Description

[0001] Guide device

[0002] The present invention relates to a guide device with a side rail and a pull-out guide, wherein the side rail has at least two vertical posts spaced apart from one another and at least one horizontal bar connecting the two posts and having an anti-tip device, wherein the anti-tip device is fixed to the horizontal bar with an end section and, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the bar, has a C-shaped section to which a guide section extends above and substantially parallel to the bar, and the pull-out guide comprises at least two rails which can be moved relative to one another and a stationary rail is held on the side rail via a front holder and a rear holder.

[0003] DE 10 2006 015 444 B4 discloses a telescopic pull-out device for attachment to a side rail, which has two vertical posts and pairs of horizontally extending guide rods connected to the vertical posts on both sides. A lower guide rod serves as a support, and an upper guide rod serves as an anti-tip device to prevent a food carrier from being lifted in a partially extended position. A telescopic pull-out device with a stationary rail and a movable guide rail is fixed to a pair of guide rods, wherein the guide rail has a web arranged between the two guide rods of a pair of guide rods. The upper guide rod can thus form an anti-tip device when a food carrier is arranged on the guide rail. The resulting guide system requires a lot of metal due to the pairs of guide rods, which slows down the oven heating process and consumes energy. Furthermore, the anti-tip device hinders the lifting of a food carrier when it is already largely in position in front of the oven.

[0004] It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a guide device which has an improved structure and in which the pull-out guide can be fixed to a side rail using simple means.

[0005] The guide device according to the invention comprises a side rail and a pull-out guide, wherein the side rail has at least two spaced-apart vertical posts and at least one horizontal bar connecting the two posts, said bar having an anti-tip device. The anti-tip device is fixed to the horizontal bar by an end portion and, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the bar, has a C-shaped portion on which a guide portion extends above and substantially parallel to the bar. The guide portion forms the anti-tip device, which prevents a food support, for example a baking tray, from tipping on the horizontal bar in a partially protruding position. The pull-out guide comprises at least two rails that can be moved relative to one another, with a stationary rail being held on the side rail by means of a front and a rear holder, and the rear holder engaging with a web under a lower and / or upper leg of the C-shaped section of the anti-tip device in order to secure the pull-out guide in the installed position against lifting and twisting about a longitudinal axis in the rear area. This means that the guide device can be of compact design, since the anti-tip device with the guide section above the horizontal bar is shorter than the horizontal bar, for example at least 15%, preferably at least 20%, shorter in the longitudinal direction of the horizontal bar than the horizontal bar between the two vertical posts. This also means that the pull-out guide orThe stationary rail can be correspondingly shorter, since the rear bracket is no longer mounted on the rear vertical post, but rather on the C-shaped section, which is spaced from the vertical post. This allows the guide device to be manufactured with minimal material, particularly less metal, and allows for the guidance of food supports or other elements supported by the guide device while maintaining a compact design.

[0006] Preferably, the pull-out guide is suspended from the side rail via the front bracket and the rear bracket. This allows the pull-out guide to be removably attached to the side rail and is easily installed by attaching the rear bracket to the C-shaped section of the anti-tip device and the front bracket to the front vertical post. The pull-out guide is then held in the desired position by gravity and the brackets.

[0007] In a preferred embodiment, the rear holder can be pushed onto the C-shaped section of the anti-tip device for installation. This allows installation by sliding movement, in particular without tools. The rear holder can engage around the horizontal bar in a U-shape in order to be fixed perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the bar. Alternatively or additionally, the rear holder can engage around a lower leg of the C-shaped section in a U-shape, so that the rear holder is secured against raising or lowering. The rear holder can also have stop surfaces that bear against the C-shaped section, for example on a vertical connecting section between the two horizontal legs. For example, in the installed position, a web of the rear holder can engage behind the connecting section, so that withdrawal of the pull-out guide in a horizontal direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the bar is prevented.Preferably, the rear holder blocks movement of the pull-out guide in five spatial directions, and the pull-out guide with the holder can essentially only be removed in the longitudinal direction of the pull-out guide.

[0008] For stable fixation of the drawer slide, the rear bracket can engage under a section of the stationary rail. Optionally, the front bracket can also engage under a section of the stationary rail. For this purpose, the brackets can be angled, for example, so that the stationary rail rests on the two horizontal sections of the brackets. Alternatively, the front and / or rear brackets can also be attached to a side surface of the stationary rail.

[0009] The front bracket is preferably suspended from a particularly angled end section of the horizontal bar and can have a slot-shaped receptacle through which the end section passes. Furthermore, the front vertical post can be encompassed by a U-shaped section on the front bracket.

[0010] An upwardly projecting web is preferably fixed to the movable rail or formed integrally therewith, said web being arranged laterally next to the horizontal bar and projecting upwards to form a support surface for a food carrier. A cover can be fixed to the movable rail, forming the support surface and covering a gap between the stationary rail and the movable rail. This improves hygiene by preventing contaminants from accumulating between the rails. The cover can therefore cover a substantially horizontal slot between the movable rail and the stationary rail. The cover can be fixed to the movable rail, for example welded thereto. Alternatively, the cover can also be attached to the movable rail by latching and / or riveting. If latched, the cover could also be detachably attached to the movable rail. The latching means can optionally be formed integrally with the cover and the movable rail. The support surface for holding the food carrier is preferably located above the top of the horizontal bar and below the guide section of the anti-tip device. This allows a food carrier to be placed optionally on the horizontal bar and is secured against lifting by the anti-tip device. Alternatively, the guide device is mounted on the side rail, and the food carrier rests on the support surface and is also secured against lifting by the guide section of the anti-tip device.

[0011] The drawer slide is preferably positioned at a level below the horizontal bar. The drawer slide can be positioned with all rails below the level of the horizontal bar, so that all rails of the drawer slide are arranged in a space between the horizontal bar and an anti-tip device for the horizontal bar below. The space between the horizontal bar and the anti-tip device below can thus be used for positioning the drawer slide.

[0012] In addition to the stationary rail and the movable rail, the pull-out guide can also have a pull-out extending center rail, wherein the rails of the pull-out guide can preferably be moved relative to one another via rolling elements.

[0013] The rear holder and / or the front holder are preferably made of a bent metal sheet. The bent metal sheet, in its flat state as a blank, can have an area of less than 20 cm 2 so that the material used for the holders can be kept to a minimum.

[0014] The guide device according to the invention is preferably used in household appliances, in particular in cooking appliances, wherein a guide device according to the invention can be mounted on opposite sides of a cooking chamber.

[0024] Figures 10A and 10B show two views of a modified mounting of the cover on the drawer guide, and

[0025] Figures 11A and 11B show two views of another modified cover on a drawer guide.

[0026] A guide device 1 comprises a side rail 2 having at least two vertical posts 3 that are spaced apart from one another and between which a plurality of horizontally extending rods 4 are arranged. In this exemplary embodiment, the horizontal rods 4 have, at least on one side, an angled end section 5 that is fixed to the front vertical post 3 in the installed position. In the rear area, the vertical post 3 is fixed to a straight section of the horizontal rod 4, whereby an angled end section 5 can optionally also be provided there, to which the post 3 is fixed.

[0027] The side rail 2 comprises an anti-tip device, which is fixed to the horizontal bar 4. The anti-tip device is shorter in the longitudinal direction of the horizontal bar 4 than the horizontal bar 4, preferably between 10% and 80%, in particular 20% to 60% shorter. Each anti-tip device comprises a C-shaped section, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the horizontal bar 4, wherein a lower leg 7 is connected to the horizontal bar 4 and a connecting section 8 is formed between a lower horizontal leg 7 and an upper horizontal leg 9. Adjoining the upper horizontal leg 9 is a guide section 6, which runs essentially parallel to and above the horizontal bar 4.In the illustrated embodiment, the guide section 6 is connected to the horizontal bar 4 on opposite sides via a C-shaped section, but can optionally also be fixed at one end to a vertical post 3. Since the anti-tip device is arranged at a distance from the vertical post 3, at least in the front area, a food support can be lifted on the bar 4 before it has been moved horizontally away from the horizontal bar 4. In the illustrated embodiment, four horizontal bars 4, each with an anti-tip device, are shown on the side grille 2. The number of horizontal bars 4 with anti-tip devices can, however, be adapted to the installation situation in the household appliance.

[0028] A pull-out guide 10 is fixed to at least one of the horizontal bars 4, each pull-out guide 10 having a stationary rail 11 and a movable rail 13. In the illustrated embodiment, a pull-out-extending middle rail 12 is arranged between the stationary rail 11 and the movable rail 13. A strip-shaped cover 14 is fixed, for example welded, to the movable rail 13 and covers a slot between the stationary rail 11 and the movable rail 13. With reference to the installation situation in an oven, the covering takes place on an inner side of the side rack 2. The cover 14 has a tab 15 on the front, which optionally limits a retracted position and is movable up to the front vertical post 3. In the rear area, an upwardly projecting web 16 is formed on the cover 14, which limits the sliding of a food carrier onto the cover 14.The cover 14 has a support surface 17 on its top, onto which a food carrier, such as a baking tray, can be placed with a rim. The support surface 17 is positioned above the horizontal bar 4 and below the guide section 6 of the anti-tip device.

[0029] The stationary rail 11 is fixed, preferably suspended, to the angled end section 5 of the horizontal bar 4 via a front bracket 20, with at least one U-shaped section additionally encompassing the vertical post 3. The front bracket 20 comprises a U-shaped clamp 21 arranged around the front post 3. Furthermore, a vertical web 22 is provided, by which the stationary rail 11 is suspended. The front bracket 20 can be fixed to the side rail 2 by clamping or locking. Additionally, the front bracket 20 can be secured in the mounted position by a spring element.

[0030] The drawer guide 10 is further fixed to the stationary rail 11 via a rear bracket 30 which is held on the horizontal bar 4 and the C-shaped section of the anti-tip device.

[0031] The rear holder 30 is shown in detail in the assembled position in Figures 2A to 2C. The rear holder 30 comprises a U-shaped section 31 arranged around the horizontal bar 4. Furthermore, a web-shaped tab 32 is integrally formed on the holder 30, which engages behind the connecting section 8 of the C-shaped section, i.e., is arranged on the outside with respect to the installation situation, so that movement in five spatial directions is blocked by the rear holder 30. The rear holder 30 further comprises a vertical web 34, which has an angled section 35 at the end, which engages under the stationary rail 11 and is secured thereto, for example by welding.

[0032] As shown in Figure 2C, the pull-out guide with the rails 11, 12, and 13 is located entirely below the plane defined by the horizontal bar 4 and the angled end section 5. The rails 11, 12, and 13 are movable relative to one another via rolling elements. Furthermore, the pull-out guide 10 is located between the two vertical posts 3, viewed in the longitudinal direction of the horizontal bar 4, and can optionally also project beyond the vertical posts 3 on one side or both sides. Figures 3A and 3B show the rear holder 30, which is preferably made of a bent metal sheet. The holder 30 comprises the I-shaped section 31 for gripping the horizontal bar 4, which section has a lower and an upper leg, wherein the tab 32 is formed integrally with the upper leg, which tab projects vertically upwards and engages behind the connecting section 8 on the outside.Furthermore, a web 33 is integrally formed on the holder 30, which engages under the lower leg 7 of the C-shaped section and thus prevents the rear holder 30 from lifting in the installed position. The angled section 35 for securing the stationary rail 11 is also visible.

[0033] Figures 4A to 4C show the assembly of the rear holder 30 in detail. The rear holder 30 is first fixed to the pull-out guide 10, in particular welded to the stationary rail 11. The unit comprising the rear holder 30 and the pull-out guide 10 is then positioned on the side rail 2, with the rear holder 30 being placed with the U-shaped section 31 around the horizontal bar 4, as shown in Figure 4B. In this pre-assembled position, the rear holder 30 can now be pushed rearward in the longitudinal direction of the horizontal bar 4 until the tab 32 engages behind the connecting section 8 of the C-shaped section of the anti-tip device, as shown in Figure 4C. In the assembled position, the rear holder 30 thus blocks movement of the stationary rail 11 in five spatial directions.Optionally, the tab 32 can also be designed so that it surrounds the vertical connecting section 8 in an L-shape or U-shape.

[0034] Figures 5A and 5B show a second embodiment of a guide device 1' according to the invention, in which the side rail 2 is designed as in the first embodiment. The pull-out guide 10 and the front bracket 20 are also structurally identical, and only the rear bracket 40 for securing the stationary rail 11 has been modified.

[0035] Figures 6A to 6C show the rear holder 40 in detail in the assembled position. The rear holder 40 comprises a vertical web 41, which has an angled section 43 at the lower end, which engages under the stationary rail 11. Alternatively, the front 20 and / or rear holder 40 can also be attached to a lateral surface of the stationary rail 11. The stationary rail 11 can be fixed, in particular welded, to the angled section 43. Furthermore, a projection 45 is designed as a web on the vertical web 41, which projects rearward and which, together with a horizontal web 42 on the upper side of the holder 40, forms a slot-shaped receptacle 44, into which the lower leg 7 of the C-shaped section of the anti-tip device is inserted. The lower leg 7 does not have to engage to the end of the receptacle 44, but is arranged essentially in a form-fitting manner between the upper web 42 and the lower projection 45.The holder 40 further comprises an angled tab 46 on the upper web 42, in particular two spaced tabs 46, which rest against or rest on the horizontal bar 4. The rear holder 40 can thus block the pull-out guide 10 against movement in four spatial directions, with displacement in the rearward direction being blocked by the front holder 20.

[0036] Figures 7A and 7B show the rear bracket 40 in detail, which is also made of a bent metal sheet. The rear bracket 40 is essentially C-shaped and includes the angled section 43, the vertical web 41, and the upper web 42. The slot-shaped receptacle 44 for inserting the lower leg 7 is formed between the projection 45 on the vertical web 41 and the upper web 42.

[0037] Figures 8A to 8D show the assembly of the rear holder 40 in detail. The rear holder 40 is first mounted on the pull-out guide 10, in particular welded to the stationary rail 11. The unit comprising the pull-out guide 10 and the rear holder 40 can then be positioned on the side rail 2, wherein, according to Figures 8B and 8C, the slot-shaped receptacle 44 is arranged such that it is adjacent to the lower leg 7 of the C-shaped section of the anti-tip device. The pull-out guide with the rear holder 40 is then pushed onto the lower leg 7 of the C-shaped section of the anti-tip device by a sliding movement in the rear direction, as shown in Figure 8D. The horizontal web 42 comes into contact between the horizontal bar 4 and the connecting section 8 in order to fix the holder 40 in the lateral direction.

[0038] The above embodiments can optionally be combined; for example, the holder 40 can additionally have a U-shaped section 31 to engage around the rod 4. Figures 9A to 9C show the assembly of the cover 14 on the pull-out guide 10. An angular projection 19 is formed on a vertical wall section of the cover 14, which engages around the movable rail 13 in a U-shape. Two recesses are provided on the strip-shaped and angular projection 19, and a locking web 23 is integrally formed from the material of the recesses. A resilient locking element 24 is formed on the locking web 23. On the opposite side, a further locking web 23' is provided on the angular projection 19.

[0039] The strip-shaped cover 14 is placed from above onto the movable rail 13, and the locking web 23 is pressed outward until the resilient web 24 engages behind an edge of the movable rail 13. On the opposite side, the locking web 23' also engages with a receptacle or recess in the movable rail 13, so that the cover 14 is secured to the movable rail 13. Instead of the angled web 16, a modified web 16' is formed on the cover 14, which is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the pull-out guide 10.

[0040] Figures 10A and 10B show a further cover 14, which is mounted on the movable rail 13 of the drawer guide 10 using modified fastening means. Two upwardly projecting hook elements 27 are formed on the movable rail 13 of the drawer guide 10. The cover 14 comprises a strip-shaped and angled projection 19, with two recesses 26 formed on a horizontal web 25 of the angled projection 19, into which the hook elements 27 can be inserted.

[0041] Furthermore, a hook 29 is formed on a movable rail 13, which protrudes in the opposite direction to the hook elements 27. On the cover 14, a locking web 28 is formed on the horizontal web 25, the free end of which can engage with the hook 29. The cover 14 is first placed on the movable rail 13 so that the angular projection 19 engages around the movable rail 13 and the hook elements 27 protrude through the recess 26. The cover 14 is then moved until the hook elements 27 overlap the horizontal web 25 and a free end of the locking web 28 engages with the hook 29. The cover 14 is thus fixed to the movable rail 13 by mechanical means. Instead of an angled tab 15, the cover 14 has a modified tab 15' that is aligned parallel to the longitudinal direction of the pull-out guide 10.Optionally, the tab 15' can also be angled and cover a plate 18 which is attached to the movable rail 13 and limits the travel path of the movable rail 13 relative to the stationary rail 11.

[0042] Figures 11A and 11B show a further embodiment for securing a cover 14 to the movable rail 13 of the pull-out guide 10. Formed on the movable rail 13 is an upwardly projecting hook element 27 that can be inserted into a recess 26 on an angular projection 19 of the cover 14. An opening 36 is provided on the movable rail 13, and an opening 37 is provided on the cover on the horizontal web 25. After the cover 14 has been placed on the movable rail 13, the cover 14 is secured by a rivet 38 that is inserted into the opening 37 and the opening 36.

[0043] The different fastening of the cover 14 can be combined as desired with the different embodiments for fixing to the side rail.
