Classification of urban energy units and energy districts using artificial intelligence technologies

Abstract

The present invention relates to methods, devices and computer programs for supporting the energy analysis of a geographical study area with an actually existing buildings stock. The method can comprise a step of procuring data which describe energy-relevant properties of at least one urban energy unit of the study area. The energy-relevant properties can comprise at least geometric and / or structural properties of the buildings stock in the urban energy unit. The method can comprise a step of automatically classifying the at least one urban energy unit by a classifier based on at least some of the energy-relevant properties. The method can comprise a step of providing the at least one classified urban energy unit for energy analysis. Providing can be carried out in particular by displaying the at least one classified urban energy unit on a map representation of the geographical study area by means of a display device.
