Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates initially to a system of lights according to claim 1.
[0002] The applicant has been manufacturing luminaires for illuminating building surfaces for many decades. Such luminaires are referred to as building luminaires or architectural luminaires. They can, for example, be arranged on a first wall of a building and illuminate a second wall of the same building. This also includes areas of a building to be illuminated, such as works of art or pathways. In particular, the invention relates to luminaires for the homogeneous illumination of building surfaces or areas of building surfaces.
[0003] The applicant manufactures, in particular, luminaires that generate white light of a predetermined or predeterminable color temperature. These luminaires may comprise one or more LEDs, and optionally one or more LED clusters. An LED cluster within the meaning of the present patent application is an assembly of two or more LEDs that are arranged directly adjacent to one another and provide a point-like or nearly point-like light source.
[0004] Luminaires of the applicant in the prior art typically comprise a luminaire housing and a circuit board on which at least one LED is mounted. Each luminaire has a focusing optic, such as a collimator or a reflector, into which the LED shines. In the case of a reflector, it is designed such that the desired light distribution is generated as a result of a specific reflection behavior. The collimator is designed such that the desired light distribution is generated as a result of a specific refractive or total internal reflection behavior at optical interfaces. Each focusing optic is assigned a precise target position for the light source, i.e., for the LED or for the LED cluster. The LED must be positioned at a specific location relative to the focusing optic in order to generate the desired light distribution.
[0005] In the case of a reflector designed as a parabolic mirror, which serves to produce parallel light, it is known, for example, to arrange the light source at the focal point of the reflector.
[0006] In the focusing optics of interest here, the optical interfaces used for reflection or light steering are geometrically far more complicated and complex than those of a parabolic mirror. These optical interfaces are freeform surfaces designed using complex simulation calculations.
[0007] The applicant also develops and markets luminaires in which different types of LEDs are arranged on a circuit board. For example, the applicant manufactures luminaires designated as TW luminaires (tunable white luminaires). These luminaires incorporate at least two different LEDs that emit white light with different color temperatures. The two LEDs can be dimmed relative to each other using an electronic control. The combined light output, i.e., the sum of the two luminous fluxes, can be white light with a variable, adjustable color temperature. For example, one LED can emit cool white light at a high color temperature, and a second LED can emit warm white light at a low color temperature. By dimming the two LEDs relative to each other, a combined light output with a desired color temperature can be set between the color temperatures of the two white-light LEDs.
[0008] To achieve a homogeneous color distribution of light across the building surface to be illuminated, good mixing of the light is necessary. In the applicant's light mixing concept, a light mixing box is used, consisting of a multitude of mirrored walls of, for example, an octahedral cylindrical body.
[0009] Further so-called RGB luminaires of the applicant's prior art provide that LEDs of different colors are arranged in the luminaire, e.g., a red LED, a green LED, and a blue LED. These LEDs can also be dimmed relative to each other, and any desired color point can be set as a result of electronic control of the LEDs and corresponding dimming.
[0010] Even with these RGB lights, light mixing is desirable in order to achieve a homogeneous color mix of the light distribution on the building wall to be illuminated.
[0011] Based on the described state of the art, the object of the invention is to simplify the manufacturing of different luminaires that use different LED light drives.
[0012] The invention solves this problem with the features of claim 1.
[0013] According to the invention, a system is provided comprising a first luminaire and a second luminaire. Each of the luminaires serves to illuminate a building surface.
[0014] The first luminaire comprises a first housing, a first circuit board, a first focusing optic, in particular a reflector arrangement with at least one reflector shell, and an LED or a plurality of LEDs. The focusing optic, which is designed to receive the light emitted by the LED or the light emitted by the multiple LEDs and to direct and / or reflect the received light, serves to generate a specific light distribution. To enable the focusing optic to generate the desired light distribution, a target position for the at least one LED is assigned to the focusing optic. The luminaire is thus designed such that the LED is positioned on a circuit board, and the circuit board is fixed to or relative to the housing, in such a way that the LED is positioned exactly at the target position. As described above, such a position can, for example, be a focal point of a reflector. In the case of the specially shaped focusing optics under consideration, e.g. reflectors which have a freeform surface, the term used in technical terms is not a focal point, but rather, in accordance with the invention, a target position.
[0015] It is clear that if the LED or multiple LEDs are not positioned exactly at the intended location, the desired light distribution cannot be achieved due to altered light guidance or reflection behavior caused by the focusing optics. Therefore, precise positioning of the light source at the intended location is of paramount importance.
[0016] The first luminaire comprises an LED and a focusing optic, or an LED cluster and a focusing optic, where the LED cluster comprises multiple LEDs. Alternatively, the first luminaire can also have multiple LEDs and multiple focusing optics, or multiple LED clusters and multiple focusing optics. If the first luminaire has multiple focusing optics, each of the multiple focusing optics can be assigned its own target position for a light source, and each of the multiple target positions can contain one or more LEDs.
[0017] The LED, positioned in the desired location within the focusing optics, emits light within a specific spectral range. If several LEDs in the first luminaire are grouped into an LED cluster, these LEDs emit the same or a similar spectrum. Mixing the light emitted by the LED or by the multiple LEDs is not necessary in the first luminaire before the light is directed to the focusing optics.
[0018] The system according to the invention also comprises a second light fixture. Only the combination of a first light fixture with a second light fixture constitutes a system according to the invention.
[0019] The second luminaire comprises a second housing and a second focusing optic. The second housing is identical in construction to the first housing, and the second focusing optic is identical in construction to the first focusing optic. Although the patent application refers to a first housing for the first luminaire and a second housing for the second luminaire, they are in fact identical. The same applies to the focusing optic, which is identical in both luminaires. While the first focusing optic is in a first mounting position relative to the first housing, the second focusing optic has exactly the same relative mounting position relative to the second housing.
[0020] The second light fixture is therefore identical or almost identical, in any case structurally identical, to the first light fixture, with the exception of the elements to be described below.
[0021] The second focusing optic has a target position that corresponds exactly to the first target position.
[0022] Unlike the first light, the second light features a light guide. The light guide is supplied with light at its input from an LED array comprising at least two different types of LEDs. These can be, in particular, at least one type II LED and at least one type III LED, which, for example, both emit white light of different color temperatures, or which emit light of different colors, e.g., red, green, or blue.
[0023] At least two LEDs are dimmable relative to each other as a result of electronic control.
[0024] The light emitted by the two LEDs is directed into the light guide of the second luminaire. The light guide transports the incident light to a light-emitting surface. Simultaneously, the light guide mixes the incident light so that the light exiting the light guide at the light-emitting surface is already well-mixed in color. Further transmission of the light within the light guide preferably occurs by total internal reflection. For example, the light guide can be provided by a section of an optical fiber strand. The light guide can be made of a transparent plastic. However, the invention also encompasses light guides with other constructions.
[0025] A light guide according to the invention can in particular be an elongated body. This can, for example, have a circular cylindrical, but also a hexagonal or octagonal cross-section.
[0026] A light guide within the meaning of the present application can also be formed by a box-shaped, e.g., elongated body having reflective surfaces. Such light guides, which also have a light mixing function, are known to the applicant in the prior art under the designation "light mixing box".
[0027] The LEDs of the second and third type are arranged on a second circuit board. In the different variants of the invention, which will be described below, the second circuit board can be positioned in the same or a different position relative to the housing of the light fixture.
[0028] A special feature of the invention is that the light exit surface of the light guide is positioned exactly at the desired position of the focusing optics.
[0029] This means that, regardless of whether LEDs requiring light mixing or LEDs not requiring light mixing are used, the same housing and focusing optics of the luminaire can always be used.
[0030] The system according to the invention thus provides a modular construction system for luminaires which, using numerous identical parts - without requiring any intervention in the structural design of the luminaire - enables the achievement of identical light distributions both for monochrome luminaires that do not require light mixing, and for TW luminaires or RGB luminaires that require light mixing.
[0031] This significantly simplifies the production of different types of lights.
[0032] According to the invention, it is no longer necessary, as in the prior art, to design and manufacture different housings or focusing optics for different types of LEDs. The first luminaire of the system according to the invention comprises a focusing optic, and the second luminaire of the system according to the invention comprises an identical focusing optic.
[0033] A focusing optic within the meaning of the present patent application can be provided by a reflector dish or by a collimator optic, or it can comprise a reflector dish or a collimator optic. A focusing optic can also comprise several optical light-directing elements arranged one behind the other in the light path, e.g., a first reflector and a second reflector, or a first reflector and a collimator optic, or a first reflector and a lens element. A focusing optic within the meaning of the present invention is an optical element that modifies the light distribution and thereby performs light focusing at least along a spatial segment, i.e., in particular refracts the light or changes, and in particular reduces, the beam angle, optionally only partially within the entire light distribution.
[0034] A focusing optic according to the invention is designed to contribute to generating a focused light distribution, starting from a point light source which emits light particularly along a 180 degree solid angle area, by means of beam shaping with the aid of optical interfaces, in particular to illuminate a building wall homogeneously, be it for example for the purpose of wallwashing or for example for the purpose of a defined emission characteristic, such as spot, flood, wide flood, oval or the like.
[0035] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the light guide is fixed to the second circuit board. This enables a particularly simple construction of a second light fixture.
[0036] According to a further advantageous embodiment of the invention, the light guide is a cylindrical body made of transparent plastic. This allows the use of conventional materials and components suitable for a light guide.
[0037] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the first luminaire comprises at least one LED of the first type or at least one LED cluster with LEDs of the first type. This embodiment of the invention allows for the use of conventional luminaires. The luminaire can have only one LED, or only one LED cluster, or several LED clusters. Preferably, the number of focusing optics corresponds to the number of LED clusters.
[0038] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the second luminaire comprises at least one LED of the second type and at least one LED of the third type, or at least one LED cluster comprising at least one LED of the second type and at least one LED of the third type, wherein the LED of the second type and the LED of the third type emit different spectral light distributions. This embodiment of the invention also allows the use of conventional luminaire parts and components.
[0039] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, at least one LED of the second type emits white light of a first color temperature, and at least one LED of the third type emits white light of a second color temperature different from the first. This embodiment of the invention enables the provision of a modular system for luminaires that includes both monochromatic luminaires and TW or RGB luminaires.
[0040] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, at least one LED of the second type emits colored light of a first color, and at least one LED of the third type emits colored light of a second color different from the first. This embodiment of the invention allows for the use of conventional principles in the manufacture of luminaires and provides a system that can supply both monochromatic luminaires and TW or RGB luminaires.
[0041] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the housing features a first mechanical interface for securing a first circuit board in a first position and a second mechanical interface for securing a second circuit board in a second position spaced apart from the first. This embodiment of the invention enables particularly simple manufacturing of both types of luminaires. The housing can be designed identically for both types. Depending on whether a luminaire of the first type or a luminaire of the second type is being manufactured, the circuit board is secured at the first interface or at the second interface. The fastening elements, e.g., screws, and the mounting points on the circuit board, or through-holes for screw fasteners, can also be identical in design for both the first and second types of luminaires. The two mechanical interfaces can be spaced apart by a distance corresponding to the length of the optical fiber.
[0042] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the two mechanical interfaces are spaced apart from each other by a distance that corresponds exactly to, or approximately corresponds to, the length of the optical fiber. This embodiment of the invention enables a particularly simple construction.
[0043] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, a mechanical interface for securing the circuit board is provided on the housing, wherein the first circuit board of the first light is secured directly at the interface, and wherein the second circuit board of the second light is secured at the interface with the aid of an adapter. This embodiment of the invention enables a particularly simple housing design, which only requires a single mechanical interface. An adapter, e.g., in the form of an offset piece, e.g., using an angled element, can be provided to attach the second circuit board of the second light to the first mechanical interface in such a way that the light guide with its light-emitting surface is positioned in the desired position. The adapter can have a length that corresponds approximately to the length of the light guide. The adapter can position the circuit board away from the mechanical interface by a distance approximately equal to the length of the optical fiber.
[0044] According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, a mechanical interface for securing the circuit board is provided on the housing. The circuit boards of both luminaires can both be directly attached to the interface. The light guide of the second luminaire is curved in an arc. This embodiment of the invention enables a particularly simple design. In particular, the housing can be provided with only one mechanical interface. The light guide can include an arc-shaped section, such that the light emitted or to be mixed by the at least two LEDs is directed into a light guide that directs the incident light along the arc-shaped section.
[0045] Further advantages of the system according to the invention will become apparent from the uncited dependent claims and from the following description of the embodiments shown in the drawings.

[0049] All disclosed features are essential to the invention. The disclosure of this application also fully incorporates the disclosure content of the associated priority documents (copy of the prior application) as well as the cited publications and the described devices of the prior art, also for the purpose of including one or more features of these documents in one or more claims of the present application.
[0050] In the drawings, embodiments of a system according to the invention are collectively designated by reference numerals 10a, 10b, 10c and 10d.
[0051] A system according to the invention 10a, 10b, 10c and 10d each comprises a first light 11a, 11b, 11c, 11d and a second light 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d.
[0052] Only a combination of a first luminaire 11a, 11b, 11c, 11d with a second luminaire 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d provides a system 10a, 10b, 10c, 10d according to the invention.
[0053] A first embodiment of a first luminaire 11a is described using the Figure 1-3 explained.
[0054] In the embodiment according to the Figure 1-3 The first light fixture 11a is designed as a recessed floor light and is inserted into a floor wall 13 of a building room for this purpose. Figure 1 shows the mounting position of the first light 11a.
[0055] The first luminaire 11a comprises a first luminaire housing 16, a first focusing optic 18, a light source 23 and a first circuit board 24. The first luminaire 11a is according to Figure 1covered by a dome-shaped cover 15, which projects from the base wall 13. The cover 15 includes a window 44 through which the light emitted by the light source 23 and reflected by a focusing optic 18 in the form of a reflector 20 can exit. The luminaire 11a according to Figure 1 It serves to illuminate a vertical wall 14. A desired light distribution is to be generated on this wall 14 to be illuminated.
[0056] For clarification, it should be noted that the principle according to the invention is applicable not only to recessed floor luminaires, but also to surface-mounted floor luminaires, recessed or surface-mounted ceiling luminaires, or to luminaires mounted in other ways, e.g., also to spotlights. The invention also encompasses luminaires that do not require a dome-shaped cover 15. The invention relates generally to luminaires that have a focusing optic.
[0057] In the exemplary embodiments of the Fig. 1-8 The focusing optics 18, 19 are each formed by a reflector. The invention also includes exemplary embodiments, e.g., according to the Fig. 9 and 10 , includes, in which the focusing optics 18, 19 are provided by a collimator optic 50.
[0058] The reflector 20 is used in the embodiments of the Fig. 1-8 Each one is shaped like a bowl.
[0059] Taking into account Figure 3It becomes clear that a beam of light rays is emitted from an LED 26 of the first type, which shines into the interior 45 of the reflector 20. The reflector 20 is bowl-shaped and has a highly reflective or highly mirrored surface 46, on which the light rays emitted by the LED 26 can be reflected almost without loss. The surface 46 of the reflector bowl 20 is designed such that the desired light distribution 43a ( Fig. 1 ) on the building wall 14 to be illuminated. This is achieved by appropriately designing the reflector surface 46.
[0060] Figure 3 shows only the curvature along a vertically oriented cutting plane.
[0061] In fact, the inner surface 46 of the reflector 18 is a freeform surface that can be curved in multiple respects and directions.
[0062] In the exemplary embodiment of the Figure 1-3 The first light fixture 11a includes, as shown here. Figure 2 shows a reflector arrangement 47 comprising three reflector shells 20a, 20b, 20c.
[0063] In the Figure 1 and 3 However, for the sake of clarity, only one reflector shell 20 is shown in each case.
[0064] The invention encompasses embodiments of first luminaires 11 and embodiments of second luminaires 12, each comprising only one focusing optic, in particular one reflector shell 20, but also embodiments comprising several focusing optics 18, in particular several reflector shells 20a, 20b, 20c. Advantageously, an embodiment of a first luminaire 11 and a corresponding embodiment of a second luminaire 12 can each comprise a reflector arrangement 47 with a number of reflector shells 20a, 20b, 20c corresponding to the number of LED clusters 33a, 33b, 33c.
[0065] In the event that a first luminaire 11a, 11b, 11c, 11d and a second luminaire 12a, 12b, 12c, 12d according to the invention each comprise several LED clusters and several focusing optics, it is preferably the case that each focusing optic receives only light, or substantially only light, emitted by an associated LED cluster. Conversely, it is also the case that light emitted by one of the several LED clusters shines exclusively, or predominantly exclusively, into only one focusing optic.
[0066] The Figure 1-3 make it clear that the first bundling optic 18 is fixed in a defined mounting position 21 relative to the housing 16.
[0067] The focusing optics 18 are, as is not shown in the figures, directly or indirectly fixedly connected to the housing 16, so that the focusing optics 18 assume a defined mounting position 21 relative to the housing 16.
[0068] The focusing optics 18 are designed, as a result of complex simulation calculations, such that, assuming a specific position of a light source 23, the topography of the surface 46 is calculated precisely in order to achieve a desired light distribution 43a. The focusing optics 18 are thus assigned a specific, defined target position 22 for the light source 23. The light source 23 must be positioned exactly at this target position 22 to achieve the desired light distribution 43a. Figure 1-3 to achieve the schematically indicated light ray path with the light rays 42a, 42b, 42c, 42d, 42e, 42f, 42g, 42h, 42i, which indicates the desired light distribution 43a on the wall 14 to be illuminated.
[0069] The first light 11a according to the Figure 1-3The first luminaire comprises a single LED 26 of the first type or several LEDs 26 of the first type as a component of an LED cluster 33a, 33b, 33c. In the case that several LEDs 26 of the first type are provided as a component of an LED cluster 33a, 33b, 33c in an embodiment of a first luminaire, these several LEDs 26 of the first type emit the same or a very similar light spectrum. Crucially, the light emitted by the LED 26 of the first type or by the several LEDs 26 of the first type does not need to be premixed before being directed to the focusing optics 18, but rather the emitted light, as described above, is emitted without any premixing. Figure 3 shows that the light can be directed directly into the focusing optics 18.
[0070] Figure 3This illustrates that a first mechanical interface 35 is arranged on the first housing 16, to which the first circuit board 24 can be attached using a schematically indicated fastening means, e.g., in the form of a screw 37. The first mechanical interface 35 is therefore the one shown in Figure 3 The illustrated mounting allows the first circuit board 24 to be directly attached to or relative to the housing 16.
[0071] As a result of the placement of the first circuit board 24 with the LED 26 of the first type arranged on it, the LED 26 of the first type is positioned exactly at the target position 22.
[0072] After attaching the first circuit board 24 to the housing 16, the Figure 1-3 The light distribution shown is generated by the first luminaire 11a.
[0073] Figure 3This makes it clear that the first housing 16 has a second mechanical interface 36. This is used in the first luminaire 11a, according to Figure 3 , not used. The benefit of this second mechanical 36 is only evident from the Figure 4 explains: The Figure 4 and 5 show in a representation comparable to the Figure 2 and 3 a first embodiment of a second light 12a of a first embodiment of a system 10a according to the invention.
[0074] The second light 12a, according to Figure 4 , compared to the first light 11a according to Figure 3 A second housing 17 is provided, which is identical in construction to the first housing 16. In particular, the second housing 17 has exactly identical dimensions to the first housing 16.
[0075] Furthermore, the second light fixture 12a includes, according to Figure 4, a second focusing optic 19, which is identical in construction to the first focusing optic 18 of the first luminaire 10a, according to the Figure 1-3 , is formed. The second focusing optic 19 has, in particular, identical dimensions to the first focusing optic 18.
[0076] The focusing optics 19 of the second luminaire 12a are also arranged at exactly the same mounting position 21 relative to the housing 17 as the first focusing optics 18 are arranged relative to the first housing 16.
[0077] The second light 12a, according to Figure 4 , used compared to the first light 11a of the Figure 3 a large number of identical parts.
[0078] The differences between the second light 12a according to Figure 4 and the first light 11a according to Figure 3 are explained as follows: According to Figure 4The second luminaire 12a comprises an LED cluster 33, which includes at least two LEDs 31, 32, namely at least one LED 31 of the second type and at least one LED 32 of the third type. The LED 31 of the second type is, for example, a white light-emitting LED 31 that emits light of a first color temperature.
[0079] The third type of LED 32, for example, is an LED that emits white light of a different color temperature.
[0080] The light emitted by the two LEDs 31, 32 is mixed at the second light 12a with the aid of a light guide 27.
[0081] The optical fiber 27 is, for example, a transparent plastic cylinder, similar to a section of a fiber optic cable. The optical fiber 27 comprises, in particular, a light-entry surface 28, a light-emission surface 29, and a total internal reflection surface 30.
[0082] The light emitted by the two LEDs 31, 32 is coupled into the light guide 27 via the light entry surface 28 and undergoes multiple total internal reflections at the inner wall of the light guide 27. As a result of these numerous total internal reflections, the light is dispersed, as shown in Figure 4 only schematically represented, well mixed in terms of color and coupled out at the light exit surface 29.
[0083] The special feature of the second light 12a according to Figure 4 consists in the fact that the light exit surface 29 of the light guide 27 is positioned exactly at the target position 22 of the second focusing optics 19, which corresponds to the target position 22 of the first focusing optics 18.
[0084] This allows the second luminaire 12a to have an exactly identical construction to the first luminaire 11a, namely an identical housing 17, 16 and an identical focusing optic 18, 19. This thus enables the use of numerous identical parts.
[0085] At the same time, a luminaire 11a with an LED drive 26, which does not require light mixing, and an identically constructed luminaire 12a can be used according to Fig. 4 with an LED light drive 33, which requires light mixing, despite the use of numerous identical parts, an equal light distribution 43b is achieved which corresponds to the light distribution 43a.
[0086] The optical fiber 27 has an axial length of 39.
[0087] The positioning of the light-emitting surface 29 of the light guide 27 is achieved by attaching a second circuit board 25 to the second mechanical interface 36 using preferably identical or structurally equivalent fastening means 37. The second mechanical interface 36 is spaced from the first mechanical interface 35, in particular by a distance 38 which corresponds exactly to, or approximately corresponds to, the length 39 of the light guide 27.
[0088] The light guide 27 emits light that is already well mixed in color at the light exit surface 39 34.
[0089] Because the light emission surface 29 is positioned exactly at the target position 22, the same focusing optics 19 can be used for the color-mixed light provided by the light guide 27 as for the first luminaire 11a. The light beam path, which in the second luminaire 12a according to Figure 4 The application corresponds approximately or exactly to the light beam path of the first luminaire 11a according to Figure 3 .
[0090] Using an LED cluster 33a, 33b, 33c with differently colored LEDs 31, 32, a second light distribution 43b can be achieved, according to Figure 4 , are achieved, which correspond to the light distribution 43a of the first luminaire, approximately according to the Figure 1-3 , corresponds, or essentially corresponds, or is approximately.
[0091] Thus, according to the invention, a combination of a first luminaire 11a, according to Figure 3 , and a second light 12a, according to Figure 4 , a system 10a is provided which allows the use of numerous identical parts for different LED light drives and thus simplifies the luminaire design.
[0092] The luminaire housing 16, 17 requires only two different mechanical interfaces 35, 36, which allow for different mounting positions of circuit boards 24, 25 and ensure that the light is always emitted at the same target position 22. This simplifies both the manufacture and production as well as the design of luminaires.
[0093] Furthermore, the first light 11a and the second light 12a may comprise a variety of identical parts not shown in the figures.
[0094] The exemplary embodiment of the Figure 1-3comprises three LED clusters 33a, 33b, 33c, each with one LED 26 or with several LEDs 26.
[0095] Figure 5 clarifies that the second luminaire 12a can also have three LED clusters 33a, 33b, 33c, each of the three LED clusters 33a, 33b, 33c having at least one LED 31 of the second kind and one LED 32 of the third kind.
[0096] Preferably, the second luminaire 12a comprises a number of LED clusters 33a, 33b, 33c corresponding to the number of LED clusters 33a, 33b, 33c of the first luminaire 11a.
[0097] Likewise, Figure 5 It is clear that the invention includes systems 10a, 10b, 10c, 10d, in which the second light 12a has several light guides 27a, 27b, 27c.
[0098] Figure 5 This also makes it clear that each of the majority of reflector shells 20a, 20b, 20c is assigned its own target position 22a, 22b, 22c.
[0099] Based on a summary of Figure 6 and7 A second embodiment 10b of a system according to the invention will be explained: The system 10b comprises a first luminaire 11b, according to Figure 6 , and a second light 12b, according to Figure 7 .
[0100] The first light 11b according to Figure 6 , essentially corresponds to the first light 11a, according to Figure 3 , with the difference that only one mechanical interface 35 is provided.
[0101] The second interface 36 of the first light, according to Figure 3 , can be done at the first light 11b, according to Figure 6 , omitted. Furthermore, the first light is 11b, according to Figure 6 , to the first light 11a, according to Figure 3 , identically trained.
[0102] The second luminaire 12b corresponds to the second luminaire 12a in terms of lighting technology, according to Figure 4: Here, unlike the second light 12a, the circuit board 25 is not attached directly to the mechanical interface 35, but with the aid of an adapter 40.
[0103] The adapter 40 can have a first fastening end 48a, with which it is fixed to the mechanical interface 35 by means of a first fastening means 37a, and a second fastening end 48b, with which it is fixed to the circuit board 25 by means of a second fastening means 37b.
[0104] The adapter 40 can have an axial length 49 which corresponds approximately or exactly to the axial length 39 of the optical fiber 27.
[0105] Again, both the first light 11b, according to Figure 6 , as well as the second light 12b, according to Figure 7, a positioning of the LED 26 at the target position 22 or a positioning of the light emission surface 29 of the light guide 27 at the same target position 22 can be achieved. Thus, even in this embodiment of a system 10b, using numerous identical parts, such as housing 16, 17 and focusing optics 18, 19, for different LED light drives, a light distribution 43d of the second luminaire 12b can be achieved which corresponds to a light distribution 43c of the first luminaire 11b.
[0106] Again, in this embodiment of a system, a plurality of LED clusters 33a, 33b, 33c can be provided in the first luminaire 11b and in the second luminaire 12b, wherein the number of LED clusters 33a, 33b, 33c of the second luminaire 12b corresponds to the number of LED clusters 33a, 33b, 33c of the first luminaire 11b.
[0107] In summary, the Figure 6 and 8A further embodiment of a system 10c according to the invention is explained. This comprises a first luminaire 11c, according to Figure 6 , and a second luminaire 12c according to Figure 8 .
[0108] The first light 11c corresponds to the first light 11b explained above.
[0109] The second luminaire 12c comprises a circuit board 25 on which an LED cluster 33 is arranged, consisting of a second-type LED 31 and a third-type LED 32. Unlike the first luminaire 11c, the LEDs are arranged on the opposite side of the circuit board 25. Again, the second-type LED 31 emits light of a first color or white light of a first color temperature, and the third-type LED 32 emits light of a second color or white light of a different color temperature.
[0110] Here, a light guide 27 is provided, which is essentially arc-shaped - in the form of a U.
[0111] The arc-shaped light guide 27 has a light entry surface 28 and a light exit surface 29. Light is directed via an arc-shaped section 41, with the aid of total internal reflection surfaces 30, and mixed in color before reaching the light exit surface 29. This surface is located at the designated position 22 of the focusing optics 18. Therefore, an identical housing 16, an identical focusing optics 18a, and numerous other identical components can be used. For the construction of the two luminaires 11c and 12c, only modified circuit boards and a modified positioning of the LEDs 31 and 32 are required.
[0112] Another embodiment of a system 10d according to the invention shows the combination of a first light 11d, according to Figure 9 , with a second luminaire 12d, according to Figure 10 .
[0113] Evidentiously Figure 9The first luminaire 11d again has a luminaire housing 16, which is only shown schematically. Here, the luminaire 11d is not designed as a recessed luminaire, but as a spotlight luminaire. For the sake of clarity, only the luminaire housing is shown without the mechanical connection and – as in the embodiments of the Figures 1 to 8 - without the electrical power supply lines and control lines, as well as without the electrical and electronic components and mains connections and other mandatory electronic components required in conventional luminaires. A collimator optic 50 is arranged on the luminaire housing 16 as the first focusing optic 18.
[0114] The collimator optics 50 includes a cavity 51 into which the LED 26 of the first type emits light.
[0115] The cavity has side wall sections 52 and a ceiling wall section 53.
[0116] Furthermore, the collimator optics 50 has total internal reflection surfaces 54 and a light exit surface 55.
[0117] The collimator optics 50 are in the embodiment of the Figure 9 designed in such a way that all light rays emitted by the LED 26 of the first type are bundled, for example at an imaginary focal point or focus area 59.
[0118] The luminaire 11d also has a diverging lens 60, with a flat light emission surface 61 and a slightly concave curved light entry surface 62.
[0119] The diverging lens 60 causes the incident light to spread out, resulting in a beam angle α.
[0120] The light rays 58a to 58h illustrate the light guidance generated by the collimator optics 50 as the first focusing optics 18 and by the diverging lens 60.
[0121] The luminaire 11d, according to Fig. 9This provides the desired light distribution. The collimator optics 50, the housing 16, and also the diverging lens 60 are designed to achieve the desired light distribution.
[0122] The circuit board 24, which is shown schematically, is directly attached to the housing 16.
[0123] The collimator optics 50 are in the embodiment of the Figure 9 , by means of a mounting seat 56 fixedly connected to the housing 16 and a separately provided mounting ring 57, fixed in a mounting position 21 relative to the housing 16.
[0124] Fig. 10 Illustrates the embodiment of a second light fixture 12d.
[0125] The second luminaire 12d has a circuit board 25, a light guide 27, and an LED cluster 33 with a second-type LED 31 and a third-type LED 32. The light guide 27 includes a light-emitting surface 29, which is arranged at exactly the same target position 22 as the first-type LED 26 in the luminaire 11d, according to Figure 9 This means that the 12d lamp can utilize numerous identical parts.
[0126] In direct comparison of the Figure 9 and 10 It becomes clear that the second housing 17 of the second luminaire 12d is identical in construction to the first housing 16 of the first luminaire 11d. Furthermore, it becomes clear that the collimator optics 50 of the second luminaire 12d, including the mechanical fastening elements such as the retaining ring 57 and the mounting seat 56, are also identical to the collimator optics 50 of the first luminaire 11d.
[0127] This means that an identical lighting design can be used again. Only the LED light drive and the circuit board are different.
[0128] Here too, a single mechanical interface can be used to attach the circuit board 24, 25 to the housing 16, 17.
[0129] The luminaire 11d, according to Figure 9 , and the luminaire 12d, according to Fig. 10 Together they form an embodiment of a system 10d according to the invention.
