Description

[0001] A CONNECTION PLATE FOR A GAS COOKING DEVICE

[0002] TECHNICAL FIELD

[0003] The present invention relates to a connection plate on the gas pipe in cooking devices, particularly in gas cooking devices.

[0004] STATE OF THE ART

[0005] In gas-operated cookers, particularly in stoves, gas is supplied to the combustion units via gas taps. The gas taps are controlled through control knobs accessible by the user. For positioning the control knobs on the front panel of gas stoves, the gas taps need to be secured. For this, the gas taps must be attached to the gas distribution pipes within the cooking device.

[0006] KR20200099472A relates to a cooking device that prevents gas leakage by developing the connection structure between a gas pipe and a valve. The present invention concerns a cooking device that includes a main unit with a heating unit; a gas pipe with first and second holes facing each other; a valve used to adjust the amount of gas supplied to the heating unit, the valve having a fitting protrusion placed inside the gas pipe through the first hole and an external coupling protrusion connected to the fitting protrusion through the second hole, securing the valve to the gas pipe; and a bracket connected to the coupling protrusion to secure the valve to the gas pipe doubly.

[0007] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0008] The object of the invention is to secure gas taps to the gas pipe in a gas cooking device.

[0009] Another object of the invention is to ensure sealing within a gas cooking device.

[0010] In order to achieve above objectives, the invention relates to a gas cooking device comprising a gas tap with a coupling element provided on a side wall, extending from the gas pipe, a front wall where an adjustment shaft extending from the gas pipe rests, a rear wall opposite the front wall, and a connection plate in the form of an elbow structure with a mounting extension that rests against the gas pipe from the side corresponding to the coupling element. The gas cooking device also includes a support extension extending from a first end of the mounting extension towards the rear wall of the gas tap. This way, the gas tap is securely and tightly fixed on the gas pipe, ensuring both gas flow and sealing. The coupling of the gas tap with the coupling element and support from the rear through the support extension provide a tight fit, resulting in a compact structure.

[0011] In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the support extension includes a protrusion resting against the rear wall of the gas tap. This prevents movement of the gas tap during the use of rotating control elements, thereby preventing issues that may arise from such movement.

[0012] In another preferred embodiment, the protrusion is provided adjacent to one side of the support extension. This ensures that the gas tap is supported along the force balance from the rear, limiting its movement.

[0013] In another preferred embodiment, the connection plate is extended to secure at least one second gas tap of the same structure. This prevents the movement of multiple gas taps, ensuring a longer product lifespan.

[0014] In another preferred embodiment, the connection plate is made of a single piece by bending metal sheet. This allows for the secure attachment of multiple gas taps on the same connection plate without the need for additional parts.

[0015] In another preferred embodiment, the mounting extension includes a connection slot with a curved structure and a diameter equal to the gas pipe, where the gas pipe is seated. This ensures the secure fixation of the gas pipe within the cooking device, preventing issues that may arise from movement and ensuring uninterrupted gas flow.

[0016] In another preferred embodiment, the mounting extension includes a first connection hole adjacent to the connection slot and a second connection hole corresponding to the first connection hole. This allows for the gas tap to be tightly coupled on the gas pipe through a connection element passing through the connection holes.

[0017] In another preferred embodiment, the mounting extension includes a channel extending transversely between the first and second connection holes and the connection slot. This prevents movement of the connection elements within the connection slots, thereby strengthening the fixation of the gas taps.

[0018] In another preferred embodiment, the mounting extension includes first and second connection holes in a T-like form. This T-like structure provides a more secure connection, ensuring tighter and more reliable connections when the gas tap and gas pipe are joined, reducing the risk of gas leaks and improving safety.

[0019] In another preferred embodiment, the first and second connection holes of the connection plate are aligned with the protrusion in the same plane. This ensures that the gas taps resist radial movement.

[0020] In another preferred embodiment, the connection plate includes an alignment extension extending parallel to the support extension from a second end of the mounting extension. This prevents the deformation of the connection plate when an upper cover is placed over the gas pipe.

[0021] In another preferred embodiment, the support extension extends perpendicularly to the adjustment shaft of the gas tap. This prevents movement of the gas tap, strengthening its fixation.

[0026] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0027] In this detailed description, the development subject to the invention is explained with references to examples to provide a better understanding of the subject without limiting the invention.

[0028] Figure 1 shows the pre-installation position of the main gas pipe. A gas pipe (10) carrying the gas mixture necessary for combustion is provided in a gas cooking device. A connection hole (12) aligned and spaced from one another is provided on one side of the gas pipe (10). The number of connection holes (12) is four. A gas tap (20) and a second gas tap (40) adjacent to the gas tap (20) are placed over the connection hole (12) of the gas pipe (10), ensuring sealing and gas transmission. The number of gas taps (20) is chosen as four, depending on the number of connection holes (12). Each gas tap is designed in the same structure. The gas tap (20) includes an adjustment shaft (22) extending outward. The gas taps (20, 40) are fixed on the gas pipe (10) via a connection plate (30). The connection plate (30) includes a mounting extension (32) extending parallel to the gas taps (20, 40) and on the opposite side of the gas pipe (10) facing the gas taps (20). Each gas tap (20) is fixed with two connection elements (38) from the rear wall (322) of the mounting extension (32) to correspond to each gas tap (20). During the installation of the gas taps (20, 40), a support extension (34) extending perpendicularly to the mounting extension (32) is provided to support the gas taps (20, 40). The support extension (34) is formed by bending from the mounting extension (32).

[0029] Figure 2 shows a front view of the connection plate for the gas cooking device. The connection plate (30) ensures the fixation of the gas taps (20, 40) with connection elements (38) shown in figure 1. The connection plate (30) is made of a single piece by bending metal sheet. The connection plate (30) includes a connection slot (35) extending from the central axis of the mounting extension (32). The connection slot (35) is of a curved structure and extends outward from the rear wall (322) of the mounting extension (32). The connection slot (35) has the same diameter as the gas pipe (10) and limits the movement of the gas pipe (10). The mounting extension (32) includes a first connection hole (33) placed symmetrically on the opposite side of the connection slot (35) and a second connection hole (36) symmetric to the first connection hole (33) on the mirror axis. The first and second connection holes (33, 36) are in the form of a T-like structure and are designed to narrow first and then widen before the connection slot (35). They are fully opened on the front wall (324) of the mounting extension (32). The first and second connection holes (33, 36) have the same structure, and the connection elements (38) shown in figure 1 pass through the first and second connection holes (33, 36), ensuring fixation.
