Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to walls for waste collection bins and more particularly to a fixing member for such walls.
[0002] It is known to have to add walls to a waste collection bin. For example, and with a view to selective waste sorting, it is known to separate a storage volume of a waste collection bin into several compartments, for example into two compartments, in order to form several different waste storage volumes in a single bin. To do this, it is known to integrate a separating wall, this wall extending for example vertically from an opening of the waste collection bin to the bottom of the waste collection bin by dividing the initial storage volume into two compartments. This separating wall can divide the storage volume into two compartments of equal or unequal volumes.
[0003] The dividing wall must create a certain seal between the two compartments created. Sealing means that there cannot be, inside the waste collection bin, any transfer of waste from one compartment to the other. To achieve this (and also to keep the dividing wall in the tank when emptying the waste collection bin), the dividing wall is preferably in contact with the internal faces of the side walls of the waste collection bin as well as the internal face of a bottom wall of the waste collection bin by being fixed to the latter.
[0004] Typically, the wall(s), particularly the separating walls, inserted inside a waste collection bin and the waste collection bin comprise means for positioning and locking the wall in the waste collection bin. This may, for example, be a guide rail provided on an internal face of one or more walls of the waste collection bin and cooperating with one or more grooves provided on the surface of the wall. This generally involves an interaction between a male element and a female element carried by the waste collection bin and the wall. This male element / female element interaction may also allow the wall to fit into the waste collection bin.
[0005] In addition, and in addition to this guidance / blocking, it is known to clip the wall to the waste collection bin, for example, and for a separating wall, at an interaction zone between an upper side of the separating wall and the upper collar of the waste collection bin.
[0006] The disadvantage of the above-mentioned solutions is that it is necessary to provide specific elements carried by the waste collection bin and by the wall to allow the latter to be fixed. Therefore, it is no longer possible to fix a wall to a waste collection bin which does not include the elements necessary for fixing said separating wall. Consequently, a waste collection bin which has not been designed to accommodate an additional wall, for example a separating wall to separate its waste storage volume into several sub-volumes, could not be subject to such fixing.
[0007] The aim of the invention is to provide a wall comprising a fixing member allowing it to be fixed in any type of waste collection bin, whether the latter have been designed to accommodate such a wall or not.
[0008] To this end, the invention relates to a member for fixing a wall, for example a separating wall, to a waste collection bin comprising a set of fixing walls aligned with each other, the fixing walls being intended to be passed through by a removable fixing element intended to pass through at least part of the set of fixing walls and the wall of a waste collection bin when the wall is fixed in a waste collection bin.
[0009] Thus, a set of fixing walls is used, intended to be crossed by a removable fixing element, to enclose one or more walls of the waste collection bin, at the level of the zone or zones in which fixing members are placed, between the fixing walls and the removable fixing element. It is therefore possible to fix a wall in a bin that does not have any particular device for fixing said wall. It is therefore possible to adapt a wall to a bin even if the latter has not been designed with means allowing the fixing of a wall.
[0010] The fixing member according to the invention may comprise one or more of the following characteristics, alone or in combination: the fixing member comprises at least three fixing walls, preferably between four and twenty fixing walls, preferably between five and fifteen fixing walls, preferably between six and twelve fixing walls, preferably 10 fixing walls and / or the fixing walls are rectilinear and parallel to each other, and / or the fixing walls are solid, and / or the fixing walls are hollow, and / or the fixing walls are separate from each other, and / or the fixing walls are connected to each other, each fixing wall being connected to at least one adjacent wall, and / or the fixing walls comprise through holes aligned from one fixing wall to another.
[0011] The invention also relates to an assembly formed by: a waste collection bin wall comprising a main body, and at least one fixing member according to the invention extending from an edge of the main body of the waste collection bin wall.
[0012] The assembly according to the invention may comprise one or more of the following characteristics, alone or in combination: several fixing members are arranged on the wall, at least one fixing member extending from a different edge of the main body, and / or the fixing walls extend projecting from at least one face of the main body, and / or the fixing walls extend in a thickness of the main body, and / or the fixing member is integral with the main body, and / or the fixing member is fitted in a housing provided in the main body, and / or the wall is a hollow wall, preferably comprising an external envelope with a thickness of between 1 and 10 millimeters, preferably between 2 and 8 millimeters, preferably between 3 and 7 millimeters, preferably between 4 and 6 millimeters, and / or the wall is a wall separating a storage volume of a waste collection bin into several sub-volumes, and / or the main body of the separating wall comprises an upper edge,a lower edge and two side edges, the side edges and / or the lower edge being intended to be in contact with an internal face of a wall of a waste collection bin, the fixing member extending from at least one side edge or the lower edge, the fixing walls being aligned with respect to each other in a direction extending perpendicular to the side or bottom edge and towards the inside of the main body.
[0013] The invention also relates to a device for fixing a wall to a waste collection bin formed by an assembly of a wall and at least one fixing member according to the invention and a removable fixing element.
[0014] Advantageously, the removable fixing element is chosen from a screw or a fixing clip.
[0015] The invention also relates to a waste collection bin comprising a fixing device according to the invention. Brief description of the figures
[0016] The invention will be better understood on reading the following description, given solely by way of example and with reference to the appended drawings in which: [ Fig. 1 ] is a perspective view of a wall according to the invention, [ Fig. 2 ] is a first view of a portion of the separating wall according to the invention comprising fixing walls of a fixing member, [ Fig. 3 ] is a second view of a portion of the separating wall according to the invention comprising fixing walls of a fixing member, [ Fig. 4 ] is a cross-sectional view of a portion of a wall according to the invention, and [ Fig. 5 ] is a front view of a portion of a portion of a wall according to an alternative embodiment of the invention. Detailed description
[0017] We now refer to the figure 1 illustrating a dividing wall 2 intended to divide a storage volume of a waste collection bin into two storage sub-volumes in order to create two waste streams of different natures in the same waste collection bin. The dividing wall 2 is intended to be arranged in a waste collection bin in order to divide the storage volume into two sealed compartments. Sealing means that there cannot be, inside the waste collection bin, any transfer of waste from one compartment to the other.
[0018] As explained above, the wall can be a dividing wall 2. This example will be the one described later. The wall could be any other type of wall that can be fixed in a waste collection bin.
[0019] The dividing wall 2 extends, for example, vertically from an opening of the waste collection bin to the bottom of the waste collection bin, dividing the initial storage volume into two compartments. It may divide the storage volume into two compartments of equal or unequal volumes. The dividing wall 2 may also be arranged inclined in the waste collection bin.
[0020] The main body 4 is preferably made of high-density polyethylene. This is a material conventionally used to design waste collection bins, comprising optimal mechanical properties. The main body 4 may be hollow, for example by being made by blow molding. The outer casing may therefore have a thickness of between 1 and 10 millimeters, preferably between 2 and 8 millimeters, preferably between 3 and 7 millimeters, preferably between 4 and 6 millimeters. It may also be solid, for example by being made by injection molding.
[0021] The dividing wall 2 comprises a main body 4. This main body 4 forms almost the entire dividing wall 2. It may comprise a plurality of discontinuities 6 (two discontinuities referenced on the figure 1) allowing the separating wall 2 to be stiffened. These discontinuities 6 form depressions on the external faces of the main body 4. Preferably, discontinuities 6 arranged opposite each other on opposite faces of the main body 4 meet, which allows the main body 4 to be stiffened.
[0022] The main body 4 comprises at least four sections, three of which are intended to be in contact with internal faces of walls of the waste collection bin (the two side sections 8 and the lower section 10), in order to carry out the separation of the storage volume.
[0023] The separating wall 2 may comprise at least one elastically deformable sealing lip 12 extending from the lateral edges 8 and / or the lower edge 10. The illustrated example shows the presence of a sealing lip extending from one lateral edge 8 to the other lateral edge 8 via the lower edge 10.
[0024] Advantageously, the sealing lip 12 is molded integrally with the main body 4. This is a simple way of obtaining the separating wall 2. For example, the sealing lip 12 can be made of high-density polyethylene, just like the main body 4. Regarding the sealing lip 12, the use of high-density polyethylene contributes to obtaining a certain elasticity of the sealing lip 12.
[0025] Alternatively, the sealing lip 12 could be attached to the main body 4 after molding the latter, for example by gluing, or even be overmolded onto the main body 4. This makes it possible to choose a specific material for the sealing lip 12 and different from that of the main body 4.
[0026] The separating wall 2 comprises at least one fixing member 14 of the separating wall 2 to a waste collection bin extending from at least one lateral edge 8 or the lower edge 10. In the example of the figure 1 , the separating wall 2 comprises six fixing members 14 forming two groups of three fixing members 14, each lateral edge 8 having three fixing members 14 extending from it at different levels of said lateral edge. The number of fixing members and their positions may obviously differ from the example in the figures.
[0027] Each fixing member 14 comprises a set of fixing walls 16 (see figures 2 to 4 ) aligned with each other in an extension direction A extending perpendicular to the lateral edge 8 or lower edge 10 (in the example of the figure 2 perpendicular to a side edge 8) and towards the inside of the main body 4. This alignment aims to ensure that a removable fixing element can pass through the fixing walls 16 when it is put in place from outside the waste collection bin to pass through a wall of the waste collection bin and at least part of the fixing walls 16.
[0028] The fixing walls 16 may extend projecting from at least one face 19 of the main body 4, for example perpendicular to a plane in which said face 19 extends.
[0029] Alternatively, and as is the case in the figures, the fixing walls 16 can extend into a thickness of the main body 4. This is particularly visible in the figure 4 In this case, a removable fixing element (described below) passes through, at the time of fixing the separating wall 2 to a waste collection bin, a wall forming the lateral edge 8 or lower edge 10 then at least part of the fixing walls 16 to ensure the fixing of the separating wall 2 to the waste collection bin.
[0030] The fixing walls 16 may be rectilinear or not, and may or may not be parallel to each other. In the example of the figure 4 , the fixing walls 16 are for example not parallel to each other. They form with connecting walls (described below) a crenellated structure.
[0031] The fixing walls 16 may be solid or hollow. A solid fixing wall forms a robust anchoring element for a removable fixing element, especially if its thickness is significant. A hollow fixing wall makes it possible to consume less plastic material and to lighten the fixing wall, and can still form a robust anchoring element for a removable fixing element, for example if it is crossed right through by a removable fixing element. The removable fixing member according to the invention is particularly suitable for fixing hollow walls. Commonly, a hollow wall is called a blown wall and can be obtained by an extrusion blowing process.
[0032] The fixing walls 16 may be separate from each other. They may also be connected to each other, as can be seen in the Figures 3 and 4 in which 18 connecting walls (only two referenced on the figure 4) connect the fixing walls 16 two by two (each connecting wall connecting two adjacent fixing walls 16). The connecting walls 18 may, as is the case in the illustrated example, be sub-assemblies of a single connecting wall 20 (see Figures 3 and 4 ). Generally, each fixing wall 16 may have a first end connected to an adjacent first fixing wall 16 by a first connecting wall 18 and a second end opposite the first end connected to an adjacent second fixing wall 16 by a second connecting wall 18.
[0033] The fixing member 14 may be made in one piece with the main body 4 by being conventionally molded with the latter.
[0034] Alternatively, the fixing member 14 may be removable and be attached to the main body 4 as shown in the Figure 5. In such a case, the main body 4 is designed, for example by molding, for example by blow molding. A housing 22 is provided in the main body 4. This housing can be formed by a through orifice or by a blind hole.
[0035] In the case of a removable fixing member 14, the latter can be force-mounted or fixed by any means known to those skilled in the art, for example by snap-fastening (with snap-fastening means arranged in the housing 22 and on the fixing member 14), by gluing, etc.
[0036] This possibility of attaching the fixing member 14 to the main body 4 makes it possible, for example, to produce the fixing member in a material different from that of the main body (for example, more robust, etc.), or by a design technique different from that of the main body 4. This also makes it possible to equip the separating wall 2 with one or more fixing members 14 only when this is desired, or to replace the fixing member(s) 14 in the case where the separating wall 2 is moved and / or reused, or to adapt fixing members 14 of different shapes on the same separating wall 2.
[0037] The fixing walls 16 are intended to be crossed by a removable fixing element (not shown) intended to cross at least part of the set of fixing walls 16 and a wall of a waste collection bin when the separating wall 2 is fixed in a waste collection bin.
[0038] The higher the number of fixing walls 16, the more anchor points this creates for the removable fixing element so as to stabilize and reinforce the fixing of the separating wall 2.
[0039] In other words, the removable fixing element can pass through, from outside the waste collection bin, the wall of said waste collection bin and all or part of the fixing walls 16. As explained above, and when the fixing walls 16 extend into the thickness of the main body 4, the removable fixing element also passes through the wall of the side edge 8 (or of the lower edge 10).
[0040] The removable fixing element is for example a screw or a clip. Any other removable element capable of passing through the fixing walls 16 can be considered.
[0041] The fixing walls 16 may comprise through holes allowing the removable fixing element to pass through. Alternatively, the removable fixing element may, for example when it is a screw, pierce the fixing walls passed through at the time of fixing the separating wall 2 to the waste collection bin.
[0042] The invention also relates to a fixing device formed on the one hand by an assembly formed of a separating wall 2 and at least one fixing member 14 and on the other hand by a removable fixing element.
[0043] The invention also relates to a waste collection bin comprising a fixing device according to the invention. List of references
