Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: A timber frame construction system comprising beams with lateral recesses, and a method based on such a system
[0001] The invention relates to the field of timber frame construction systems comprising a timber frame, posts and beams.
[0002] The innovation covers more specifically the field of positioning and anchoring timber-framed construction modules (timber frame, posts, beams) on a construction site. These modules are lifted using cranes and positioned one on top of the other, and one next to the other.
[0003] In this area, there is an increasing need to optimize construction, and in particular to ensure: - a gravity load descent in accordance with the specifications of the design office; - an alignment of the anchorages of the vertical and horizontal stability sails; - installation and monitoring of anchors in accordance with the specifications of the design office; - a limited number of reservations to be left in the modules, allowing for a very high level of prefabrication; and - a productivity gain in module removal.
[0004] Thus, one objective of the invention is to remedy the defects of the prior art, and to propose an optimized construction system allowing self-positioning of the wooden structure modules on top of each other at the time of removal, and rapid and auditable anchoring of the various stability walls of these modules.
[0005] To achieve this objective, the invention proposes a system for constructing a wooden structure, comprising wooden stackers formed by vertical beams; characterized in that the stackers have at least one horizontal recess at the ends, supporting ceiling or upper floor planks.
[0006] Advantageously, the recesses allow the ceiling or floor boards to be supported.
[0007] According to one variant, the stackers extend over more than one floor.
[0008] This allows for rigid reinforcement on one floor.
[0009] According to one variant, the stackers have at least two horizontal recesses perpendicular in a plane perpendicular to a beam axis.
[0010] This allows beams to be supported on different horizontal edges around the stacker.
[0011] According to one variant, the stackers are made of wood or steel.
[0012] This allows the invention to be applied to a timber frame structure and the system to be fixed to the rest of the timber frame.
[0013] According to one variant, the construction system further includes hook-shaped fittings, and anchor rods attached to the fittings, for anchoring vertical walls, and the assembled anchor rods extend over more than one story.
[0014] This ensures self-positioning of wooden structure modules on top of each other at the time of removal; as well as rapid and auditable anchoring of the various stability walls of these modules.
[0015] According to one variant, the fittings support a floor or ceiling and are supported by a rod.
[0016] This allows the floor or ceiling to be reinforced securely and effectively.
[0017] According to one variant, the fittings are fixed to a wooden reinforcement piece.
[0018] This helps to reinforce the rigidity of the construction.
[0019] According to one variant, the fittings comprise three plate segments perpendicular to each other, with at least one rod passing through the first and / or the third plate segment.
[0020] This allows for an assembly of large rods.
[0021] According to one variant, the construction system further comprises flat gussets fixing the floors and horizontal diaphragms. According to one variant, the gussets are in the form of metal plates.
[0022] This allows for more space above the slats fixed together.
[0023] The invention further relates to a wooden structure construction kit, for a construction system according to the invention, the construction kit comprising: - the stackers; - the gussets; and - the fittings and the anchor rods.
[0024] Another object of the invention relates to a method for constructing a wooden structure, using a construction system according to the invention, the construction method comprising the following steps: - set up the stackers; - to install ceiling or upper floor planks on said horizontal recess at the ends of the stackers.
[0025] The invention will be further detailed by describing non-limiting embodiments, and based on the accompanying figures, among which: - [Fig.1] illustrates a view in space of a spacer of a construction system according to a preferred variant of the invention; - [Fig.2] illustrates a view in space of the spacer of the previous figure in a timber frame construction, seen from the front and back; - [Fig.3] illustrates a view in space of a gusset of a construction system according to a preferred variant of the invention, fixing two slats; - [Fig.4] illustrates a view in space of a fitting and two anchor rods of a construction system according to a preferred variant of the invention, on one floor; - [Fig.5] illustrates a cross-sectional view of the fittings and rods of the previous figure in a timber frame construction, seen from the front of the fitting; - [Fig.6] illustrates a cross-sectional view of the fittings and rods in a two-story timber frame construction, seen from the fitting side.
[0026] The invention relates to a system for constructing a wooden structure.
[0027] This type of construction includes a timber frame, posts and beams. It requires on-site positioning and anchoring of timber-framed construction modules, timber frames, posts, and beams.
[0028] The construction system includes wooden stackers E formed by vertical beams.
[0029] According to the invention, the stackers E have at least one horizontal recess RI, R2, R3, R4 at the ends, illustrated in [Fig. 1]. These reinforcements support floorboards P and slats L for the upper floor or ceiling. In particular, the stackers E have at least two horizontal recesses RI, R2, R3, R4 perpendicular to a beam axis.
[0030] These recesses define a beam base B below and a beam apex A above. The beam apex A includes fixing holes F0 for attaching floor or ceiling slats. These fixing holes F0 receive fasteners V such as screws.
[0031] In the preferred embodiment, the stackers E are made of wood or steel. Preferably, the stackers E extend over more than one level.
[0032] The construction system further includes hook-shaped fittings F, and anchor rods T fixed to the fittings F, for anchoring vertical sails.
[0033] As can be seen in [Fig. 4], the fittings F comprise three perpendicular plate segments. The first segment is horizontal and lower, the second is vertical and intermediate, and the third is horizontal and upper. The lower rod T passes through the first plate segment. Another upper rod T passes through the third plate segment.
[0034] Furthermore, according to the invention, the anchor rods T assembled together to a fitting F, extend over more than one story.
[0035] In particular, the fittings F support a floor or ceiling and are supported by a rod T.
[0036] As can be seen in [Fig.6], the fittings F are fixed to a wooden reinforcement piece R.
[0037] The construction system further comprises flat gussets G fixing the floors and horizontal diaphragms. Preferably, the gussets G are in the form of metal plates. They can connect several boards or slats together as illustrated in [Fig. 3].
[0038] The invention further relates to a corresponding construction kit. The construction kit includes the stackers E, the gussets G, the fittings F and the anchor rods T described above.
[0039] The invention also relates to a corresponding construction method.
[0040] The construction process includes steps for setting up the stackers E, the gussets G, the fittings F, and the anchor rods T, and the finalization of the construction.
