[0037] With reference to the drawings and in particular to FIGS. 1 - 2, a golf club head 10 constructed in accordance with the present disclosure comprises main body 12, strike face plate 14, hosel 16, leading edge 18, top line 20 and sole 22. Preferably, main body 12 forms in a front side 13 thereof a fitting cavity or recess 11. Strike face plate 14 and fitting cavity preferably may be trapezoidal in shape as shown in FIG. 1. In different applications, strike face plate 14 and fitting cavity 11 can be of differing shapes such as rectangular, swallow-tail, dovetail shape, hexagonal, oval, irregular or other shapes. Fitting cavity 11 preferably has means for retaining strike face plate 14 within fitting cavity 11. Preferably, strike face plate 14 is bonded to main body 12 within fitting cavity 11 using nickel paste or silver paste in a vacuum brazing process. 4. The golf club head of claim 3, wherein the main body comprises a first material having a density between about 7,500 kg / m3to about 8,000 kg / m3and the perimeter comprises a second material having a density between about 15,000 kg / m3to about 22,000 kg / m3.

5. The golf club head of claim 3, wherein the second material of the perimeter is inserted into the main body around the strike face plate or underneath the strike face plate and is not visible on the front side of the main body.
