AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing damping hinges have a fixed damping force that cannot be adjusted, leading to issues such as impact noise from heavy doors or slow closing processes in varying home environments.

Method used

A hinge with adjustable damping force, featuring a hinge cup, hinge body, hinge arm, pivot shaft, damping cylinder, pusher, first and second limiting members, and a mounting base, allowing for adjustment of damping force by shifting the second limiting member between two operating positions.

Benefits of technology

Enables customizable damping force adjustment, reducing noise and improving closing speed according to user needs by altering the stroke of the damping cylinder.

Abstract

Disclosed in the present application is a hinge having an adjustable buffer, the hinge comprising a hinge cup, a hinge body, a hinge arm, a buffer, a hinge shaft, a mounting base, a buffer cylinder, a pushing member, a first limiting member, and a second limiting member. When the second limiting member is toggled to working position I, a limiting hook portion blocks in the front of an extruding hook block, shortening the distance by which a pushing portion pushes the first limiting member to move, and when the hinge is folded, the stroke of the buffer cylinder compressed by the first limiting member is reduced, reducing the buffering force of the hinge. When the second limiting member is toggled to working position II, the limiting hook portion moves to the rear of a clearance position, and when the hinge is folded, the distance by which the pushing portion pushes the first limiting member to move returns to the original state, such that the stroke of the buffer cylinder compressed by the first limiting member is increased, increasing the buffering force of the hinge.
