Description
[0001] The present invention relates to a knitted device, in particular a knitted mesh, with gripping loops, comprising a first zone, in particular a central zone, comprising loops intended to cooperate with associated hooks of a hook element and at least one second selvedge zone, in particular two second selvedge zones on either side of the first central loop zone, contiguous to the first loop zone and not comprising loops. The present invention also relates to a cover intended to cover a foam object produced by molding, for example a car seat, the cover comprising on its face intended to be in contact with the molded object a knitted loop device of the type mentioned above, the knitted loop device being fixed, in particular sewn, to the cover, in particular at the level of the at least one second selvedge zone.The present invention also relates to a molded object, for example an automobile seat, covered with a cover of this type.
[0002] Conventionally, to make a car seat, a foam is first molded into the shape of the seat to be obtained and during molding, hooks are overmolded so that they protrude from the bottom of cavities or trenches formed on the outer surface of the molded object to allow a cover to be fixed around the object by means of loops coming from the cover.
[0003] These loops are produced by means of a knitted loop device generally comprising a central zone, from which knitted loops protrude, and two selvedge zones, left and right, from which no knitted loops protrude and at the level of which the knitted loop device is fixed, in particular by sewing, to the cap to allow the latter to be fixed to the molded object by means of hooks overmolded to the molded object.
[0004] This type of molded object covered with a cover, in particular a car seat, is known for example from document FR 3 003 578 A1, in which a knitted fabric is described.
[0005] These car seats covered with a cover, particularly in the form of a textile or leather sheet, must have an appearance that is as clean and precise as possible. To achieve this, the cover must perfectly match the contour of the molded object that it covers. However, in use, it is found that the covers are either poorly fixed to the molded objects and in particular do not perfectly match the shape of the molded object, namely the car seat, that they are intended to cover, or, little by little over time, no longer perfectly match the shape of the seat.

Claims
1.
