Description

[0001] The present invention relates to a furnishing element comprising a lighting system. In particular, the present invention relates to a chest of drawers comprising the lighting system.

[0002] In general, a piece of furniture can include a lighting system suitable for illuminating it. Such a lighting system can be mounted inside the piece of furniture and may include various types of cables and / or electrical contacts.

[0003] A typical problem with such lighting systems can be the presence of electrical sliding contacts, which can cause a high operating noise of the lighting system of the furnishing element.

[0004] Another typical problem with such lighting systems can be the presence of power cables, which can be damaged as a result of prolonged use of the fixture, especially the movable part. Furthermore, the power cables can cause space constraints due to their size.

[0005] Another problem with such lighting systems is related to the energy storage element. This energy storage element can, for example, be designed as a battery pack suitable for powering the lighting system. The problem with such a battery pack is that it must be regularly removed from the fixture to be connected to the mains power supply during recharging phases; after charging, the battery pack must be reattached to the fixture to power the lighting system again. In some embodiments, the energy storage element can include rechargeable batteries that can be powered via the mains. However, such rechargeable batteries tend to weaken after a limited number of usage cycles and therefore need to be replaced.

[0006] The object underlying the present invention is to provide a device element comprising a lighting system which is structurally and functionally designed in such a way as to at least partially overcome one or more of the disadvantages mentioned above with reference to the prior art.

[0007] In particular, one object of the present invention is to provide a device element with a lighting system comprising an energy storage element which has a minimal power loss due to the usage cycles, i.e. an energy storage element which can withstand a high number of charge and discharge cycles without any loss of performance.

[0008] Another object of the invention is to provide a furnishing element with a lighting system in which the number of power cables is limited.

[0009] Another object of the invention is to provide a furnishing element with a lighting system in which it is not necessary to remove and reinstall the energy storage element for recharging.

[0010] Another object of the invention is to provide a furnishing element with a lighting system that is particularly quiet.

[0011] Another objective of the invention is to provide a lighting system that can be easily retrofitted to various types of furnishing elements already available on the market.

[0012] The above-mentioned tasks and objectives are at least partially solved by an inventive device with a lighting system having one or more of the features listed in the following claims.

[0013] In a first aspect, the present invention relates to a device comprising a movable element, a stationary element, and a lighting system. The movable element comprises an interior space and is movable between a closed and an open position. The lighting system comprises a lighting device configured to illuminate the interior space of the movable element, a power supply device, and an energy storage element. The energy storage element comprises a circuit including a supercapacitor. The energy storage element is connected to the movable element such that the energy storage element is in a charging position when the movable element is in the closed position and in an operating position when the movable element is in the open position. The power supply provides electrical energy to the energy storage element when the energy storage element is in the charging position. When the energy storage element is in the operating position, it provides electrical energy to the lighting device.

[0014] Thanks to the features mentioned above, it is possible to obtain a furnishing element with a lighting system that incorporates an energy storage element with a particularly fast charge and discharge cycle compared to a conventional battery pack or standard rechargeable batteries. The presence of a supercapacitor in the energy storage element's circuit enables high specific power output. The lighting system is therefore particularly suitable when the energy storage element's operating and / or charging time is on the order of seconds. Furthermore, its use is especially appropriate when the lighting device is designed as an LED.

[0015] The presence of the supercapacitor in the circuit of the energy storage element used in the lighting system of the device according to the invention makes it possible to increase the number of charge and discharge cycles compared to a conventional battery pack or conventional rechargeable batteries. The energy storage element can preferably withstand up to approximately 75,000 charge and discharge cycles without any loss of performance.

[0016] When the movable element is in the closed position, the energy storage element is preferably in the charging position, does not provide any electrical energy to the lighting system and receives electrical energy from the supply device.

[0017] When the movable element is in the open position, the energy storage element is preferably in the operating position and receives no electrical energy from the supply device and provides electrical energy to the lighting system.

[0018] When the energy storage element is in the charging position, the power supply device preferably provides electrical energy to the supercapacitor.

[0019] When the energy storage element is in the operating position, the supercapacitor of the lighting device preferably supplies energy. The energy storage element is preferably rigidly connected to the moving element, for example via a screw connection. This allows for a particularly stable connection between the elements and ensures that the energy storage element is held firmly in position on the moving element.

[0020] In a preferred embodiment, the stationary element has a substantially box-shaped body. Preferably, the stationary element comprises a back wall, a lower wall, an upper wall, a first side wall, and a second side wall. Advantageously, these walls define a housing for the stationary element, the housing being configured to at least partially contain the movable element.

[0021] Preferably, the rear wall of the stationary element extends along a vertical and a horizontal direction. Preferably, the vertical direction runs parallel to the direction of gravity. Advantageously, the vertical and horizontal directions are perpendicular to each other.

[0022] In a preferred embodiment, the movable element has a substantially box-shaped body. Preferably, the movable element comprises a plurality of components joined together to form the movable element. Preferably, the movable element includes a front wall, a rear wall, a bottom wall, a first side wall, and a second side wall. Advantageously, the walls define the interior of the movable element. Preferably, the interior is suitable for accommodating objects, clothing, etc. The components are, for example, made of a single material or of a single type of material. Alternatively, the components are, for example, made of different materials. The side walls of the movable element are, for example, made of steel and / or wood and / or glass. The lighting device is attached, for example, to one side wall or to both side walls, for example, integrated into or attached to the side wall.

[0023] The back panel of the movable element is made of steel and / or wood and / or glass, for example.

[0024] The side wall of the movable element, for example both side walls, comprises various components or sections. The side wall might include, for example, a side wall section and a guide section, such as a guide, above or below the side wall section.

[0025] The lighting device is located, for example, on any component of the moving element.

[0026] Preferably, the rear wall of the movable element extends along the vertical and horizontal directions.

[0027] Preferably, the movable element can be displaced along a sliding direction.

[0028] The sliding direction should ideally be perpendicular to both the vertical and horizontal directions.

[0029] Preferably, the movable element is in the closed position when its front wall abuts the fixed element. Preferably, the movable element is in the open position when its front wall does not abut the fixed element. In other words, the movable element is in the open position when its front wall is spaced away from the fixed element.

[0030] In some embodiments, a movable element in the closed position is understood to mean that its front wall closes a respective opening of the fixed element which is arranged at the level of the movable element, and a movable element in the open position is understood to mean that its front wall does not close the respective opening of the fixed element.

[0031] Optionally, the movable element includes a number of lighting devices.

[0032] The supercapacitor ideally has a capacitance between 5 and 15 Farads, preferably around 10 Farads.

[0033] According to a preferred embodiment, the circuit of the energy storage element comprises a plurality of supercapacitors arranged in parallel.

[0034] Thanks to the above-mentioned features, it is possible to achieve a very good compromise between storing a sufficient amount of electrical energy to power the lighting device and keeping production costs down.

[0035] Preferably, the circuit of the energy storage element comprises two supercapacitors arranged in parallel, each of which has a capacitance between 5 and 15 Farad, preferably about 10 Farad.

[0036] The applicant has determined that this design makes it possible to supply a pair of lighting devices for a furnishing element particularly efficiently, thereby optimizing charging times, reducing production costs and minimizing the space required for the energy storage element.

[0037] In a preferred embodiment, the device element comprises a plurality of movable elements. When these movable elements are in the closed position, they are advantageously arranged such that they are aligned along the vertical direction, essentially forming a column. This column is advantageously arranged along the vertical direction.

[0038] According to a preferred embodiment, a separate energy storage element is attached to each movable element. Preferably, each movable element includes a separate lighting device. In this way, it is possible to supply electrical energy to each energy storage element when the energy storage element is in the charging position, and each energy storage element can supply electrical energy to the respective lighting device when it is in the operating position. This makes the device element according to the invention particularly versatile.

[0039] In a second aspect, the present invention relates to a furnishing element designed as a chest of drawers.

[0040] In this case, the movable element is designed as a drawer, and the fixed element is designed as a drawer housing structure. The side panels and the back panel of the drawer can also be referred to as "side panels" and "back panel," respectively.

[0041] The chest of drawers comprises the drawer, the drawer housing, and the lighting system. The drawer has an interior space and can be moved between a closed and an open position. The lighting system comprises the lighting device designed to illuminate the interior of the drawer, the power supply device, and the energy storage element. The energy storage element comprises the circuit containing the supercapacitor. The energy storage element is connected to the drawer such that it is in a charging position when the drawer is closed and in an operating position when the drawer is open. The power supply device provides electrical energy to the energy storage element when it is in the charging position. When the energy storage element is in the operating position, it provides electrical energy to the lighting device.

[0042] When the drawers of the chest of drawers are in the closed position, they are preferably arranged so that they are aligned along the vertical direction, so that they essentially form a column, and this column is advantageously arranged along the vertical direction.

[0043] The use of an energy storage element comprising a supercapacitor proves particularly advantageous when the piece of furniture is designed as a chest of drawers. In this case, the opening times of the drawer, and thus the corresponding on-times of the lighting system, are generally relatively short, for example, on the order of seconds. Furthermore, the closing times of the drawer and the corresponding charging times of the energy storage element can also be relatively short, for example, on the order of seconds. The energy storage element comprising a supercapacitor is therefore efficient thanks to its high specific power.

[0044] Preferably, the drawer is in the closed position when its front wall abuts the drawer housing of the chest of drawers. Preferably, the drawer is in the open position when its front wall does not abut the drawer housing of the chest of drawers. In other words, the drawer is in the open position when its front wall is spaced away from the drawer housing of the chest of drawers.

[0045] In other words, a drawer in the closed position means that the front wall of the drawer closes a respective opening in the drawer housing structure located at the level of the drawer, and a drawer in the open position means that the front wall of the drawer does not close the respective opening in the drawer housing structure.

[0046] The drawer preferably comprises a plurality of components that are assembled to form the drawer. The drawer preferably comprises side walls, a bottom wall, a front wall, and a back wall. In a further aspect, the inventive device is designed as a household appliance. This household appliance preferably comprises the fixed element designed as a support structure and the movable element designed as a shelf. The shelf is preferably displaceable relative to the support structure. The household appliance is, for example, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, an oven, etc.

[0047] In another aspect, the inventive furnishing element is designed as furniture. Preferably, this furniture comprises a fixed element designed as a frame and a movable element designed as a shelf. Preferably, the shelf is extendable from the frame. The furniture is, for example, a console, a door leaf, etc.

[0048] In at least one of the aforementioned aspects, the present invention may have at least one or more of the features described below.

[0049] In a preferred embodiment, the energy storage element is arranged at the level of the rear wall of the movable element and is placed between the rear wall of the movable element and the rear wall of the stationary element.

[0050] By utilizing the space between the rear wall of the movable element and the rear wall of the fixed element, the space requirements of the energy storage element can be optimized particularly efficiently. This also allows for easy retrofitting of the lighting system according to the invention to various types of furnishing elements already available on the market.

[0051] The use of an energy storage element comprising a supercapacitor makes it possible to obtain an energy storage element with particularly low weight and space requirements.

[0052] Preferably, the width of the energy storage element is less than the distance between the rear wall of the fixed element and the rear wall of the movable element in the closed position. The width of the energy storage element is defined along the sliding direction. In this way, the shape of the energy storage element can be adapted particularly easily to the space available between the rear wall of the movable element and the rear wall of the fixed element.

[0053] In a preferred embodiment, the energy storage element has a body with a flat and elongated shape. This makes it easier to adapt the energy storage element to the space available between the rear wall of the movable element and the rear wall of the stationary element.

[0054] For example, one longitudinal axis of the energy storage element runs parallel to a plane defined by the rear wall of the movable element.

[0055] The energy storage element is, for example, horizontally aligned with the rear wall of the movable element. The longitudinal axis of the energy storage element is, for example, horizontally aligned with the plane defined by the rear wall of the movable element.

[0056] The energy storage element is, for example, vertically aligned with the rear wall of the movable element. The longitudinal axis of the energy storage element is, for example, vertically aligned with the plane defined by the rear wall of the movable element.

[0057] In the case of a piece of furniture designed as a chest of drawers, the back panel of the drawer generally does not abut the back panel of the drawer housing for structural reasons, as drawer manufacturers must adapt the drawer dimensions to the dimensions of the drawer housing. Therefore, there is generally unused space between the back panel of the drawer and the back panel of the drawer housing in these chests of drawers. This space can be utilized by positioning the energy storage element of the invention in this space, thus optimizing the space requirement. This allows for easy retrofitting of the lighting system of the invention to various types of chests of drawers already on the market.

[0058] In a preferred embodiment, the lighting system of the furnishing element comprises a power connection system designed to transfer electrical energy from the supply device to the energy storage element.

[0059] Preferably, the power connection system comprises a busbar designed to transfer electrical energy from the supply device to the energy storage element.

[0060] For the sake of simplicity, the power rail will also be referred to as the "rail" in the following text.

[0061] The rail preferably has a substantially straight shape. The rail is advantageously arranged along the vertical direction. In this way, electrical energy can be transferred to the energy storage element connected to each moving element.

[0062] The power rail allows energy storage elements connected to individual moving parts to be powered without requiring a separate power supply for each element. This reduces the space required and the number of cables in the lighting system of the fixture. Furthermore, it eliminates the need for power cables between the rail and the energy storage element, which could be damaged or break due to the movement of the moving part to which the energy storage element is attached.

[0063] Preferably, the power supply device provides electrical energy to the busbar, for example via a power cable.

[0064] The busbar advantageously comprises a pair of copper traces. This pair of copper traces preferably extends parallel to the vertical direction.

[0065] The power supply device is advantageously connected to the power grid, for example via a power cable, and provides electrical energy to the rail or directly to the energy storage element. Preferably, the power supply device provides electrical energy at 24 volts. In some alternative embodiments, the power supply device provides electrical energy at 12 volts.

[0066] Optionally, the power supply unit can be configured as a control driver platform for electrical and / or electronic devices. These devices can be, for example, lighting devices, especially those using LEDs.

[0067] The power supply unit is preferably mounted on the rear wall of the fixed element. This makes it possible to further reduce the space required for the lighting system.

[0068] In a preferred embodiment, the device element comprises a pair of contact terminals.

[0069] The pair of contact terminals is advantageously designed to receive electrical energy from the supply device. Preferably, the pair of contact terminals receives electrical energy from the power connection system, and even more preferably from the busbar.

[0070] In this embodiment, when the movable element is in the closed position, the energy storage element is in the charging position, and the contact terminals connect to the busbar, which supplies electrical energy to the supercapacitor. A particular advantage is that each contact terminal connects to a specific copper track of the busbar. When the movable element is in the open position, the energy storage element is in the operating position, and the contact terminals do not connect to the busbar (i.e., they are spaced away from it), and the supercapacitor supplies electrical energy to the lighting device.

[0071] The contact terminals are advantageously of the spring-loaded type. This ensures a particularly quiet transition between the charging and operating positions of the energy storage element.

[0072] According to a preferred embodiment, the busbar runs parallel to the first or second side wall of the stationary element and is arranged on the side wall of the stationary element.

[0073] Thanks to these features, the position of the track can be easily adjusted depending on the distance between the back of the fixed element and the back of the movable element when closed. Manufacturers of furniture components, such as dressers, might produce movable elements of different dimensions that are to be mounted on the same fixed element. Therefore, it may be necessary to move the track further away from the back of the fixed element if the movable element is short, or closer to the back of the fixed element if the movable element is long. Because the track is positioned near the side panel, these adjustments are made easier.

[0074] The rail is advantageously positioned at such a distance from the rear wall of the stationary element that the energy storage element contacts the current rail, so that the energy storage element is in the charging position when the movable element is in the closing position. Preferably, the rail is positioned at such a distance from the rear wall of the stationary element that the contact terminals of the energy storage element contact the current rail, so that the energy storage element is in the charging position when the movable element is in the closing position.

[0075] The rail should ideally be connected to the side wall in such a way that it is aligned in the vertical direction.

[0076] The rail can preferably be attached to the side wall using a screw connection.

[0077] Preferably, the pair of contact terminals of the energy storage element is positioned at one end of the energy storage element's body. This allows for particularly easy interaction with the busbar arranged on the side wall of the stationary element.

[0078] In alternative embodiments, the power connection system may have other configurations, for example a contact, or the copper cables of the supply device may be directly connected to the contact terminals of the storage element.

[0079] According to a preferred embodiment, the lighting device is designed as an LED and arranged on the movable element.

[0080] This ensures particularly uniform illumination of the interior of the movable element. Ideally, each side wall of the movable element comprises a separate LED. The LED is preferably attached to at least one side wall of the movable element. In some embodiments, the LED is preferably arranged on the rear wall of the movable element.

[0081] If the moving element is made of metal, the LED is preferably positioned in a recess in the side wall of the moving element. If the moving element is made of glass or plexiglass, the LED is positioned in the bottom wall of the moving element.

[0082] According to a preferred embodiment, the device element comprises a power distribution system designed to transport electrical energy from the energy storage element to the lighting device.

[0083] Thanks to these features, it is possible to distribute electrical energy to the lighting device in a particularly flexible manner.

[0084] The power distribution system preferably includes a power cable that connects the energy storage element to the lighting device. If multiple lighting devices are present in the movable element, each lighting device can be connected to the energy storage element by its own power cable. This allows for a particularly optimized arrangement of the cables in the space between the rear wall of the movable element and the rear wall of the stationary element.

[0085] Advantageously, the distribution system includes a power cable attached to the moving element. This prevents damage to the power cable during movement of the moving element between the open and closed positions.

[0086] In a preferred embodiment, the lighting system of the fixture comprises a power supply cable connecting the power supply unit to the mains power supply, a power cable connecting the power supply unit to the distribution system, preferably the busbar, and a power cable connecting the energy storage element to the lighting device. Therefore, there are no power cables that move due to the movement of the movable element, so the power cables of such a lighting system are not subject to damage caused by the movement of the movable element. This makes the lighting system particularly reliable, compact, and wear-resistant.

[0087] The furnishing element preferably includes a guidance system.

[0088] The movable element is preferably displaceable via the guide system along the sliding direction between the open and closed positions. This allows the energy storage element to be moved particularly easily between the operating and charging positions.

[0089] The guide system preferably comprises a pair of grooves and a pair of supports. Advantageously, the movable element can encompass this pair of grooves, and the fixed element can encompass this pair of supports. Each groove can ideally interact with its respective support to receive it. The pair of grooves and the pair of supports enable the movable element to move particularly smoothly.

[0090] Preferably, the pair of grooves is formed on the side walls of the movable element. Preferably, the pair of supports is mounted on the side walls of the stationary element. Ideally, each support is mounted on a side wall of the stationary element and each groove is formed on a side wall of the movable element. This increases the stability of the guide system.

[0091] Preferably, each groove and each support runs parallel to the sliding direction.

[0092] Advantageously, the grooves of the guide system extend along a respective lower edge of the side walls of the movable element. Preferably, this edge runs parallel to the sliding direction.

[0093] In alternative embodiments, the grooves of the guide system can be located on an upper edge of the side walls of the movable element. Preferably, the guide system comprises one pair of supports and one pair of grooves corresponding to the number of movable elements of the fixture. For example, if there are two movable elements, the guide system can comprise two pairs of supports and two pairs of grooves.

[0094] In some embodiments, the guide system may include roller or ball guides.

[0095] In alternative embodiments, the movable element can comprise the pair of supports and the fixed element can comprise the pair of grooves.

[0096] The features and advantages of the invention are clarified by the detailed description of a preferred embodiment, which is illustrated by way of example and without limitation with reference to the accompanying drawings; they show: Fig. 1 and 2 a perspective front view of a furnishing element in which a movable element is in a closed or open position; Fig. 3 a perspective rear view of the furnishing element, in which the movable element is in the closed position; Fig. 4 and 5 a perspective rear view of the furnishing element, in which the movable element is in a closed or open position; Fig. 6 a perspective front view of the furnishing element, in which a movable element is in the open position; Fig. 7 a perspective rear view of the furnishing element, in which two movable elements are in the closed position; Fig. 8 a detail of the energy storage element.

[0097] In the examples in the figures, 100 denotes a total of one furnishing element designed according to the present invention.

[0098] The furnishing element 100 comprises a movable element 1 and a fixed element 2. In particular, the furnishing element 100 can comprise two movable elements 1 and one fixed element 2 in the examples shown in the figures.

[0099] The movable element 1 is between a closed position, as in the example of Fig. 1 to recognize, and a disclosure, as in the example of Fig. 2 to be recognized, movable. The movable element 1 comprises an interior space 10.

[0100] The furnishing element 100 includes a lighting system comprising a lighting device 6 designed to illuminate the interior 10 of the movable element 1.

[0101] The lighting system includes a power supply unit 4.

[0102] The lighting system includes an energy storage element 5, which contains a circuit that includes a supercapacitor.

[0103] The supercapacitor can have a capacitance between 5 and 15 farads, preferably about 10 farads. Preferably, the energy storage element's circuit comprises two supercapacitors arranged in parallel, each with a capacitance of about 10 farads.

[0104] The energy storage element 5 is rigidly connected to the movable element 1, preferably via a screw connection. When the movable element 1 is in the closed position, the energy storage element 5 is in a charging position, as shown in the examples of Fig. 4 and 7 This can be seen, and when the movable element 1 is in the open position, the energy storage element 5 is in an operating position, as in the examples of Fig. 5 and 6 can be seen.

[0105] The supply device 4 is designed to provide electrical energy to the energy storage element 5 when the energy storage element 5 is in the charging position.

[0106] When the energy storage element 5 is in the operating position, it provides electrical energy to the lighting device 6.

[0107] When the movable element 1 is in the closed position, the energy storage element 5 is in the charging position, does not supply any electrical energy to the lighting system and receives electrical energy from the supply device 4.

[0108] When the movable element 1 is in the open position, the energy storage element 5 is in the operating position, receives no electrical energy from the supply device 4 and provides electrical energy to the lighting system.

[0109] When the energy storage element 5 is in the charging position, the power supply device 4 provides electrical energy to the supercapacitor. When the energy storage element 5 is in the operating position, the supercapacitor provides energy to the lighting device 6.

[0110] The stationary element 2 has a substantially box-shaped body and comprises a rear wall 21, a lower wall 22, an upper wall 23, a first side wall 24, and a second side wall 25. These walls 21-25 define a housing 26 of the stationary element 2. This housing 26 is designed to at least partially contain the movable element 1.

[0111] The rear wall 21 of the fixed element extends along a vertical direction Y and a horizontal direction X.

[0112] The movable element 1 has an essentially box-shaped body and comprises a front wall 11, a rear wall 12, a lower wall 13, a first side wall 14, and a second side wall 15. These walls 11-15 define the interior space 10 of the movable element 1.

[0113] The rear wall 12 of the movable element 1 extends along the vertical direction Y and the horizontal direction X.

[0114] In the examples of Fig. 3-7 For the sake of clarity, some plates of the fixed element 2 are not shown.

[0115] The movable element 1 can be displaced along a sliding direction Z. The sliding direction Z is perpendicular to the vertical direction Y and to the horizontal direction X.

[0116] When the movable element 1 is in the closed position, the front wall 12 of this movable element 1 abuts the fixed element 2, as in the examples of Fig. 1 ,3 , 4 and 7 The housing 26 of the stationary element 2 can preferably be designed to completely contain the movable element 1, with the exception of its front wall 11.

[0117] When the movable element 1 is in the open position, the front wall 12 of the movable element 1 does not touch the fixed element 2, i.e., the front wall 12 of the movable element 1 is spaced away from the fixed element 2, as in the examples of Fig. 2 and 5 can be seen.

[0118] When the movable element 1 is in the closed position, its front wall 11 closes a respective opening 27 of the fixed element 2, which is located at the same height as the movable element 1. When the movable element 1 is in the open position, its front wall 11 does not close the respective opening 27 of the fixed element 2.

[0119] When the movable elements 1 are in the closed position, they are arranged so that they are aligned along the vertical direction Y, essentially forming a column, and this column is advantageously arranged along the vertical direction Y, as in the example of Fig. 1 and 7 can be seen.

[0120] In the example of Fig. 7 It is also shown that each movable element 1 is connected to a respective energy storage element 5 and each movable element 1 comprises a respective lighting device 6.

[0121] In the examples shown in the figures, the furnishing element 100 is designed as a chest of drawers. In this case, the fixed element 2 is designed as a drawer housing structure, and the movable element 1 is designed as a drawer. In the case of the drawer, the side walls 14, 15 and the back wall 12 can also be referred to as "side panels" and "back panel," respectively. When the chest of drawers is in the closed position, it can be arranged so that it is aligned along the vertical direction Y, essentially forming a column, and this column is advantageously arranged along the vertical direction Y.

[0122] In the example of Fig. 1 The drawer is shown in the closed position, i.e., when the front wall of the drawer meets the drawer frame of the dresser. Conversely, the drawer is shown in the open position, as in the example of Fig. 2 This is shown when the front wall of the drawer does not meet the drawer housing of the chest of drawers. In other words, a drawer in the closed position means that the front wall of the drawer covers a corresponding opening in the drawer housing located at the same level as the drawer, and a drawer in the open position means that the front wall of the drawer does not cover a corresponding opening in the drawer housing.
