Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a kit consisting of components for the manufacture of furnishings, the kit comprising at least one support block and support struts that can be inserted therein.
[0002] German patent DE 100 22 930 A1 describes furniture composed of several panel-shaped individual parts held together by connectors. Furthermore, German patent DE 10 2018 103 114 A1 describes a camp bed comprising a four-legged, foldable frame made of a flat, renewable raw material and a covering as a lying surface.
[0003] Prior art DE 10 2014 106 608 B3 discloses kits for foldable compartment structures. The basis for the furniture that can be constructed from these kits is a compartment structure that can be collapsed when the furniture is not in use. However, it is not disclosed that the respective contact surfaces have folded edges. Just like the kit of the present invention, the prior art kit uses sustainable materials.
[0004] Furthermore, DE 10 2015 001 581 A1 discloses furniture pieces that can be constructed from many different components. The furniture is assembled using a plug-in method. However, it is not disclosed that the furniture pieces can be manufactured from flat, foldable materials. Further kits are known from DE 8812414U1 and DE 202021101494U1.

Firstly, assembling the furniture is often difficult because a large number of components are used, and in many cases connectors or fasteners also need to be attached. Furthermore, the load-bearing capacity of the components is not advantageous because it is very low.
[0006] The object of the present invention is therefore to provide components of kits with which stable furnishing objects can be produced from flat, foldable materials. The components of the kits essentially comprise support blocks and support struts that can be inserted therein.

1.
