[0001] The invention relates to a waste collection container, and more particularly to a waste collection container carrying additional bins.

[0002] It is known to use, for private individuals and professionals, overhead waste collection containers to store their waste prior to collection by a suitable vehicle.

[0003] Typically, waste containers are wheeled bins as defined in standard EN 840:2020. In particular, 2 wheels bins have volumes of less than 500 liters, typically ranging from 60 liters to 400 liters, or 120 liters to 370 liters. Optionally, 2 wheels bins can have a third wheel on the front of a lower wall of the bin. Typically, 4 wheels bins have volumes less than or equal to 1700 liters, with volumes typically ranging from 400 liters to 1700 liters, or from 500 liters to 1100 liters.

[0004] In order to ensure selective waste sorting by a user, it is possible to provide several waste collection containers in order to create several waste collection flows. However, this leads to the creation of a large volume of different containers, even for small-volume waste streams. [0016] We now refer to figures 1 to 4 illustrating a holding device 2 for additional waste collection bins (herein after named "additional bins") intended to be arranged in a waste collection container (herein after named "container"). The holding device 2 allows to place one or several additional bins inside a waste collection container, allowing to create several waste flows for selective sorting by forming waste storage sub-volumes. The additional bins are attached to the holding device 2 and placed into a waste collection volume of the container.

[0017] The container comprises a tank delimiting a main waste storage volume, the tank being formed by at least side walls and a bottom wall attached to the side walls. The tank comprises an opening intended to be closed by a lid, substantially square in shape (this shape may vary, for example by being rectangular for large-volume waste collection bins), at its upper end, in the vertical direction. In addition, the tank may comprise a flange on a top edge of the container delimiting the opening, which provides mechanical reinforcement for tank, particularly for lifting when emptying the container. The holding device 2 main body 4 comprises a second side wall 10 intended to extend along an outer face of a side wall of a container. Once again, this second side wall 10 allows to stabilize the holding device 2 on the container, and provides a support surface for the holding device 2 in regard of the container when the additional bin carried by the holding device 2 is loaded with waste. The force exerted by the weight of the additional bin will be partially supported by the interaction between the second side wall 10 and a wall of the container. For example, the second side wall 10 is intended to extend along an outer face of a side wall of container over a length of at least 100 mm and typically comprised between 120 and 160 mm and even between 130 and 150 mm. Preferably, two pairs of two additional ribs 10' are placed on ends of the second side wall 10, preferably in the first quarter of the second side wall 10 from each end of the latter.

1. Holding device (2) for additional waste collection bins (24) intended to be arranged in a waste collection container (40, 46), the holding device (2) being formed as a linear profile and being intended to be arranged on only one top edge of a wall of the waste collection container (40, 46), the holding device (2) comprising a main body (4) designed so as to extend around the top edge of a waste collection container (40, 46), the holding device (2) being intended be supported by only one top edge of the wall of a waste collection container (40, 46).

Holding device (2) according to claim 1, wherein the main body (4) comprises a first side wall (6) intended to extend along an inner face of a side wall of a waste collection container (40, 46), the first side wall (6) comprising at least one first receiving element (8) for at least one additional bin (24).

3. Holding device (2) according to claim 2, wherein the first receiving element (8) comprises at least one slide (8') provided on the first side wall (6).

4. Holding device (2) according to any of claims 2 or 3, wherein the first side wall (6) is intended to extend along an inner face of a side wall of a waste collection container (40, 46) over a length of at least 100 mm and typically comprised between 120 and 160 mm.

Holding device (2) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the main body (4) comprises a second side wall (10) intended to extend along an outer face of a side wall of a waste collection container (40, 46) over a length of at least 100 mm and typically comprised between 120 and 160 mm.

6. Holding device (2) according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the main body (4) comprises a top wall (12) extending from the first side wall (6) to the second side wall (10) and intended to cap a top edge of a waste collection container (40, 46).

7. Holding device (2) according to the preceding claim, wherein the top wall (12) comprises at least one second receiving element (14) for receiving at least one additional bin (24).
