Abstract

The invention relates toa coating assembly for baked stick-shaped snacks comprising a clamp (2) engaging from one end to a plurality of sequentially and distantly arranged baked stick-shaped snack products (5); a conveying device (4) on which the clamp (2) moves continuously at a predetermined line speed (vx) along a line (3) and is positioned at the opposite ends of a shaft (1 ) in which the clamp (2) is seated; and a container (10) that holds a fluid or semi-fluid coating liquid (6) and is aligned from above with the clamp (2) holding the snack product (5) in a vertical position at a coating location. The coating device further comprises a horizontal conveying device (30) which allows the container (10) to move horizontally on the line with the clamp (2), and a vertical conveying device (20) which simultaneously raises the horizontally moving container (10) towards the clamp (2) to immerse the snack product (5) at least partially in the coating liquid (6).
