which are attached to a surrounding stationary element via the support rails.
[0021] Where appropriate, it is provided that the intermediate rails and the support rails are connected to each other and thus form a grid whose grid fields essentially correspond to the shapes and sizes of the plate(s) attached to the respective grid fields.
[0022] Where appropriate, the panels are provided with a suspension strip on two opposite outer areas, each of which forms part of the connecting device.
[0023] If necessary, a part of a connecting device, in particular a suspension strip, can also be provided in the central area of the panel. This is particularly important if the panel extends over several support rails.
[0024] If necessary, the support frame, in particular the support rails of the support frame, are provided with hanging grooves for hanging the hanging rail.
[0025] In particular, the invention relates to a fixing part, configured to form a mounting arrangement according to the invention, comprising a joint cross and a plug-in connection part, wherein the joint cross is preferably rigid in order to enable exact positioning of the panels relative to one another, and wherein the plug-in connection part preferably has an elastic section in order to produce a plug-in connection or a clip connection.
[0026] In particular, the invention relates to a support rail, designed to form a mounting arrangement according to the invention, comprising a part of the connecting device designed in particular as a hanging groove, a plug-in groove for forming a clip connection with the fixing part, a fastening means web for attaching the fastening means, an intermediate rail groove for connection to the intermediate rail.
[0027] Preferably, the support rail has a substantially constant profile cross-section over its length, which may include the following profiles:
[0028] - two C-shaped profiles open next to each other towards the panels, which form the hanging grooves,
[0029] - a slot kept free between the two C-shaped profiles,
[0030] - and a cross-shaped profile provided on the back of the C-shaped profiles and the slot, which forms the intermediate rail groove on both sides and the fastening element web on the other. These profiles are, in particular, partial profiles of the support rail, which is formed in one piece. Alternatively, these profiles are partial profiles of a multi-part support rail, but which are firmly connected to each other.
[0031] In particular, the invention relates to a plate for forming a mounting arrangement according to the invention, comprising two suspension strips arranged in an opposite edge region, which run parallel to one another and are aligned in the same way.
[0032] The mounting arrangement preferably allows for simple and quick installation of the supporting frame. In particular, the special design of the mounting arrangement allows even large surfaces to be installed very easily and precisely. The panels can preferably be installed from the outside, i.e., from below in the case of a ceiling system. Installation is preferably carried out without tools.
[0033] The connection of the panels to the supporting grid is also preferably done without tools. Furthermore, the alignment of the panels along the surface, i.e., the alignment of the panels to each other and the adjustment of precisely aligned joints, is preferably done without tools.
[0034] The construction according to the invention allows the support grid to be formed and installed very easily and efficiently. In particular, support rails are mounted to which the panels are attached. The support rails are at least partially designed as main support rails that are attached to a surrounding stationary element via fastening means. For example, these fastening means can be hook-shaped, rope-shaped, or rod-shaped elements. These are attached on the one hand to a surrounding stationary element, such as the building ceiling. On the other hand, they engage with their other end on the support grid or the main support rails. It is preferably provided that the entire support grid is held by the fastening means only on the main support rails. The remaining support rails and / or the intermediate rails preferably do not have their own fastenings, but are supported on the main support rails or are attached to them.
[0035] In all embodiments, it is preferably provided that the connecting devices are concealed connecting devices that are not visible from the outside, i.e. from the visible side.
[0036] Preferably, the thickness of the panels of the mounting arrangement can be selected without having to adapt other components of the mounting arrangement. In particular, this is possible because the connecting devices are attached to the rear sides of the panels, so that the thickness extending from these rear sides is irrelevant for the mountability. In particular, acoustic panels, wood panels, metal panels, or other panels can be used. In all embodiments, it is preferably provided that the panels can be disassembled without tools.
[0037] In all embodiments, the mounting arrangement is preferably designed as a kit comprising the largest possible number of identical parts. For example, it can include a plurality of identically designed intermediate rails. For example, it can provide a plurality of identically designed support rails. To vary the length, individual components can be linked together using connecting means. If necessary, individual elements can also be cut to length in order to create intermediate lengths or sizes. Preferably, all fixing parts of the arrangement are of the same design. If necessary, different fixing parts are used in the edge region of a formed arrangement. In particular, a joint spacer used in the edge region can also comprise only two or three legs. If necessary, a fixing part can also be omitted in the edge region if the panels are fixed using a clip strip.
[0038] The invention will be further described below with reference to the figures.

[0045] Fig. 7 shows a schematic sectional view of a mounting arrangement in a secured position.
[0046] Unless otherwise stated, the reference symbols correspond to the following components: Supporting grid 1 , Plate 2, Connecting device 3, Surface 4, Fixing part 5, Mounting pin 6, Joint 7, Joint cross 8, Plug-in connection part 9, Securing element 10, Securing extension 11 , Support rail 12, Main support rail 12', Edge rail 13, Fastening means 14, Intermediate rail 15, Grid field 16, Suspension strip 17, Suspension groove 18, Clip profile 19, Fastening means web 20, Plug-in groove 21 , Intermediate rail groove 22.
[0047] Fig. 1 shows a schematic oblique view of an embodiment of a mounting arrangement. The mounting arrangement is designed as a ceiling system, which serves in particular to form a suspended ceiling.
[0048] The arrangement comprises a supporting grid 1 to which a plurality of panels 2 are attached. The supporting grid 1 comprises a plurality of support rails 12, some of which are designed as main support rails 12'. The main support rails 12' are attached via fastening means 14 to a surrounding building element (not shown), such as a soffit. In all embodiments, it can preferably be provided that a plurality of positions are provided along the support rails 12, in particular along the main support rails 12', at which fastening means 14 can be attached. This allows a flexible selection of the position of the fastening means 14 along the support rails 12. This is particularly necessary when the position of the fastening means 14 is predetermined by the design of the building element. For example, the support rails 12 comprise a fastening element web 20 protruding from the rear and following the path of the support rail 12, which has several openings or hooks provided to which the fastening elements 14 can then be connected. It is not necessary to utilize all the possibilities of the fastening element web 20; it is sufficient if the fastening elements 14 are connected to those openings or hooks that allow for easy installation.
[0049] The support grid 1 comprises a plurality of intermediate rails 15. These intermediate rails 15 preferably each connect two adjacent support rails 12 to one another. By selecting the length of the connecting rails 15, a precise alignment of the support grid 1 and in particular of the support rails 12 can be achieved. Likewise, by selecting the fastening points of the intermediate rails 15 to the support rails 12, a precise alignment of the position of the intermediate rails 15 is achieved. The support rails 12 and the intermediate rails 15 preferably have openings through which a mounting pin 6 can be guided if the openings are aligned with one another. The mounting pin 6 and the aligned openings of the intermediate rails 15 and the support rails 12 allow for precise installation of these components. The support grid 1 is preferably designed in a grid pattern and comprises a plurality of grid fields 16.The grid fields 16 essentially correspond to the shape and, if applicable, also the size of the plate(s) 2 mounted in the area of this grid field 16. If appropriate, a single plate 2 is arranged per grid field 16. If appropriate, several plates 2, for example, two, are arranged per grid field 16.
[0050] Preferably, connecting devices 3 are provided that enable the mounting of the panels 2 on the supporting grid 1. In this embodiment, suspension strips 17 are attached to the rear sides of the panels 2, which can be seen in this view. These suspension strips 17 are preferably provided on each panel 2 in the edge area. The suspension strips 17 allow the panels 2 to be suspended from the supporting grid 1.
[0051] On the other side, which in the present illustration points downwards, the plates 2 define a surface 4, which is in particular the outer side or the visible side of the arrangement.
[0052] An edge rail 13 can be provided at the lateral end of the mounting arrangement, in particular at the lateral end of the supporting grid 1. This edge rail 13 may be designed such that panels 2 can be mounted on only one side via the connecting device 3.
[0053] Fig. 1 shows only a section of a possible mounting arrangement. The mounting arrangement can be continued and enlarged in an analogous manner. Both the size of the grid fields 16 and the overall extent of the arrangement can be flexibly adapted, in particular enlarged or reduced. Preferably, the entire mounting arrangement is mounted to a surrounding building element via the main support rails 12' and the fastening means 14. Other components such as the panels 2, the remaining support rails 12, and / or the intermediate rails 15 are preferably not mounted independently, but are supported by the main support rails 12'.
[0054] Fig. 2 shows a schematic oblique view of a panel 2, on the rear side of which parts of the connecting devices 3 are provided. In particular, the connecting device 3 has a suspension strip 17. The suspension strips 17 or the parts of the connecting devices 3 are preferably arranged in the edge region of the panel 2.
[0055] Preferably, the suspension strips 17 are arranged parallel to one another. In particular, the suspension strips 17 are arranged parallel to one another in such a way that their hook-shaped elements also point in the same direction. This allows the panel 2 to be connected to the supporting grid 1 by a translational movement.
[0056] The thickness of the plate 2 can preferably be selected variably in all embodiments. However, preferably, all plates 2 have the same thickness, so that a smooth surface 4 is formed.
[0057] Fig. 3 shows a schematic sectional view, with the proportions adjusted so that the individual elements can be better represented.
[0058] The mounting arrangement comprises a support grid 1 with a plurality of support rails 12 and a plurality of intermediate rails 15. Those support rails 12 which are attached to a building element (not shown) via a fastening means 14 are referred to as main support rails 12'. The entire structure preferably hangs from these main support rails 12'. The support rails 12 are connected to one another via the intermediate rails 15. In particular, each support rail 12 comprises an area, in particular an intermediate rail groove 22, which is provided for receiving or attaching one end of an intermediate rail 15. In this area, the intermediate rail 15 and the support rail 12 each have openings in the mounted position which are aligned with one another such that a mounting pin 6 can be passed through. The mounting pins 6 connect the support rails 12 to the intermediate rails 15.
[0059] Preferably, in all embodiments, the openings for the passage of the mounting pins 6 in the support rails 12 are arranged along the support rails 12 at a predetermined spacing or pattern. By simply selecting one of these openings, a regular or desired pattern of the support grid 1 or the grid can be formed.
[0060] The panels 2 are connected to the supporting grid 1 via connecting devices 3. In the present embodiment, two suspension rails 17 are provided for each panel 2. These suspension rails 17 of a panel 2 preferably run parallel and are aligned identically. By moving them toward the supporting grid 1 and then along the surface 4, the suspension rails 17 can be suspended in the suspension grooves 18 of the supporting grid 1, in particular the support rails 12. To suspend them, the panel 2 must then be lowered slightly again.
[0061] In order to prevent the connecting devices 3 from being accidentally released by simply lifting the panel 2, a plurality of fixing parts 5 are provided according to the invention. These fixing parts 5 restrict the movement options of the panels 2 such that the connecting device 3 cannot be released. In the present case, a panel 2 can still be moved upwards or towards the supporting grid 1 in a translational manner, but lateral movement along the surface 4, which would be necessary to release the connecting device 3, is blocked by the fixing parts 5. In addition, the fixing parts 5 serve as a stop or as a joint cross 8 for the panels 2, so that the panels 2 are precisely aligned with one another along the surface 4. In particular, joints 7 are kept free between the panels 2, in which joints the fixing parts 5 or their section designed as a joint cross 8 are or are arranged. To fasten the panels 2, they are hooked into the support grid 1 via the connecting device 3. Once the panels 2 have been pre-assembled in this way, the fixing parts 5 can be mounted, which on the one hand lock the connecting devices 3 against loosening and on the other hand align the panels 2 relative to one another. For this purpose, the fixing parts 5 preferably have a plug-in connection part 9, which is inserted into a plug-in groove 21 to create a plug-in connection. The plug-in groove 21 preferably has an undercut or groove so that the plug-in connection part 9 can act as a clip. The plug-in groove 21 preferably follows the course of the support rails 12. The plug-in grooves 21 are preferably arranged centrally along the support rails 12.
[0062] Fig. 4 shows a detailed illustration of this connection, in particular the connection according to one or more of the other figures. The panels 2 are connected via the connecting device 3 or via a suspension groove 18 and a suspension bar.
[0063] 17 is connected to the supporting grid 1 or its supporting rail 12. This pre-assembly is carried out by hanging the panels 2 into the supporting grid 1.
[0064] The fixing of the connecting devices 3 is again effected via fixing parts 5. In this embodiment, these fixing parts 5 each comprise a plug-in connection part 9 and a joint spacer 8.
[0065] The support rail 12, which can be designed in particular as a main support rail 12', preferably comprises the following components in all embodiments: A part of a connecting device 3, in particular a suspension groove 18. Optionally, at least one suspension groove 18 is provided on both sides of the longitudinal center plane of the support rail 12. Optionally, two suspension grooves 18 are provided on both sides of the longitudinal center plane of the support rail 12, so that four suspension grooves
[0066] 18 are provided on a support rail 12. These suspension grooves 18 each extend on both sides of a slot-shaped opening through which the suspension strip 17 of the plate 2 can be inserted. Preferably, the two suspension grooves 18 on one side of the support rail 12 are mirrored or aligned in opposite directions, so that a suspension strip 17 can be suspended in one direction or the other, depending on the orientation. In addition, the support rail 12 comprises a plug-in groove 21, which is preferably arranged between those sections that form the suspension grooves 18. The plug-in groove 21 preferably follows the longitudinal course of the support rail 12. In particular, it is arranged centrally along the longitudinal center axis of the support rail 12. Preferably, the support rail 12 is designed symmetrically transversely to the longitudinal center plane, so that the plug-in groove 21 runs centrally and the suspension grooves 18 are arranged symmetrically thereto.
[0067] In addition, the support rail 12 preferably comprises a fastening means web 20, which is arranged in particular on the opposite side of the suspension grooves 18. The fastening means web 20 is preferably arranged centrally and thus runs essentially centrally along the longitudinal center plane of the support rail 12. The fastening means web 20 preferably has a plurality of openings or hooks for attaching the fastening means 14.
[0068] The support rail 12 preferably has at least one intermediate rail groove 22 which is designed for connection to the intermediate rail 15. In particular, the intermediate rail 15 can be inserted into the intermediate rail groove 22 in order to hold the intermediate rail 15 to the support rail 12. In addition, both the intermediate rail 15 and the intermediate rail groove 22 or their delimiting elements can have openings. If the openings in the intermediate rail 15 are aligned with the openings in the support rail 12, mounting pins 6 can be passed through to establish a connection between the support rail 12 and the intermediate rail 15. Preferably, two openings are provided for each intermediate rail 15 along the longitudinal extent of the support rail 12. This can prevent the intermediate rail 15 from pivoting relative to the support rail 12.In principle, however, any type of connection can be used to precisely connect the support rail 12 and the intermediate rail 15. In the present embodiment, the profile cross-section of the support rail 12 thus comprises two adjacent C-shaped profiles open toward the panels 2, which form the suspension grooves 18. A plug-in groove 21 is kept free between these two C-shaped profiles. A cross-shaped profile is provided on the rear side of the C-shaped profiles and the plug-in groove 21, which forms the intermediate rail groove 22 on both sides and the fastening means web 20 on the other.
[0069] Fig. 5 shows a possible embodiment of a fixing part 5. In all embodiments, this preferably comprises a plug-in connection part 9 and a joint spacer 8. The joint spacer 8 is preferably rigid in order to enable exact positioning of the panels 2 relative to one another. The plug-in connection part 9 preferably has an elastic section in order to be able to establish a plug-in connection or a clip connection. In the present embodiment, the plug-in connection part 9 has two elastically deformable wings protruding from the joint spacer 8 along two legs of the joint spacer 8. These two wings can be pressed towards one another in order to establish a plug-in connection, in particular with the plug-in groove 21. By overcoming a certain holding force, the fixing part 5 can be removed easily and preferably without tools. In all embodiments, the fixing part is preferably held in the plug-in groove 21 only by force-fitting.The fixing part 5 is preferably a plastic part, for example, an injection-molded part. The fixing part 5 is preferably a one-piece plastic part, wherein a substantially rigid joint spacer 8 and an elastically deformable plug-in connection part 9 are formed by the selection of the thickness of the individual elements.
[0070] Fig. 6 shows a possible embodiment of a securing element 10. This securing element 10 has at least one securing extension 11, with two securing extensions 11 being provided in this embodiment, which protrude transversely from a central body in a wing-like manner. Furthermore, the securing element 10 optionally has an element for a twisting tool, such as a screwdriver. This element allows the securing element 10 to be easily twisted using a tool.
[0071] Fig. 7 shows a schematic sectional view of a mounting arrangement in which a securing element 10 is inserted. In particular, Fig. 7 shows a mounting arrangement in a secured position. Basically, the connection of the plate 2 to the support rail 12 corresponds to that in Fig. 4 and / or Fig. 3. In addition, however, a securing element 10 is used to secure the connecting device 3. While the fixing part 5 preferably prevents displacement of the plates 2 along the surface 4, the securing element 10 can be used to prevent movement of the plates 2 towards the support grid 1 or transversely to the surface 4. For this purpose, the securing element 10 can be inserted with its central body into the plug-in groove 21, if necessary through a joint 7.Subsequently, the securing element 10 can be rotated such that its securing extension 11 protrudes between the plate 2 and the support rail 12 and / or such that the securing extension 11 protrudes between the suspension groove 18 and the plate 2. In order to release the plate 2 and in particular the connecting device 3, the securing element 10 must be rotated again such that the securing extension 11 permits movement of the plate 2 towards the support grid 1 and no longer blocks it. Once this has been done, the plate 2 can be moved towards the support grid 1, whereby the suspension strip 17 is moved out of the suspension groove 18. By moving the plate 2 along the surface 4, the suspension strip 17 can then be moved in an area of the support rail 12 by being moved away from the support grid 1 and pulled out of the support rail 12.
[0072] In the illustration in Fig. 7, a plate 2 is attached to the support rail 12 on only one side. On the other side of the longitudinal center plane of the support rail 12, a clip profile 19 is attached to the support rail 12. This clip profile 19 is used in particular when the support rail 12 forms the lateral end of the mounting arrangement. The position of the plate 2 is determined in this area by the clip profile 19. A fixing part 5 can be omitted in this area. In addition, the clip profile 19 preferably also closes the openings of those suspension grooves 18 that are not required in this area.
[0073] In all embodiments, the support rail 12 is preferably formed from a single-piece profile. In particular, the profile is a metal profile, such as an aluminum profile. The support rail 12 preferably has a constant profile or a constant cross-section over its entire length. Openings may be provided in the support rail 12, which, for example, allow a connection to the intermediate rail 15. Exemplary steps for forming an arrangement according to the invention are described below, in particular according to at least one of the figures:
[0074] This procedure is described using a suspended ceiling as an example.
[0075] The starting point for installation is a first support rail 12, which is designed as the main support rail 12'. This is attached to a surrounding building element, for example to the structural ceiling, using suspension cables or other suitable fastening means. Depending on the type of structural ceiling, anchoring is preferably carried out using fastening elements approved by the building authorities. Each main support rail 12' is mounted at a predetermined distance from the next main support rail 12'. The distance can be, for example, between 1 and 2 m, preferably 1210 mm. The distance between the main support rails 12' from one another is preferably predefined. The support rails 12 and in particular the main support rails 12' are preferably provided with all necessary bores or millings.
[0076] If smaller panels 2 are to be used than the distance between the main support rails 12', further support rails 12 can be arranged between the installed main support rails 12', but these do not have to be attached to the structural ceiling with a fastening device.
[0077] After the first two main support rails 12' have been attached, at least one intermediate rail 15 is mounted. Preferably, the first two intermediate rails 15 are mounted. The intermediate rails 15 are fastened to the main support rails 12' with mounting pins 6. In particular, the ends of the intermediate rails 15 are inserted into the intermediate rail grooves 22 of the support rails 12 or the main support rails 12'. If necessary, the intermediate rails 15 can be pushed along the intermediate rail grooves 22 at the ends of the already mounted support rails 12 to the predetermined position. At this point, they are then fastened with mounting pins 6. The intermediate rails 15 are ready for installation and preferably provided with all the holes necessary for connection. The intermediate rails 15 preferably have a length that ensures precise spacing of the support rails 12 to the desired dimension.
[0078] By connecting several intermediate rails 15 with several support rails 12 or main support rails 12', an exact alignment of the grid of the support grid 1 is achieved. The connection of the support rails 12 with the intermediate rails 15 is preferably carried out without tools, in particular by means of the mounting pins 6, which are inserted into prefabricated openings.
[0079] In the edge area, an edge rail 13 can be slid onto and secured parallel to the intermediate rails 15. The edge rail 13 can also be secured using the same mounting pins 6. In particular, the edge rail 13 can be slid onto the intermediate rail 15 in parallel. The mounting pins 6 preferably connect all parts to and among each other. The mounting pins 6 are preferably always pressed into the designated openings from top to bottom. The mounting pins 6 can be removed again if necessary.
[0080] A clip profile 19 can be pressed in before or during the installation of the panels 2. This clip profile 19 can form a closure and a stop for the panels 2. The clip profile 19 can be either offset at the corners or mitered. However, such a clip profile 19 can also be omitted if necessary.
[0081] If the supporting grid 1 is formed in sufficient size, the plates 2 can be connected to the supporting grid 1.
[0082] Two suspension strips 17 are preferably provided on the backs of the panels 2. These suspension strips 17 of a panel 2 preferably run parallel to one another and aligned in the same direction. The suspension strips 17 are preferably arranged in opposite edge regions of the panels 2. The suspension strips 17 can be glued or screwed to the panels 2. The panels 2 can also be other elements such as lamps, grilles, acoustic panels or the like. The panels 2 are then connected to the supporting grid 1 via the connecting devices 3. In particular, the connecting devices 3 comprise suspension grooves 18 provided on the supporting rails 12, into which suspension strips 17 of the panels 2 can be inserted. For this purpose, the panel 2 is moved towards the supporting grid 1 and then along the surface 4 in order to suspend the suspension strips 17 into the suspension grooves 18.
[0083] The fixing parts 5 are then inserted to center the position and to secure it against lateral movement, as well as to prevent movement along the surface 4. The fixing parts 5 are pressed, in particular, into the gaps 7 left free between the panels 2. The fixing parts 5 preferably act as spacers 8, which ensure precise alignment of the panels 2 relative to one another. However, this alignment also prevents the connecting device 3 from coming loose.
[0084] To connect the fixing part 5 to the support rail 12, the fixing part 5 comprises a plug-in connector 9 that can be pressed or clipped into a slot 21 of the support rail 12. This assembly can also be performed without tools. Removal of the fixing parts 5 can also preferably be performed without tools.
[0085] For additional security, the panels 2 can optionally be further secured. This can be achieved using the securing element 10. The securing element 10 can be inserted through a joint 7 and rotated, thus also preventing any movement of the panels 2 toward the supporting grid 1.
