Abstract

An in-flow mixing unit for heating systems integrates a hydraulic separator and a mixing unit consisting of a housing having an inlet pipe for the ingress of a heat carrier medium from a heat source and a return pipe for returning heat carrier medium to the heat source, and these pipes ensure movement of heat carrier medium inside the housing. Two pipes on the opposite side of the housing are connected to one another by a jumper so that the pipes assume an H-shaped form with four openings. Two of the openings are disposed inside the housing where there is a constant flow of heat carrier medium, and the other two are disposed outside the housing, while the connector can be disposed either outside or inside the housing with the heat carrier medium. The heat carrier medium is moved by a pump, and the temperature is regulated by means of the controlled mixing of the fluid from the housing and jumper. Temperature downstream of the hydraulic separator is regulated with a thermal head or other actuator. The technical effect refers to heat carrier medium temperature regulation directly inside the hydraulic separator by the movement of a stem, while also providing for a high level of reliability of the system.

Description

[0001] An in-flow mixing unit is a device that regulates the temperature of liquids in heating systems in private and industrial premises. It can also be used in any other systems to change and control the characteristics of liquids.Technical scope

[0002] The invention refers to the field of power engineering and can be used in water heating systems for private and industrial premises and other technological needs. Background of the invention

[0003] A conventional hydraulic separator for heating systems (hydraulic separator, bottle, hydrodynamic thermal separator) is known, which is used in heating systems to equalise temperatures and pressures in the system. A mixing unit (three-way valve or other technical device) is known, in which the heat carrier flows are redistributed to achieve certain temperature parameters, used in the installation of underfloor heating in private houses. The present invention combines a hydraulic separator and a mixing unit in a single housing.Summary of the invention

[0004] The in-flow mixing unit for heating systems combines a hydraulic separator and a mixing unit and consists of a housing with a heat carrier fluid inlet pipe from the heat source and a heat carrier fluid return pipe to the heat source, through which the heat carrier fluid moves in the housing, and two pipes on the opposite side of the housing, connected to each other by a jumper, thus forming an H-shaped structure with four openings, where two openings of this device are located inside the housing with a constant flow of heat carrier fluid, and the other two are outside. The jumper can be located either outside or inside the housing with the heat carrier fluid and the valve can be positioned both outside and inside the housing, thus the two outlets on the outside form the inlet and outlet of the heat carrier fluid with the required characteristics, where the heat carrier fluid is moved by a circulation pump. The temperature is regulated by controlled mixing of the fluid from the housing and jumper (return from the regulated circuit) by means of a thermal head or other mechanism that moves the valve stem, which operates continuously in an opening-closing mode, changing the mixing ratio of the heat carrier fluid from the housing and the return circuit to achieve the required temperature in the circuit.Technical problem

[0005] The heating system has different temperatures for radiator heating and underfloor heating. Lowering the cost of the system without losing reliability and performance.Purpose

[0006] With the installation of an in-flow mixing unit in the heating system, the cost of the system is significantly reduced, and all tasks and possibilities are solved when installing a hydraulic separator, manifold and mixing unit with a three-way valve separately.Positive results

[0007] Regulation of the heat carrier temperature in the hydraulic separator directly by means of a stem movement; high system reliability due to significantly fewer fittings and shut-off and control valves provided in this system; low cost compared to other systems assembled from a manifold, hydraulic separator and mixing unit separately.Brief description of drawings

[0008] A schematic diagram of the invention is shown in Fig. 1 in section A-A, where the arrows indicate the directions of heat carrier fluid flow. Housing 1, heat carrier fluid inlet branch pipes from the heat source (supply) 2 and heat carrier fluid return branch pipe to the heat source (return) 3 are also shown, thus heat carrier fluid moves (flows) in the housing. Inside, the flow mixing unit is a device consisting of two heat carrier fluid supply branch pipes 4 to the system where the temperature needs to be lowered and controlled (underfloor heating), return branch pipe from the system 5, movable stem 6, valve plate 7 and a jumper between the branch pipes 8. The jumper 8 has a smaller diameter than branch pipes 4 and 5, thus forming an H-shape with 4 holes from pipes 4, 5 and 8, where two holes of this device are located inside the housing 1 with a constant flow of heat carrier, the other two are outside, and the jumper 8 itself can be located either outside or inside the housing with the heat carrier, thus the two outlets 4 and 5 outside form the inlet and outlet of the heat carrier with the necessary characteristics, where the heat carrier is moved by a circulation pump, and the temperature is regulated by controlled mixing of the liquid from the housing 1 and jumper 8 (return from the regulated circuit) by means of a thermal head or other mechanism, which moves the stem 6 of valve 7, which constantly operates in an opening-closing mode, changing the mixing ratio of the heat carrier fluid from the housing 1 and return 5 of the circuit to achieve the required temperature in the circuit after the hydraulic separator in the hydraulic separator directly. Instead of the valve plate 7, another design 9 (Fig. 2) is possible, using the stroke of the stem 6 to ensure complete closure of the jumper 8 and opening of the branch pipe 5 inside the flow of the hydraulic separator housing 1, thereby achieving complete redistribution of the flows. The invention is placed in a container 1 with a circular or square cross-section, in which the heat carrier flows. Various pipes for an air vent and a drain valve may also be provided on the housing with the invention installed in it, depending on the configuration. Let's consider an example of a simplified hydraulic separator without drain pipes and air vent (Fig. 3), where 1 is the housing, 2 and 3 are the supply and return branch pipes from the heat source, 4 and 5 are the supply and return branch pipes with adjustable parameters, 6 is the valve stem, 7 is the valve, 8 is the jumper, and 9 and 10 are supply and return branch pipes with fixed parameters depending on the parameters of the heat source. Thus, with this device, we obtain two different heat carrier fluid characteristics for different needs, for example, radiator heating and underfloor heating. Steel with or without an anti-corrosion coating, or stainless steel used in heating systems is the material used to manufacture the invention.
