Abstract
Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention relates to a narrow beam LED lamp with a floating deflector. More specifically, it comprises an LED lamp, models AR111 and AR70, with a narrow beam angle between 6° and 7° and a floating deflector to reduce glare.
[0002] This new embodiment allows the beam angle to be reduced and the light to be reflected towards the reflector in order to minimize glare through the lowered floating deflector arranged closely to the light source. In addition, it features a body with continuous geometry.BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
[0003] AR model lamps have beam angles of 12° and 24° and are divided into the AR111 and AR70 models, suitable for a variety of applications, particularly for creating scenic and prominent environments. The lamps are numbered based on their diameter, with the AR70 suitable for single-height ceilings up to 3 m, and the AR111 suitable for double-height ceilings.
[0004] AR lamps feature a configuration wherein the LED is hidden, and the light source cannot be seen in order to reduce glare.
[0005] However, the current embodiment of these lamp models allows for a beam of at least 24 degrees, not allowing for the generation of smaller aperture beams.
[0006] Thus, the present inventor, seeking to improve the product's embodiment and application, has developed a new design for AR111 and AR70 lamps that allows for a beam angle between 6° and 7°, and a floating deflector that minimizes glare. With a beam angle of 6° and 7° it is possible to have much more concentrated light in a given location compared to a 24° beam.
[0007] In research done on prior art, we identified several documents describing solutions applied to AR model LED lamps, wherein we can highlight the following documents:
[0008] EP3222901 (CMC Magnetics. 2015) describes a device having a light-emitting module provided in a lower section of a bowl-shaped main reflector section. A secondary reflector section is provided on the optical axis of the light-emitting device. The main reflector section is provided to receive a portion of the light emitted by the light-emitting device and the portion of the light reflected by the secondary reflector section. The light reflected by the main reflector section is emitted by the aperture portion and is equal to or is greater than 80% of the total output light emitted by the aperture portion.
[0009] CN205173998 (Wang Jinxia. 2014) describes LED lamps, specifically claims of a multi-surface luminous LED lamp vertical heat sink, comprising a reflector shade, radiator, AR111 base and lamp holder.
[0010] EP2276973 (Light Engine. 2009) describes a reflector placed within a main housing, and a top rim thermally coupled to one end of the main housing. A heat-conducting body is positioned facing a front side of the reflector, where the heat-conducting body comprises a heat pipe thermally coupled to the top rim. An LED is thermally coupled to the heat-conducting body, where the LED is positioned facing directly towards the front of the reflector such that the light emitted by the LED is directed towards the front of the reflector.
[0011] These documents cited in the prior art describe embodiments forms applied to AR model LED lamps equipped with their own embodiments, so that none of the cited documents presents an embodiment that allows the angle of the light beam to be reduced and the description of a floating deflector that improves the glare effect.
[0012] Thus, the object of the present invention is a new embodiment applied to models AR111 and AR70 LED lamps, with a closed beam angle of between 6° and 7°, and a floating deflector to reduce glare.SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0013] The present invention features a narrow beam LED lamp with a floating deflector providing a lowered deflector closer to the light source to reduce glare.
[0014] The present invention features a narrow beam LED lamp with a floating deflector that provides an opening angle of 6° to 7° degrees, according to the AR lamp model.

[0017] The LED lamp with narrow beam and floating deflector, object of the present invention, comprises a body (10) made of ABS equipped with connectors (11) that receives a reflector (20) equipped with a floating deflector (30).
[0018] The reflector (20), made of polycarbonate with a metal surface treatment, is multifaceted and has a thin edge (21) that overlaps the body (10) when installed, and the reflector (20) is fixed to the body (10) using silicone.
[0019] The floating deflector (30), made of polycarbonate with a metal surface treatment, is arranged in the central portion of the reflector (20) and has a reduced length. The LED board (40) is arranged between the reflector (20) and the deflector (30).
[0020] Thus, the light emitted by the LED (40) is reflected on the deflector (30), which reduces glare. Whenever the light is reflected, there is a reduction in glare.
[0021] The deflector (30) is equipped with a base (31) that fits next to the reflector (20) and on the LED board (40), it has a translucent conical body (32) that allows the passage of the light beams generated by the LED and an upper circular structure (33) that allows the reflection of the light beams on the reflector (20). The deflector (30) is positioned closer to the LED board (40) which reduces glare.
[0022] The LED board (40) is COB encapsulation technology that uses multiple LED chips packaged together, forming a module with uniform lighting, so that LED (40) has 24 internal cores.
[0023] The LED lamp with a closed angle and floating deflector allows the light emitted by the LED (40) to be reflected on the floating deflector (30) and then reflected on the multifaceted reflector (20), so that with this embodiment it is possible to achieve a light beam of 6° and 7° degrees.
[0024] Therefore, the LED lamp claims the main points: An opening angle of 6° to 7° degrees, depending on the AR lamp model; Fluid and clean design with continuous geometry, with a smooth transition between body and reflector; Exclusive lens with lowered deflector (30) closer to the light source to reduce glare.
[0025] Figures 10, 11 and 12 show the application of the claimed embodiment in the AR70 lamp model, detailing the embodiment of the reflector (20), deflector (30) and LED board (40), applied next to the body (10). In this lamp model, with a smaller diameter, the opening beam reaches up to 7° degrees.
[0026] Figures 7 and 12 show the lamps, models AR70 and AR111, with the arrangement of the driver (50) for activating the LED set (40), said drive (50) having a compact size that facilitates its installation and application together with the lamp.
[0027] LED lamps, depending on their embodiment, result in an opening angle of 6° to 7° degrees, and it can also reach angles higher or lower than those highlighted, depending on the needs of use and application in the market.
