Scissor lift configured to handle platform descent locking and corresponding method

Abstract

The invention relates to a scissor lift which comprises a platform, a hydraulic cylinder system (6) configured to actuate a structure for raising the platform of the lift, a pressure sensor system (7) arranged to measure the pressure in the cylinder system, and a control unit (10) configured, at least when the lift is in a working position and when the measured pressure value (P7m) is lower than a minimum threshold value (P7s) defined for the height (H4) at which the platform is located, to prevent the platform from descending, the rising movement of the platform remaining controllable. The invention also relates to a method for preventing descent and to a corresponding method for authorising descent.
