[0001] Description
[0002] Connecting device, switchgear with connecting device and method for automatically connecting and disconnecting the connecting device
[0003] The invention relates to a connecting device of a switchgear, a switchgear with at least one connecting device and a method for automatically connecting and a method for automatically disconnecting the connecting device.
[0004] Switchgear, for example DC or AC switchgear, switchgear for a railway power supply or a railway power supply network, for buildings such as a train station, etc., for industrial plants, blast furnaces, etc., usually have corresponding switch cabinets with fixed and moving parts.
[0005] Such a switchgear with one or more switchgear cabinets can, for example, also be part of a substation of a railway line or a railway network for supplying the overhead line of a section of that railway line. Such substations with the corresponding switchgear are usually provided separately for each section of a railway line or a railway network.
[0006] Switchgear usually includes, among other things, high-speed circuit breakers and control lines or control lines, the intended separation or connection of which to the rest of the system, particularly during or for maintenance purposes, is provided in one or more switchgear cabinets assigned to the switchgear.
[0007] For this purpose, parts of the control cabinets are movable, for example as drawers, inserts or trolleys, etc., for such high-speed circuit breakers as well as control lines or control line cables, in order to be able to separate them from the system in a targeted manner. For example, corresponding trolleys are designed so that they can be moved in and out of the associated control cabinet. Before moving out or pulling out, the control line cable or cables (usually 30-50 wires) must be unplugged, i.e. separated, and plugged in, i.e. connected, when moving in. Depending on the design of the trolley, this takes place either before or after moving in or pushing into the control cabinet.
[0008] Today's solutions generally use stiff, cumbersome cables with industrial connectors featuring locking latches. These must be manually unlocked and unplugged before extending or pulling out, and manually plugged and locked again when retracting or pushing in. The control cable in question must also be properly secured after unplugging so that it cannot be damaged when the switchgear is extended or retracted. This also carries the risk that maintenance personnel will forget to reconnect the connector at the end.
[0009] In addition, particularly with regard to switchgear for traction power supplies, two positions are defined within the switchgear cabinet according to the railway standard, which must always be taken into account, especially during maintenance work. One of the defined positions is the operating position, in which the high-speed circuit breaker(s) is / are fully contacted with the switchgear cabinet, i.e. all main contacts and auxiliary contacts or circuits are closed or connected. The second defined position is the test position, in which the main contacts are separated, but the auxiliary contacts remain connected or closed. In this case, appropriate air gaps to live parts must be and remain ensured to ensure safe separation of the main contacts in the test position.This is currently solved, at least in some cases, by moving the circuit-breaker(s) themselves, which in turn gives rise to other difficulties, such as the need for mutual interlocking of the moving part and the circuit-breaker, which is very complex in terms of construction and operation.
[0010] The invention is based on the object of specifying a connection device of a switchgear assembly, a switchgear assembly with a connection device and a method for automatically connecting and a method for automatically disconnecting the connection device, with which on the one hand the connection to and on the other hand the disconnection from a control line of the switchgear assembly is improved.
[0011] The problem is solved by the features of independent claim 1 and the subordinate claims 17, 18, and 19. Further developments and refinements of the invention are found in the features of the dependent claims.
[0012] For this purpose, the connecting device of a switchgear assembly with at least one control line has at least two parts, one part being connected to a fixed part of a switchgear cabinet of the switchgear assembly and the second part being connected to a movable part of the switchgear cabinet of the switchgear assembly, the movable part of the switchgear cabinet being movable and the connection between the second part and the first part of the connecting device being able to be established by means of sliding the movable part of the switchgear cabinet, the connection to the at least one control line of the switchgear assembly being able to be established automatically by means of establishing the connection between the second part and the first part of the connecting device.
[0013] According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the connection of the second part to the first part of the connecting device can be severed by pulling the movable part of the switchgear cabinet, wherein the connection to the at least one control line of the switchgear can be severed automatically by separating the connection of the second part from the first part of the connecting device.
[0014] The inventive solution has the advantage that the control line(s) is / are automatically connected or disconnected. The connection of the control line(s) can therefore be established and separated much more quickly and with fewer manual steps. This greatly improves user-friendliness. Furthermore, the operating personnel cannot forget to plug in the control line or control line cable when retracting or pushing it in, i.e., to establish the connection. This ensures fast and error-free operation.
[0015] According to a further particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the movable part of the switchgear cabinet is designed as a trolley, wherein the trolley can be pushed into the switchgear cabinet. Heavy and / or large loads, e.g. high-speed circuit breakers, can be transported back and forth particularly easily using a trolley. Consequently, the connection of the control line(s) can be established and separated again even faster and easier by simply pushing them in and out. In this way, the automatic separation or establishment of the connection of the control line(s) can be carried out particularly easily by moving the trolley, e.g. the high-speed circuit breaker trolley, in and out.
[0016] According to a further preferred embodiment of the invention, the first and second parts of the connecting device each have a plug-in connection component by means of which the first and second parts of the connecting device can be connected to one another as a plug-in connection. The plug-in connection is particularly preferably self-centering.
[0017] This has the advantage of ensuring a secure connection between the male and female parts of the contacts, thus ensuring a permanent contact connection, particularly for the control cable(s). The self-centering plug connection also easily compensates for tolerances in the switch carriage position within the cabinet, thus preventing damage during the plugging process.
[0018] According to a further particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the second part of the connecting device has at least one movable component, wherein the at least one movable component of the second part can be displaced in the connected state of the connecting device in the direction of the first part up to an end position.
[0019] Particularly preferably, the at least one movable component of the second part is displaceable in the connected state of the connecting device in the direction of the first part by at least 90 mm up to the end position.
[0020] This has the advantage that after the connection of the control line(s) has been established, i.e. after the two plug-in components of the first and second part of the connecting device have been connected to one another, the movable component of the second part can move further in the direction of the first part of the connecting device, preferably by means of telescopic rails, while maintaining the connection of the control line(s), until an end position which is structurally fixed on the fixed part of the control cabinet or of the first part of the connecting device, for example by means of a corresponding stable stop, is reached. The implementation of this movement is not restricted to the use of telescopic rails. All other possible and sensible alternative solutions, such as rollers, etc., can be used. This means that, in particular in the rail vehicle sector, e.g.In the case of switchgear for a traction power supply or a traction power supply network, certain specifications and requirements, particularly during maintenance work, which arise in accordance with the corresponding railway standards that must be taken into account, are always compelled to be complied with and implemented. In accordance with the railway standard, two positions in particular are defined within the switchgear cabinet. One of the defined positions is the operating position, in which the high-speed circuit breaker(s) is / are fully contacted with the switchgear cabinet, i.e. all main contacts and auxiliary contacts or circuits are closed or connected. The second defined position is the test position, in which the main contacts are separated, but the auxiliary contacts, in particular the control line(s), remain connected or closed.In the test position, appropriate air gaps to live parts must be ensured or maintained for safe separation of the main contacts. This is achieved in particular by the above-described embodiment of the invention, which allows the movable component of the second part of the connecting device to be displaced by at least 90 mm, thus ensuring a corresponding, sufficiently large air gap.
[0021] Accordingly, the point in time at which the two plug-in components of the first and second part of the connecting device are connected to one another, i.e. the connection of the control line(s) is / are established, corresponds to the test position.
[0022] Thus, in particular with the further retraction or insertion, for example of a carriage or a withdrawable part with the movable component of the second part of the connecting device, to the end position, which corresponds to the operating position, it is possible for the connection of the control line(s) to remain intact until the operating position is reached. When pulling or extending, for example of the switch carriage from the switch cabinet, etc., from the end position, i.e. the operating position, the end position in the end position absorbs the force to separate the plug connection of the connecting device.
[0023] According to a further particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the second part of the connecting device has at least one pressure device, by means of which the connection of the second part to the first part of the connecting device can be established. The pressure device is preferably at least partially part of the movable component of the second part of the connecting device and particularly preferably has a stop and a movable counter-stop, wherein in the rest position of the pressure device the stop and the counter-stop lie next to one another. The stop of the pressure device is preferably designed as an elevation and this is particularly preferably cuboid-shaped. The counter-stop of the pressure device preferably has at least one roller lever and a spring element, wherein the spring element is particularly preferably designed as a gas spring.According to a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, by applying a compressive force to the counter-stop of the pressure device, the stop of the counter-stop can be overcome, and by means of the compressive force with which the stop of the pressure device can be overcome by the counter-stop, a counter-pressure can preferably be exerted on the plug-in connection components of the first and second parts of the connecting device, by means of which the connection of the second part to the first part of the connecting device can be established.
[0024] With the embodiment according to the invention, a mechanism is therefore installed, for example on a carriage, in particular a switch carriage, or in a drawer or a plug-in unit, etc., which mechanism, when pressure is exerted on the counter-stop of the pressure device of the second part of the connecting device by pushing in, for example the carriage, starting from the rest position of the pressure device, in which the stop and counter-stop can lie next to one another or, depending on requirements, even against one another, ensures the generation of sufficient counter-pressure in order to establish the plug-in connection of the connecting device and thus the connection of the control line(s) safely and stably. In particular, the cuboid design of the elevation orof the stop of the pressure device both a suitable vertical surface transverse to the direction of movement of the movable component of the second part of the connecting device and also the necessary height that has to be overcome in order to build up the necessary pressure or counter-pressure. The stop itself is not part of the movable component of the second part of the connecting device in order to enable the build-up of the corresponding pressure or counter-pressure. The dimensions and in particular the geometric shape of the stop can be adapted as required without restriction. By designing the counter-stop with a roller lever and spring element, the required force, in particular the compressive force to overcome the stop and simultaneously create the connection, i.e. plugging in the control line(s), can be dosed particularly precisely and accurately. By preferably using a gas spring orThis is further improved by a gas pressure spring. After overcoming the stop or at least part of the stop, for example a vertical surface of a cuboidal elevation, the use of a roller lever means that when the movable component is retracted or pushed in further, it can move further in the direction of the control cabinet to the end position without counterpressure, whilst the connection to the control cable(s) remains. The roller lever moves after leaving or overcoming the vertical surface, for example on the cuboidal elevation, along the horizontal cover surface of the elevation or the stop. The length of the possible movement can be dimensioned according to requirements. If a correspondingly long air gap is required or desired for safe separation of contacts, in particular of main contacts to live parts.required, the corresponding length can easily be extended to at least 90mm or even considerably longer.
[0025] A switchgear assembly with at least one connecting device according to the invention according to one of claims 1 to 16 accordingly has the advantages of the invention described above.
[0026] A further aspect of the present invention relates to a method for automatically connecting at least one control line of a switchgear by means of at least one connecting device according to one of claims 1 to 16, comprising the following steps:
[0027] - sliding the movable part of the switchgear cabinet to which the second part of the connecting device is connected towards the fixed part of the switchgear cabinet to which the first part of the connecting device is connected;
[0028] - Connecting the second part to the first part of the connecting device;
[0029] - Automatically establishing the connection of the at least one control line of the switchgear by establishing the connection of the second part to the first part of the connecting device.
[0030] A further aspect of the present invention relates to a method for automatically disconnecting at least one control line of a switchgear by means of at least one connecting device according to one of claims 1 to 16, comprising the following steps:
[0031] - pulling the movable part of the switchgear cabinet to which the second part of the connecting device is connected from the fixed part of the switchgear cabinet to which the first part of the connecting device is connected; - disconnecting the second part from the first part of the connecting device;
[0032] - Automatically disconnecting the connection of at least one control line of the switchgear by disconnecting the connection of the second part from the first part of the connecting device.
[0033] The described inventive method enables both automatic connection and automatic disconnection of control lines from switchgear very quickly and with only a few manual steps, thereby greatly improving user-friendliness. Furthermore, the operating personnel cannot forget to plug in the control line or control line cable when inserting or pushing it in, i.e., when establishing the connection. This ensures fast and error-free operation.

[0040] Fig. 5 shows a switch cabinet with the connecting device according to the invention in the connected state according to Fig. 2, Fig. 6 shows a switch cabinet with the connecting device according to the invention in the connected state in the end stop position according to Fig. 3.
[0041] In Figures 1 to 6, identical components are designated by the same reference numerals. In Figures 4 to 6, explicit reference is made to the detailed illustrations in the corresponding Figures 1 to 3. The illustrations of the embodiments may differ from each other. In the respective figure descriptions, only the differences with respect to the other figures are described; the similarities naturally continue to apply even without explicit mention.
[0042] Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of the connecting device 1 according to the invention in a separated state, comprising a first part 5, which is firmly connected to a stationary part 20 of a control cabinet 19, and a second part 6, which is connected to a movable part 21 of a control cabinet 19 (see also Figs. 4 to 6, in which the embodiments with control cabinet 19 are shown). As shown in Fig. 1, the first part 5 and the second part 6 of the connecting device are separated, whereby the connection of the control line(s) is also separated. The first part 5 of the connecting device 1 essentially consists of a cabinet-side plug-in connection component 2 and an end stop 9, which identifies or defines an end position of the second part 6. The end stop 9 is connected here via a metallic frame to the cabinet-side plug-in connection component 2.The first part 5 of the connecting device 1 is essentially immobile and stationary.
[0043] The second part 6 of the connecting device 1 essentially consists of a plug-in connection component 3, which is connected to the movable part 21 of the control cabinet 19, for example on the carriage side, a movable component 8 and a stop 12, which is designed here as a cuboid-shaped elevation and is part of the pressure device 11. The elevation 12, in contrast to the further component of the pressure device, the counter-stop 13, is designed to be stationary in order to enable the build-up of a corresponding pressure or counter-pressure by the counter-stop 13. The counter-stop 13 of the pressure device 11 consists, according to the embodiment of Figure 1, of a roller lever 14, which is coupled to a gas spring or gas pressure spring 15.1, the roller lever 14 has left the initial rest position, in which the elevation 12 and the roller lever 14 are generally located next to one another, and is already lying directly against the elevation 12 and is in contact with it. The counter-stop 13 of the pressure device 11, in particular the gas (pressure) spring 15, is connected to the holder 17 of the second part 6 of the connecting device 1. As shown, the holder 17 is connected by means of a lateral connection, for example a side plate, to at least one telescopic rail 16, which is part of the movable component 8 and ensures the movement of the second part 6 in the direction of the first part 5 of the connecting device 1.Starting from the separated state of the connecting device 1 shown in Figure 1, the second part 6 of the connecting device 1, with the exception of the fixed elevation 12, moves further in the direction of the first part 5 of the connecting device 1 when, for example, an associated carriage 21 is pushed in (this is shown in Figures 4 to 6). The two plug-in connection components 2, 3 of the connecting device 1 have already come close enough, as shown in Figure 1, that the production of the plug-in connection of the connecting device 1 and thus the connection of the control line is imminent. In order to ensure that the plug-in connection is particularly secure and simple, a self-centering plug-in connection is used for this purpose.In order to ensure that the plug-in connection is made automatically, a compressive force is exerted in particular on the pressure device 11 as the carriage 21, for example, is pushed in further, as a result of which the roller lever 14, in conjunction with the gas spring 15, moves or is pushed up on the vertical surface of the cuboidal elevation 12, against which the roller lever 14 is already resting, and in this way a corresponding counter-pressure is built up which, as the device is pushed further into the switch cabinet 19, leads to a secure and stable plug-in connection of the plug-in connection components 2, 3 of the connecting device 1. This is achieved immediately when the roller lever 14 has just reached or overcome the upper edge of the vertical surface of the elevation 12 and has arrived on the horizontal roof surface of the elevation 12. This position is shown in Figure 2.The plug connection 2, 3 of the connecting device 1 and thus the connection of the control line is made with a self-centering plug connection as shown.
[0044] When the carriage 21 with the second part 6 of the connecting device 1 is pushed in further, for example, the plug-in connection and thus the connection of the control line(s) remains, starting from this position, and the plug-in connection components 2, 3 remain stationary from this position. The remainder of the second part 6 of the connecting device 1 moves further in the direction of the first part 5. In doing so, the roller lever 14 moves or travels further without counterpressure on the horizontal roof surface of the elevation 12 until the second part 6 reaches the end position and strikes or has arrived with the telescopic rail(s) 16 on the end stop 9 of the first part 5 of the connecting device 1. This position is shown in Figure 3. In this position all connections are then restored. To automatically separate the connection(s), the second part 6 is moved away from or towards the first part 5 of the connecting device 1.pulled out, whereby the automatic disconnection process is essentially the reverse of the automatic establishment of the connection(s).
[0045] Figures 4 to 6 illustrate, using an embodiment used in the rail vehicle sector, what was previously described with reference to Figures 1 to 3. For this purpose, Figures 4 to 6 explicitly refer to Figures 1 to 3, in particular Figure 4 to Figure 1 (I), Figure 5 to Figure 2 (II), and Figure 6 to Figure 3 (III).
[0046] Particularly in the case of switchgear for a traction power supply or for a traction power supply network, certain specifications and requirements must be observed in accordance with railway standards, especially during maintenance work. In particular, two positions are defined within switchgear cabinets. One of the defined positions is the operating position, in which one or more high-speed circuit breakers is / are fully contacted with the switchgear cabinet, i.e. all main contacts and auxiliary contacts or circuits are closed or connected. The second defined position is the test position, in which the main contacts are separated, but the auxiliary contacts, i.e. in particular the control line(s), remain connected or closed. In this case, appropriate air gaps to live parts must be and remain ensured in the test position to ensure safe separation of the main contacts.
[0047] Figure 4, using the embodiment in Figure 1 (I), shows a switch cabinet 19 with a fixed part 20 and a movable part, the carriage 21, on which, for example, a high-speed circuit breaker is located in the upper area and the connecting device 1 according to Figure 1 is arranged in the lower area of the carriage 21. However, this arrangement is not restrictive, but can be made at any reasonable point or at any location on the carriage 21 as required. Figure 4 shows the completely separated state of all main contacts 22 and the secondary contacts, in particular the control line or the associated connecting device 1 according to the invention.
[0048] If the carriage 21 is pushed further into the control cabinet 19 in the direction of the fixed part 20, the test position is reached in Figure 5. The plug connection 2, 3 of the connecting device 1 and thus the connection of the control line is automatically established in this position by pushing in the carriage 21, according to the embodiment of Figure 2 (II). The main contacts 22 are still separated from one another. For safe separation, the connecting device 1 is designed such that in this position there is an air gap of at least 90mm between the open contacts of the main contacts 22, i.e. the live parts. The length of the air gap can also be increased as required by designing the connecting device 1 accordingly.
[0049] When the carriage 21 is pushed further into the switch cabinet 19, the operating position is reached in Figure 6, in which, according to the embodiment of Figure 3 (III), in addition to the already established plug connection 2, 3 of the connecting device 1 and thus the established connection of the control line, which also continues to exist when pushed in, the connection of all main contacts 22 is now also automatically established, so that all connections are now re-established.
[0050] For automatic separation of the connection(s), the carriage 21 is pulled away from the fixed part 20 and out of the control cabinet 19, whereby the automatic separation process is carried out essentially in reverse to the automatic establishment of the connection(s).
