Abstract

A data processing apparatus (100) configured to generate a software code (170) based on a first data set (140). The software code (170) comprises a plurality of conditionals for implementing a decision tree (160). The data processing apparatus is further configured to execute the software code (170) for determining a result of the decision tree (160) for a first subset of a second data set (150), collect statistical data based on a second subset of the second data set (150) and modify the software code (170) based on the collected statistical data by one or more of a plurality of code modification operations.
