[0050] [Fig.2] is a schematic representation of a pendulum shaker implemented within the framework of the invention.

[0051] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF EMBODIMENTS

[0052] In the following description, terms relating to a position are taken with reference to the ground.

[0053] The single FIG. shows a recycling method 100 according to the invention.

[0054] The recycling method 100 applies to products made from thermoplastic filaments 52, in particular HDPE, contaminated by materials of different natures 54, called undesirable materials. These are, for example, nets made from HDPE loaded with straw residues and dust after use. The recycling method 100 makes it possible to best separate the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the undesirable materials 54 and to provide a recycled raw material based on the original thermoplastic called “secondary raw material”.

[0055] The recycling method 100 successively comprises:

[0056] - a feeding step 102 during which the thermoplastic filaments 52 mixed with unwanted materials 54 are placed in bundles on a horizontal conveyor belt,

[0057] - a spreading step 103 during which the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the unwanted materials 54 are spread horizontally so as to form a uniform sheet of thermoplastic filaments 52 and the unwanted materials 54 which is conducted to the next step,

[0058] - a horizontal cutting step 104 during which the sheet of thermal filaments moplastics 52 and unwanted materials 54 is leveled in a direction parallel to the conveyor belt, in particular to a thickness of the order of 8 to 10 cm,

[0059] - a stretching and shaking step 140 during which the sheet of filaments thermoplastics 52 and unwanted materials 54 thus leveled is stretched and shaken,

[0060] - a first cutting step 106 during which the sheet of thermo filaments plastics 52 and unwanted materials 54 is cut in a first vertical direction, in particular using a guillotine, forming sections,

[0061] - a second cutting step 108 during which the sections of sheets of thermoplastic filaments 52 and unwanted materials 54 are cut in a second vertical direction orthogonal to the first vertical direction, in particular using a guillotine,

[0062] - a first suction step 110 during which the thermo filaments plastics 52 and unwanted materials 54 thus cut are sucked upwards while the heavy elements fall downwards and are recovered and separated from the thermoplastic filaments 52,

[0063] - a fraying step 118 during which the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the unwanted materials 54 thus sucked up are frayed, that is to say unraveled by stretching which causes among other things the detachment of dust,

[0064] - a beating step 120 during which the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the unwanted materials 54 thus frayed are beaten allowing the separation of the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the unwanted materials 54,

[0065] - a pre-grinding step 122 during which the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the unwanted materials 54 thus beaten are ground into fibrils of 12 to 15 mm,

[0066] - an agglomeration step 124 during which the thermoplastic fibrils 52 and the unwanted materials 54 thus ground are compacted in the form of thermoplastic agglomerates, while the unwanted materials 54 and a small portion of non-agglomerated thermoplastic fibrils mix and form fines,

[0067] - a grinding step 126 during which the thermoplastic agglomerates and the fines are ground in such a way as to standardize the size of the agglomerates to approximately 12 mm (i.e. + / - 3 mm) which makes it possible to increase the apparent density and to have agglomerates which can be worked better subsequently,

[0068] - a separation step 128 during which the thermoplastic agglomerates and the fines thus ground and made uniform are separated by gravity, and

[0069] - a recovery step 130 during which the thermo agglomerates Plastics thus separated from the fines are recovered and stored and constitute recycled thermoplastic.

[0070] Such a recycling method 100 makes it possible to gradually eliminate the majority of the undesirable materials 54 mixed with the thermoplastic filaments 52, in particular in the case of HDPE nets, by separating the straw from the HDP. The method comprises a succession of steps which deconstruct the original materials according to different methods to separate each time a portion of the undesirable materials 54 from the thermoplastic filaments 52. In addition, the recycling method 100 does not use water, which avoids having to purify this water after treatment and thus makes the recycling method 100 particularly ecological and the stretching and shaking step 140 improves the separation of the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the undesirable materials 54.

[0071] According to a particular embodiment, in order to eliminate static electricity, the recycling method 100 comprises between the first suction step 110 and the shredding step 118:

[0072] - a misting step 112 during which the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the unwanted materials 54 thus sucked up are moistened by a water mist,

[0073] - a mixing step 114 during which the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the unwanted materials 54 thus moistened are stirred, and

[0074] - a second suction step 116 during which the thermo filaments plastics 52 and unwanted materials 54 thus mixed are sucked upwards, while the heavy elements fall downwards and are recovered to exit the process.

[0075] The spreading step 103 makes it possible to form a sheet of thermoplastic filaments 52 and undesirable materials 54 which is sufficiently dense and regular to then be able to undergo the horizontal cutting step 104.

[0076] The cutting steps 104, 106 and 108 make it possible to cut the thermoplastic filaments 52 in three directions and to limit the size of the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the undesirable materials 54 and thus to prevent these thermoplastic filaments 52 from catching during subsequent steps.

[0077] The stretching and shaking step 140 ensures better separation of the thermoplastic filaments 52 and unwanted materials 54 before subsequent steps.

[0078] The suction steps 110, 116 make it possible to separate the light elements (thermoplastic filaments 52 and the plant fibers of the undesirable materials 54) from the heavy elements (certain undesirable materials 54) which are too heavy to be sucked up, such as for example piles of wet straw or gravel. In fact, the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the light elements of the undesirable materials 54 which remain mixed therein are sucked upwards while the heavy waste is evacuated downwards.

[0079] When present, the misting step 112 also promotes the sliding of the thermoplastic filaments 52 and unwanted materials 54 relative to each other. and subsequent combing and detangling.

[0080] The fraying step 118 is carried out for example using a machine called an “opener” which disentangles the tufts using opening cylinders fitted with points. The high-speed rotation of the cylinders divides and parallelizes the thermoplastic filaments 52 and retains part of the waste 54. The elements which are not disentangled are rejected.

[0081] The threshing step 120 is carried out for example using a machine called a “threshing machine” which comprises a plurality of spiked rollers arranged upwardly one after the other. By successive actions, the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the undesirable materials 54 are combed, which tends to separate and clean them. A portion of the undesirable materials 54 thus separated is rejected downwards while the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the remainder of the undesirable materials 54 (in particular plant fibers) continue their ascent until they exit the threshing machine.

[0082] The agglomeration step 124 consists of introducing the thermoplastic fibrils 52 and undesirable materials 54 into a machine called a “compactor” which generally has a fixed disk and a rotating mobile disk. The disks are radially grooved and the friction allows a rise in temperature which will agglomerate the thermoplastic fibrils 52 in the form of thermoplastic agglomerates. The compactor takes advantage of the agglomeration conditions which are different between the thermoplastic fibrils 52 and the undesirable materials 54 (in particular the plant fibers) which prevents the agglomeration of the thermoplastic fibrils 52 and the undesirable materials 54 between them.

[0083] The various steps are carried out by suitable machines. Between the various machines, the materials are preferably transported by a pneumatic conveyor which allows dust removal before entering the next machine, in particular by removing the dust which has been separated from the thermoplastic filaments 52 during the previous step. A particular embodiment of the separation consists of arranging a suction fan which generates sufficient depression to suck the materials leaving the machine into a pipe. Depending on the power of the fan, elements which are too heavy to be sucked up fall onto a collection belt. A particular embodiment of dust removal consists of separating the dust and the materials to be treated by means of filters and gravity. The small dust particles then pass through the filters and are evacuated with the air, while the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the larger unwanted materials 54 are blocked by the filters and fall, with the disappearance of the air flow lift, into the machine carrying out the subsequent treatment step.

[0084] A recycling line applying to thermoplastic filaments 52 mixed with undesirable materials 54, and implementing the recycling method 100 above then successively comprises:

[0085] - feeding means configured to deposit the thermoplastic filaments 52 mixed with unwanted materials 54 on the horizontal conveyor belt,

[0086] - spreading means configured to spread the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the unwanted materials 54 in order to form a uniform sheet of thermoplastic filaments 52 and unwanted materials 54 and conduct it to the following means,

[0087] - horizontal cutting means configured to level the sheet of thermal filaments moplastics 52 and undesirable materials 54 in a direction parallel to the conveyor belt, in particular with a thickness of the order of 8 to 10 cm,

[0088] - stretching and shaking means configured to stretch and shake the web of thermoplastic filaments 52 and unwanted materials 54 from the horizontal cutting means,

[0089] - first cutting means, such as for example a guillotine, configured to cutting the sheet of thermoplastic filaments 52 and unwanted materials 54 in a first vertical direction, in order to form sections,

[0090] - second cutting means, such as for example a guillotine, configured to cut the sections of sheets of thermoplastic filaments 52 and of undesirable materials 54 in a second vertical direction orthogonal to the first vertical direction,

[0091] - first suction means configured to suck the filaments upwards thermoplastics 52 and unwanted materials 54, while heavy elements fall downwards and are recovered,

[0092] - fraying means configured to fray thermoplastic filaments 52 and unwanted materials 54,

[0093] - beating means configured to beat the thermoplastic filaments 52 and unwanted materials 54,

[0094] - pre-grinding means configured to grind thermoplastic filaments 52 and unwanted materials 54 in the form of fibrils of 12 to 15 mm,

[0095] - agglomeration means configured to compact thermo fibrils plastics 52 in the form of thermoplastic agglomerates,

[0096] - grinding means configured to grind and thus standardize the agglomerates thermoplastics with a size of approximately 12 mm,

[0097] - separation means configured to separate the agglomerates by gravimetry thermoplastics and fines, and

[0098] - recovery means configured to recover the thermo agglomerates plastics.

[0099] In the case of the presence of misting, the recycling line comprises between the first suction means and the shredding means:

[0100] - misting means configured to humidify the thermo filaments plastics 52 and unwanted materials 54 by water misting,

[0101] - stirring means configured to stir the thermoplastic filaments 52 and unwanted materials 54, and

[0102] - second suction means configured to suck upwards the thermoplastic filaments 52 and unwanted materials 54.

[0103] The spreading means and the horizontal cutting means are for example constituted by an automatic loader from the company Pierret Industries called a “robot” which allows, thanks to retractable teeth animated by a back-and-forth movement, to spread the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the undesirable materials 54 towards an outlet channel where a sheet is formed and which has at the outlet a horizontal cutting system constituting the horizontal cutting means.

[0104] The stretching and shaking means consist for example of a pendulum shaker 200 such as that shown in side view in [Fig.2].

[0105] The pendulum shaker 200 has an inlet 200a through which the elements to be shaken, i.e., the web of thermoplastic filaments 52 and unwanted materials 54, are introduced and an outlet 200b through which the elements are discharged after being shaken and the elements move between the inlet 200a and the outlet 200b along a conveying direction 200c. The discharged elements comprise the web of thermoplastic filaments 52 and unwanted materials 54 minus a portion of the unwanted materials 54 which are extracted during shaking.

[0106] The pendulum shaker 200 comprises a frame 202 on which is mounted a grid 204 which has an upward slope along the transport direction 200c between the inlet 200a and the outlet 200b and which is perforated to allow the extraction of at least a portion of the undesirable materials 54 by gravity through the grid 204.

[0107] The pendulum shaker 200 comprises a plurality of combs 206 with teeth 206a where the combs 206 are arranged horizontally and one after the other along the transport direction 200c above the grid 204.

[0108] Each comb 206 is mounted to rotate on the chassis 202 around a tilting axis 206b horizontal and perpendicular to the transport direction 200c.

[0109] The pendulum shaker 200 also comprises motorized means for moving the teeth 206a in a pendulum movement around the tilting axis 206b.

[0110] In the embodiment of the invention presented here, the motorized means comprise a bar 208, a motor 210 and a connecting rod 212.

[0111] All the combs 206 are coupled to the bar 208 and each comb 206 is mounted articulated on the bar 208 around an axis of rotation 206c.

[0112] The motorized means also comprise the motor 210 whose motor shaft 210a is rotatable around a motor axis 210b horizontal and perpendicular to the transport direction 200c.

[0113] The motorized means also comprise the connecting rod 212, a first end of which is mounted to be able to rotate on the motor shaft 210a around a first axis 212a parallel to the motor axis 210b and offset relative to the latter, and a second end of which is mounted to be able to rotate on the bar 208 around a second axis 212b parallel to the motor axis 210b.

[0114] Thus, when the drive shaft 210a rotates, the first end of the connecting rod 212 makes a back and forth movement, which is transmitted to the second end.

[0115] Due to the movement of the second end, the bar 208 also performs a movement from bottom to top and vice versa and due to the pivot connection of the combs 206 around the tilting axis 206b, the combs 206 and therefore the teeth 206a perform rocking movements (double arrow 220) around the tilting axis 206b, which causes a stretching and shaking of the elements which separate and rise along the grid 204.

[0116] The web of thermoplastic filaments 52 and the remaining unwanted materials 54 are then transported from the outlet 200b to the first cutting means.

[0117] The first cutting means and the second cutting means consist, for example, of two guillotine cutters from the company Pierret Industries and called CT60.

[0118] The suction means consist, for example, of a transfer fan from the company Laroche and called VT 540 TR, and combined with a heavy body trapping system from the company Laroche and called ODT.

[0119] The misting means consist, for example, of a piping sizing unit from the Laroche company and called OT.

[0120] The mixing means consist, for example, of a mixing box from the company Laroche and called SM 3900. Such a device makes it possible to homogenize the elements to be separated.

[0121] The fraying means consist, for example, of an opener from the company Laroche and called Excel 2000.

[0122] The threshing means consist, for example, of a cleaning-threshing machine from the company Laroche NB 6T 2000.

[0123] The pre-crushing means consist, for example, of a grinder from the company Herbold and called SML 60 / 100-S5-2.

[0124] The agglomeration means consist, for example, of a buffer silo with an endless screw which forces the materials between the discs of the compactor consisting, for example, of a densifier from the company Herbold and called HV 70 / 250.

[0125] The grinding means consist, for example, of a grinder from the company Herbold and called SML 45 / 100-S4-2.

[0126] The separation means consist, for example, of a gravimetric separator from the company Herbold and called SZS 630 / 200.

[0127] The recovery means consist of any means allowing thermoplastic agglomerates to be stored, such as a silo for example.

[0128] The entire recycling line is grounded and the humidity level is controlled to eliminate static electricity that can form from friction of the plastic waste.

[0129] Prior to the feeding step 102, the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the undesirable materials 54 undergo a drying step. For this purpose, the recycling line comprises, before the feeding means, drying means such as, for example, a pulsed hot air dryer. This drying step makes it possible to lower the humidity level of the thermoplastic filaments 52 and the undesirable materials 54 to 15% (i.e. + / - 3%). Such drying subsequently prevents the overly wet elements from sticking together or in the machines.

[0130] The recycling method 100 may also have, after the recovery step 130, an extrusion step during which the recovered thermoplastic agglomerates undergo extrusion. To this end, the recycling line comprises, after the recovery means, extrusion means such as, for example, a suitable extruder.
