Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Method for managing the restitution of at least one content by a terminal, terminal and corresponding computer program.
[0001] 1. Field of the invention
[0002] The field of the invention is that of the management of content, for example of the type images, video, audio, animation, text, etc., accessible by a terminal.
[0003] More specifically, the invention relates to the restitution of such content by a terminal, and the authorization of access to at least some of this content.
[0004] Such a terminal may be a fixed or mobile device, allowing content to be rendered, for example a computer, a tablet, a smartphone, etc.
[0005] 2. Prior art
[0006] Conventionally, when a first user of a terminal wishes to share content, via his own terminal, with a second user located nearby (i.e. allow him to access this content via his terminal), he can lend his terminal (for example his smartphone) to the second user.
[0007] The second user can then navigate in the first user's terminal, and access more content than the content that the first user actually wanted to share with the second user, which poses a confidentiality problem.
[0008] A first solution consists of the first user keeping his terminal in hand, and selecting himself the contents that he wishes to share with the second user.
[0009] Such a solution is however restrictive and impractical, the second user being obliged to lean forward, move very close to the first user to see and / or hear the content being played back.
[0010] A second solution is for the first user to manually create sub-albums, open a sub-album containing content that he wishes to share with the second user, and then lend his terminal to the second user.
[0011] The second user can then navigate in the sub-album "authorized" by the first user. However, once the second user has the first user's terminal in hand, he can leave the authorized sub-album and access other content. Indeed, nothing prevents the second user from consulting other albums. Once again, there is a problem of confidentiality in accessing the content.
[0012] There is therefore a need for a new technique for rendering content which does not have all the drawbacks of the prior art.
[0013] 3. Statement of the invention
[0014] The invention proposes a new solution in the form of a method for managing the restitution of at least one content by a terminal of a first user, comprising: - the selection, by said first user, via a human-machine interface of said terminal, of a first content suitable for being rendered by the terminal, - the detection of a change of user of the terminal, implemented during the selection of the first content or following the selection of the first content, - the restitution by the terminal of at least one second content, selected taking into account at least one piece of context information associated with the first content, implemented upon detection of a change of user or following detection of a change of user.
[0015] The proposed solution thus allows a first user (for example the owner of the terminal, the main user of the terminal, a user having an account on the terminal or having unlocked access to the terminal, etc.) to limit the content shared with other users accessing his terminal. Thus, a current user of the terminal, distinct from the first user, does not have access to all of the content of the first user, but only to a subset of the content of the first user. In other words, the proposed solution makes it possible to restore, in at least certain embodiments, only content authorized "in advance" by the first user of the terminal.
[0016] To do this, the first user chooses a first content that he wishes to share. Context information associated with this first content can be obtained to select at least a second content, which can be rendered by the terminal when it is used by the current user. It is noted that, in at least certain embodiments, this selection does not require explicit authorization from the first user. For example, in certain embodiments, if the first content is a photograph of a mountain, all the photographs of mountains can be selected without specific action from the first user.
[0017] In other words, the proposed solution can help to share content on a terminal, in a secure manner for the first user of the terminal.
[0018] According to a particular embodiment, the change of user is detected by means of at least one sensor associated with the terminal. Such a sensor can be integrated into the terminal, or coupled to the terminal via communication means.
[0019] According to a particular embodiment, at least one sensor integrated into the terminal is used to detect a change of user. In particular, one or more sensors can be activated upon detection of the opening of a particular application (for example opening of a multimedia gallery type application on the terminal or opening of an application dedicated to content management), detection of the selection of the first content, detection of a movement of the terminal, etc.
[0020] For example, the sensor belongs to the group comprising: - an accelerometer, - a gyroscope, - a camera, - a biometric sensor, - a touch sensor, - a microphone.
[0021] Thus, according to a first example, such a sensor is of the camera type. Optionally, a facial recognition module can be coupled with the camera of the terminal. In particular, the facial recognition module can detect whether the user of the terminal is the first user (such as the main user or the owner of the terminal for example) or another user. As indicated above, the camera can for example be activated when a particular application is opened, the first content is selected by the first user, a movement of the terminal is detected, etc., and the facial recognition module can identify that it is the first user.
[0022] According to a second example, which may optionally be combined with the first example, such a sensor is of the fingerprint sensor type. For example, such a sensor may be activated when a particular application is opened, the first content is selected by the first user, a movement of the terminal is detected, etc., and a fingerprint recognition module may identify that it is the first user.
[0023] According to a third example, which may optionally be combined with the first and / or the second example, such a sensor is of the microphone type. Optionally, a voice recognition module may be coupled with the microphone of the terminal. In particular, the voice recognition module may detect whether the user of the terminal is the first user or another user. As indicated previously, the microphone may for example be activated when a particular application is opened, the first content is selected by the first user, a movement of the terminal is detected, etc.
[0024] In particular, such sensors (biometric sensors of the camera type and / or fingerprint sensor and / or microphone for example) can be activated a plurality of times (for example regularly, such as every second or every 5 seconds, so as to quickly detect a change of user.
[0025] Alternatively or additionally, such sensors may be activated following detection of movement of the terminal. Such movement of the terminal may be detected by for example by means of a gyroscope or an accelerometer coupled to the terminal.
[0026] According to another particular embodiment, the change of user is detected by means of at least one sensor external to the terminal.
[0027] Thus, according to this other embodiment, equipment external to the terminal can be used to detect a change of user, for example an external camera (surveillance camera, wall camera, etc.) or an external microphone. Such external cameras / microphones can in particular be controlled by a third-party service which allows the identification of users and possibly the transmission of this information to the terminal. The terminal can in particular receive information from the external sensor(s), which allows it to detect a change of user.
[0028] In a particular embodiment, different sensors can be used to detect a change of user, for example at least one sensor integrated into the terminal and at least one external sensor.
[0029] According to a particular embodiment, said at least one piece of context information associated with the first content comprises at least one theme of the first content.
[0030] Here, the theme of a content is understood to mean a theme, a subject represented by this content. For example, a theme may be the city of Paris, and the contents of photos of the city of Paris, texts on the city of Paris, audio guides on the city of Paris, etc. Another theme may be the sea, and the contents of photos of holidays at the sea. Another theme may be the family, and the contents of photos of the people making up the family. Another theme may be a person, and the contents of the photos in which this person appears. Yet another theme may be sunny weather, an accident scene, etc.
[0031] Thus, according to this embodiment, the theme of another content of the first user must be similar to the theme of the first content so that this other content can be a second content selected and rendered by the terminal, following a change of user.
[0032] In particular, if several themes are associated with the same content, only the contents having at least one theme in common with the first content can be returned following a change of user. Alternatively, only the contents whose main theme is the same as that of the first content can be returned. Alternatively, if several themes are associated with the same content, this content is filtered (i.e. here cannot be selected to be returned), unless for example the current user is authenticated as being the first user.
[0033] According to a particular embodiment, said at least one piece of context information associated with the first content comprises at least one piece of metadata associated with the first content.
[0034] Metadata is understood here to mean additional information relating to content, such as the date of creation of the content (for example the date of taking a photograph), the place of creation of the content (for example the GPS coordinates of a photograph), etc.
[0035] Thus, according to this embodiment, the metadata of another content of the first user must be similar to that of the first content so that this other content can be a second content selected and rendered by the terminal following a change of user.
[0036] For example, content having the same creation date as the first content, or a close creation date (for example, of the order of a few days or a few weeks) can be selected to be returned. Alternatively or additionally, content having a geographical position close to the first content (for example, of the order of a few kilometers or a few tens of kilometers) can be returned.
[0037] Indeed, it is considered that if the first user authorizes the sharing of the first content, he probably wishes to authorize access to other content presenting close or correlated metadata.
[0038] Conversely, according to certain embodiments, if a first content and a second content present a similar theme, but different metadata (for example two photos of the same place taken two years apart), the second content will not be selected and cannot be rendered on the terminal.
[0039] In particular, the context information may include both one or more metadata and one or more themes.
[0040] According to a particular embodiment, the selection of at least one second content takes into account a similarity between at least one of said context information associated with the first content and at least one context information associated with the second content.
[0041] According to this embodiment, it is thus possible to measure a similarity between the context information, for example by calculating metrics, and to select the contents having a difference in metrics less than or equal to a first value, such as a threshold value (predetermined for example), for example a value fixed by configuration.
[0042] In particular, if the context information associated with a content is far from the context information associated with the first content (for example with a difference between the metrics greater than the first value), it is possible, in certain embodiments, to ask the current user of the terminal to authenticate, following the detection of a change of user. If this is the first user, the content can be rendered by the terminal, otherwise it is not rendered.
[0043] According to a particular embodiment, the selection of at least one second content also takes into account at least one piece of information relating to the current user of said terminal.
[0044] For example, such information relating to the current user may be a profile of the user.
[0045] According to this particular embodiment, it is thus possible to authorize access to the second content according to the profile of the current user. Thus, if the new user is a child, he will not have access to the same content as if he is an adult. If the new user is a stranger (for the biometric recognition module (face, voice, iris, fingerprint, for example)), he will not have access to the same content as if he is a person known to the first user (and the biometric recognition module).
[0046] For example, by using a facial recognition module, it is possible to estimate the age of the user of the terminal, or to check whether this user appears in the contacts of the first user, or in photos of the first user, etc.
[0047] In particular, the list of profiles can be configured at least partially manually (by the first user or a trusted third party - for example a parent who configures their child's terminal) or automatically. In particular, it can be established or enriched dynamically, for example by learning.
[0048] For example, it is possible to indicate, for at least one profile, the themes to which a user presenting this profile has access.
[0049] According to another embodiment, such information relating to the user may be an identification of the current user. For example, a facial recognition module is used to detect the presence of the current user on photos and / or videos of the first user, and the terminal of the first user may only render the contents on which the current user is detected.
[0050] According to another embodiment, the method according to the invention comprises a configuration phase, during which the context information associated with content capable of being rendered by the terminal is identified.
[0051] According to certain embodiments, the first user can for example define filtering criteria himself. For example, if context information includes a theme of the family vacation type, the first user can indicate that all the content associated with this theme is private and is not intended to be shared / restored by the terminal following a change of user. The first user can thus identify the context information, associated with a first content, which must be found in another content so that it is selected to be restored to another user.
[0052] Alternatively, such a setting may be automatic (default setting by example) or semi-automatic.
[0053] In at least one embodiment, the selection of the first content implements the reception of an oral request by said terminal, prior to said change of user.
[0054] Thus, the selection of a first content can be implemented by the first user by navigating on the terminal (for example by means of a touch screen, a keyboard, a mouse, etc.) or by issuing an oral request (for example using a microphone type sensor integrated into the terminal).
[0055] In the various embodiments, the contents belong to the group comprising: an image, and / or a video, and / or a sound, and / or a text, and / or multimedia content, and / or animation, etc.
[0056] It is noted that such contents can be stored in a memory of the terminal, and / or on a remote server, and / or in the “cloud”, etc. The expressions “contents of the terminal” or “contents of the first user” are used interchangeably to designate the contents belonging to the first user accessible at least to the first user via the terminal.
[0057] The invention also relates to a terminal of a first user capable of rendering at least one corresponding content, comprising at least one processor configured to: select, via a human-machine interface of said terminal, a first content suitable for being rendered by the terminal, detect a change of user of the terminal, render at least one second content, selected taking into account at least one contextual information associated with the first content.
[0058] Such a terminal is particularly suitable for implementing the method for managing the restitution of content described above. This may be, for example, a smartphone, a computer, a tablet, etc. Such a terminal may of course be adapted to implement the various characteristics relating to the method according to the invention, which may be combined or taken in isolation. Thus, the characteristics and advantages of the terminal are the same as those of the method described above. Consequently, they are not detailed further.
[0059] The invention also relates to one or more computer programs comprising instructions for implementing a method for managing the restitution of content as described above when this or these programs are executed by at least one processor.
[0060] The invention further relates to one or more computer-readable recording media, on which are recorded one or more computer programs comprising program code instructions for executing at least one step of a method for managing the restitution of contents as described above, according to any one of the embodiments. Such recording media may be any entity or device capable of storing a program.
[0061] 4. List of figures
[0062] Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will appear more clearly on reading the following description of a particular embodiment, given as a simple illustrative and non-limiting example, and the appended drawings, among which: - [Fig. 1] illustrates the main steps implemented by a method for managing the restitution of contents according to an embodiment of the invention; - [Fig.2] illustrates the interactions between an application dedicated to restitution of content (e.g. a gallery), a terminal and a user; - [Fig.3] presents the simplified structure of a terminal according to a mode of realization particular lization.
[0063] 5. Description of a particular embodiment
[0064] 5.1 General principle
[0065] The general principle of the invention is based on obtaining at least one piece of context information associated with a first content that a first user wishes to share on a terminal, and the automatic selection of other contents (at least one) that can also be shared by the first user, taking into account the context information associated with the first content.
[0066] Thus, only a second content selected taking into account the context information associated with the first content can be rendered by the terminal, if the current user of the terminal is not the first user.
[0067] The proposed solution thus implements a detection of a change of user. If no change of user is detected, i.e. if the current user of the terminal is still the first user, there are no restrictions on access to the contents. On the other hand, if a change of user is detected, i.e. if the current user of the terminal is not the first user, there is a restriction on access to the contents. Such a restriction may possibly be lifted if the first user gives a specific authorization, or authenticates after a change of user has been detected (for example using a password, a sensor biometric type. Similarly, such a restriction can be lifted when the current user is again recognized as the first user.
[0068] The main steps implemented by a terminal of a first user according to an embodiment of the invention are presented below, in relation to [Fig. 1].
[0069] During a first step 11, a first content Cl is selected via a human-machine interface of the terminal, by the first user of the terminal, and can be rendered by the terminal (or rendered, in English “rendered”). It is considered that the first user of the terminal (i.e. the owner of the terminal, the main user of the terminal, a user having an account on the terminal or having unlocked access to the terminal, etc.) wishes to share this first content.
[0070] Optionally, it is possible to verify during this first step that the current user of the terminal is indeed the first user, for example by using a biometric recognition module. In this way, it is ensured that the first content (and consequently the context information associated with it) is indeed selected by the first user.
[0071] During a second step 12, a change of user is detected, for example because the first user lends his terminal to another user, for example during or just after the rendering of the first content. Such a step of detecting a change of user can thus be implemented simultaneously or successively with the first step 11 of selecting a first content.
[0072] Following detection of a change of user, access to the contents of the first user may be limited.
[0073] Thus, during a third step 13, at least one second content C2 is selected taking into account at least one piece of context information associated with the first content C1 and can be rendered by the terminal. Such a step of rendering at least one second content can be implemented simultaneously or successively with the second step 12 of detecting a change of user.
[0074] In other words, according to this embodiment, the proposed solution makes it possible, following the detection of a change of user during rendering or following the rendering of the first content (or more generally before the rendering of another content), to create an ephemeral gallery with the first content C1 and the second content(s) C2, based on at least one piece of context information (for example one or more themes) obtained from the first content C1 selected by the first user. Navigation in the other galleries accessible via the terminal, and therefore consultation of the contents not belonging to this ephemeral gallery, may be prohibited when the current user of the terminal is not the first user. For example, the terminal may lock itself if the current user is not the first user, or does not benefit from specific authorization from the first user. In particular, a “kiosk” mode can be activated on the terminal, according to which the current user will only be able to access one or more applications authorized by the first user or a trusted third party.
[0075] For example, the first user, via the system application, the gallery application, or another dedicated application, can activate a secure mode authorizing the implementation of the invention. The first user can then lend his terminal to another user, and this new user can only consult the contents selected from the first content (itself selected by the first user).
[0076] Optionally, a validation step may be implemented after the selection of a first content and before the first user entrusts his terminal to another user. For example, the second content(s) selected from the context information associated with the first content (or a preview of these second contents) may be rendered by the terminal. If the first user agrees with this selection, he may validate the selection and lend his terminal to a second user. The second user will then only have access to the first content and the second content(s) selected, but not to all of the first user's content. If the first user does not agree with this selection, he can modify it manually, for example by preparing an ephemeral gallery himself via a selection of one or more themes, or content associated with one or more themes, or select other content as “first content”.
[0077] 5.2 Description of an example of implementation
[0078] An example of implementation of the invention is described below, according to which the contents are of the image / photograph type. As already indicated, other contents, also called “media”, may be considered according to the invention, for example of the video, sound, text, etc. type.
[0079] The first user has a set of photos visible in the gallery of his terminal, for example family photos taken at home, family photos taken during a walk in the forest, photos of animals taken in a zoo, photos of animals taken in a museum, etc.
[0080] Different themes can be associated with these photos, either automatically (for example by software analysis of the content of the images), or manually (for example by adding a label or "tag" to the photo), or semi-automatically (for example by software analysis of the content of the image and manual correction of the proposed themes). Thus, family photos taken at home can be associated with the themes "family" and "home", family photos taken during a walk in the forest can be associated with the themes "family", "nature" and "forest", photos of animals taken in a zoo ... themes "animal" and "zoo", photos of animals taken in a museum can be associated with the themes "animal", "museum", etc. It is notably possible to define a main theme and one or more secondary themes for the same photo. For example, if we consider a photo of animals taken in a museum, we can assign a percentage or score to each theme according to the number of pixels illustrating animals in the photo (for example 75% for the theme "animal" and 25% for the theme "museum").
[0081] The first user selects, for example, a photo representing an animal from his gallery (first content), then lends his terminal to a second user. The terminal detects the change of user and automatically modifies the access rights to the gallery.
[0082] In particular, the terminal obtains at least one piece of context information associated with the photo representing an animal (first content), corresponding to the content currently rendered at the time of user change detection or to the last content rendered before user change detection. For example, the context information associated with the photo representing an animal (first content) includes the themes “animal” and “museum”.
[0083] The terminal can then select at least one second content by taking into account a similarity between at least one piece of context information associated with the first content (for example the themes “animal” and “museum”) and at least one piece of context information associated with the second content. For example, it is possible to determine vector representations of the contents to determine their themes and to be able to compare them.
[0084] For example, the terminal (or an application activated on the terminal) can create a sub-gallery in which only the photos associated with the themes “animal” and / or “museum” are visible. Alternatively, the terminal can create a sub-gallery in which only the photos associated with the theme “animal” are visible, or in which only the photos whose main theme is the theme “animal” are visible.
[0085] In this way, only the photos in this sub-gallery are accessible by a current user other than the first user.
[0086] Thus, according to this embodiment illustrated by way of example in [Fig.2], a first user can consult his gallery (media consultation 211), accessible on a terminal T 21. The terminal T 21 (for example via the system application, the gallery application, or another dedicated application) can in particular check (user verification 221) whether the current user of the terminal T 21 is the first user. Such a check can for example be implemented when opening the gallery application G 22, periodically and / or randomly, upon detection of a change of theme in the content returned, etc. For example, the terminal T 21 detects that the current user is the first user via the entry of a personal code by the user U 23, biometric recognition or any other authentication technique (authentication 231).
[0087] If the current user of the terminal T 21 is the first user, the gallery application is completely unlocked and reacts normally: all media can be viewed and all functionalities are accessible (access authorized to all media 222).
[0088] If the terminal T 21 detects that the current user is not the first user (for example following the detection of a change of user 212, loss of facial or touch recognition, etc.), the gallery application is restricted (restriction 213). For example, the terminal obtains at least one piece of context information associated with the first content (last content rendered) and only authorizes access to a second content if the context information associated with this second content is similar to the context information associated with the first content (last content rendered). The terminal can in particular detect the theme(s) associated with the last content / media rendered, and only authorize access to other local content / media sharing one or more of these themes.
[0089] The various modules that can be implemented according to certain embodiments of the invention are described in more detail below. These various modules can be activated in a different order than that described.
[0090] For example, the detection 12 of a change of user of the terminal can be implemented by a first module. To do this, such a module can use one or more sensors, internal and / or external to the terminal, for example of the accelerometer, gyroscope, biometric sensor type (camera, fingerprint sensor, microphone, etc.), etc.
[0091] Depending on the sensor(s) used, the detection of user change can be done in different ways.
[0092] Thus, according to an embodiment implementing a camera of the terminal, a facial recognition technique can be used to detect the current user, and identify whether it is the first user or another user.
[0093] According to an embodiment implementing a fingerprint sensor of the terminal, a fingerprint recognition technique can be used to detect the current user, and identify whether it is the first user or another user.
[0094] According to an embodiment implementing an accelerometer of the terminal, a movement can be detected (such as the passing from hand to hand of a telephone-type terminal). If such a movement is detected, it may be a change of user. Confirmation can optionally be obtained by correlating the in training obtained from at least one other sensor (fingerprint, facial recognition, etc.).
[0095] Alternatively, the user change detection module may use one or more sensors not installed on the terminal to help it detect a user change, for example an external camera. Such sensors may in particular be managed by a third-party service, independent of the terminal or the terminal operator, which may for example provide the terminal with information on the identity of people near the terminal, on the detection of a user change, etc.
[0096] Such a module can in particular detect the presence of several people near the terminal (for example less than one meter). In particular, such a module can detect if several people are looking at the terminal screen.
[0097] According to a particular embodiment, if the first user is detected among the group of people, there is no restriction of access to the contents of the terminal. Optionally, a notification can be generated, to inform the first user that several people are near the terminal, and may possibly have access to the contents of the terminal.
[0098] If the first user is not detected among the group of people, this means that the current user of the terminal is not the first user, and there may be a restriction of access to the contents, as described previously.
[0099] For example, the gallery application can lock itself, and offer access only to the most recently rendered content or to a set of content that has similarities to the most recently rendered content. Filtering of authorized content is presented in more detail below, in connection with the filtering module.
[0100] In particular, such a user change detection module can in particular communicate with a module for identifying a current user.
[0101] Such an identification module makes it possible in particular to check whether the current user of the terminal is the first user or another user.
[0102] Several techniques can be used to identify the current user of the terminal, depending on the technical capabilities of the terminal: biometric recognition (voice, touch, etc.), entering a code, drawing a pattern, etc.
[0103] For example, such a module can be activated when launching the gallery application or another dedicated application, periodically or randomly, with each change of the main theme of photos, etc.
[0104] In particular, such a module makes it possible to establish a profile for the current user: this is the first user or another user.
[0105] Alternatively, the list of profiles may be greater than two (first user or other user) to provide more finesse in the filtering of content, such as for example detecting whether the user is a child or not, a known person of the first user or not (for example a face present or not in the contents of the first user, or a person present in the contacts of the first user, etc.).
[0106] According to certain embodiments, this list of profiles can be established by learning, pre-configured, filled in by the first user, etc. Thus, for the different profiles, it is possible to configure, for example in the gallery application, in a dedicated application, or in the system application, the content to which a user with this profile will have access. For example, a parent will be able to have access to photo-type content with a “family” theme. A child will not be able to have access to photo-type content with a “bars” theme, etc.
[0107] Such configuration of profiles is for example carried out via a human-machine interface, such as an application configuration screen.
[0108] The user profile can thus be taken into account, in addition to the context information associated with the first content, for the selection of at least one second content to be rendered, for example by a filtering module as described below.
[0109] Thus, the selection of at least one second content taking into account at least one piece of context information associated with the first content, with a view to its restitution 13, can be implemented by a content filtering module. Such a module can thus establish a list of content whose restitution by the terminal is authorized.
[0110] As already indicated, such a module can in particular take into account a similarity between at least one piece of context information associated with the first content (which corresponds to the last content rendered on the terminal before the detection of a change of user) and at least one piece of context information associated with the second content.
[0111] For example, such a filtering module implements steps of: - obtaining at least one piece of context information associated with the second content, - comparison of at least one piece of context information associated with the first content and at least one piece of context information associated with the second content, - selection of the second content if said at least one piece of context information associated with the first content is similar to said at least one piece of context information associated with the second content.
[0112] Metrics may in particular be determined to measure the similarity between the context information.
[0113] For example, the compared context information is the themes of the first and second contents, in particular the main themes of the first and second contents. As already indicated, certain contents may be associated with multiple themes. For example, only content that has at least one theme in common with the first content can be selected and rendered by the terminal. Alternatively, content that has at least a first percentage of themes in common with the first content (for example 80% of common themes, this percentage being adjustable) can be selected and rendered by the terminal. This selection criterion can be configured in the filtering module, for example by the first user or a trusted third party, or be a default criterion.
[0114] In some embodiments, the compared context information is metadata of the first and second content (e.g., the location and / or date of creation of the first and second content).
[0115] In other embodiments, the selection of at least one second content also takes into account at least one piece of information relating to the current user of the terminal.
[0116] For example, the selection of at least one second content also takes into account the profile of the current user. Thus, if the current user is a child, he or she will not have access to the same content as if the current user is an adult. In other words, a first filtering can be implemented to pre-select certain content by taking into account the context information associated with the first content (for example by pre-selecting content with a theme similar to that of the first content), and a second filtering can be implemented on this pre-selection to exclude certain content by taking into account the profile of the current user.
[0117] Alternatively, the selection of at least one second content also takes into account the identity of the current user. As already indicated, the terminal may only render, among the “second” contents selected, the contents on which the current user is detected.
[0118] The filtering module therefore makes it possible to analyze the different contents associated with the terminal and to identify those which meet the filtering criteria.
[0119] In at least one embodiment, the first user can, before lending his terminal to another user, define certain filtering criteria, for example by choosing himself the metadata and / or themes to be taken into account in the filtering of the contents. For example, the themes of the first content selected by the first user can be dynamically presented to the first user, who can manually choose, via a human-machine interface, the theme(s) to which he wishes to authorize access, and thus accelerate the creation of an ephemeral sub-gallery.
[0120] The filtering module can in particular communicate with the detection module of a change of user. In particular, if the latter module detects the presence of several people near the terminal, and the first user is not part of this group of people, the filtering module can authorize access only to the first content. Alternatively, the filtering module can authorize access to the first content and to at least one second content selected by taking into account at least one piece of context information associated with the first content. This is again a selection criterion which can be configured in the filtering module, for example by the first user, or be a default criterion.
[0121] The various modules for detecting a change of user, for identification, and for filtering can communicate with each other. They can in particular implement artificial intelligence to identify a current user, recognize a current user in content, determine the theme(s) associated with content, determine the metadata(s) associated with content, compare context information, etc.
[0122] A user interface can also be implemented so that the user of the terminal can interact with these different modules.
[0123] For example, such an interface can be used to configure filtering criteria, define profiles, themes, associate themes with content, etc. Such an interface can also be used to display a list of the second content(s) selected and adapted to be rendered by the terminal.
[0124] In a particular embodiment, such an interface makes it possible to manage the authorized functionalities in relation to a user profile. For example, depending on the detected user profile (first user, child, friend, etc.), gallery management parameters can be set (gallery display duration, prohibited themes, etc.).
[0125] 5.3 Simplified structure of a terminal
[0126] We now present, in relation to [Fig.3], the simplified structure of a terminal according to at least one embodiment described above.
