Description

Title of the invention: Dental surgery multi-stage guide device Technical field of the invention

[0001] The present invention falls within the medical field of dental surgery.

[0002] As is known, a dental surgeon or "dentist" performs endodontic procedures for the treatment of teeth, but also extractions, as well as implantology of dental prostheses, in replacement of extracted teeth, and also in the case of partial or total edentulism.

[0003] In this context, the implantation of dental prostheses is carried out using a dental surgery guide device. Such a guide allows the practitioner to correctly implant and fix each dental prosthesis during the surgery.

[0004] To achieve this, such a guide device is configured to cover and rest upon the dentition to be operated on, and is then secured to the dentition or transfixed into the bone when there are no longer any teeth. In particular, on the front face of the guide device, wells in the form of sleeves are provided, serving as guides for drilling through the bone via the gum, for the insertion of screws that will hold the guide device in place throughout the surgery.

[0005] It should be noted that such a guide device is made to measure of the dentition to be treated, by molding or by medical imaging, then a manufacturing step, in particular by injection or computer-aided three-dimensional printing known as "3D printing". State of the art

[0006] A known guide device is described as "multi-stage" and comprises a base, intended to rest on the dentition or be transfixed, securing it to the jaw, and a removable part, intended to rest on said base and be secured to it. Said removable part has two types, used successively during the surgical operation.

[0007] A first removable part is a tooth-supported positioning guide used to correctly position the base on the dentition or jaw. Such a positioning guide corresponds to a mold of the dentition and, once bonded to the base, allows the guide device to be fitted onto the dentition or jaw. Once in place, the base can then be secured or transfixed. The positioning guide is then detached from the base and replaced by another removable part, dedicated to the implant surgery to be performed.

[0008] This second type of removable part, called a "surgical guide" or "guide to The implant surgery guide is equipped with a socket positioned opposite the implant to be placed within the dentition, allowing drilling into the jawbone and implantation of the dental prosthesis. Once the implant insertion holes are made, the surgical guide is removed.

[0009] Next, the base is removed or preferably left in place during the implantation of the dental prostheses, to facilitate the introduction of said prostheses. Finally, the base is removed, notably by cutting or breaking it.

[0010] Further on, the retention of each removable part in support on the base is achieved by interlocking, for example by means of complementary male / female parts provided in alignment on the base and on the removable part, or even by magnetization between them.

[0011] Another solution consists of locking means in the form of upper and lower holes, arranged in reciprocal alignment through the removable part and the base. These holes are intended to cooperate by the insertion of a fixing key.

[0012] In particular, the insertion of the key into the orifices is carried out by force, in particular by notching grooves made on the periphery of said key with complementary grooves cut into the wall of the orifices.

[0013] In addition, in order to facilitate the insertion and notching of the key, it may comprise an overall conical or frustoconical shape, while the sections of the orifices are provided to converge in the direction of insertion.

[0014] Such a wedge-type fixation presents several drawbacks, making the fixation precarious. Misalignment of one of the wedges is likely to alter the position of the removable part on the base, particularly when applying the force required to insert the wedges into the holes. Similarly, a wedge that is not fully inserted does not ensure proper support between the base and the removable part, so it is not uncommon for the latter to detach during surgery.

[0015] Furthermore, in the case of implanting multiple dental prostheses, the multi-stage guide may comprise several removable parts, corresponding to the implants to be positioned. It is therefore necessary to replace the removable part with another during surgery. In this case, forced insertion, especially by notching, complicates the practitioner's task of removing each key.

[0016] Moreover, the complementary grooves of the holes are liable to deteriorate, making the attachment of the other removable part to the same base even more precarious. Description of the invention

[0017] The invention aims to overcome the drawbacks of the prior art by proposing a multi-stage guide device for dental surgery with a locking mechanism Each removable part on the base is secured by means of a locking mechanism achieved through the rotation of one or more keys within holes. Specifically, once rotated, each key is locked in its axial direction of insertion, ensuring that the removable part remains firmly supported on the base.

[0018] To remove the removable part, it is sufficient to turn the key, in particular in the opposite direction, until it is again allowed to move freely along the axial direction and to be extracted from the corresponding orifice.

[0019] To this end, the multi-tiered dental surgery guide device, shaped to cooperate in support and fixation on a dentition to be treated, comprises - a lower base provided with a front face equipped with drilling wells and for solidifying said base; - at least one removable part, shaped additionally to rest on said base; - said base comprising means for interlocking and said removable part comprising complementary means for interlocking; - means of locking said removable part into place on said base. Such a guiding device is characterized by the fact that said locking means include at least one locking member provided - of a lower ring attached to said base, a lower opening being provided within said lower ring; - of at least one upper ring attached to said removable part, an upper opening being provided passing through said upper ring; the lower opening being aligned with the upper opening by fitting the removable part onto the base; - of at least one key having a body surmounted by a head, said body being globally cylindrical and complementaryly shaped to cooperate and come into position for insertion through said upper orifice within said lower orifice in an axial direction.

[0020] Such a guiding device is also characterized in that - said key includes at least one lower lug projecting laterally; - said lower ring includes a lower groove shaped complementary to said lower lug; - from the insertion position of said key, said lower lug is mobile in rotation along said lower groove towards a locking position of said upper ring on said lower ring, and vice versa; - in the locked position, the lower lug is locked within the groove inferior along said axial direction.

[0021] According to additional, non-limiting features, - the upper opening includes an upper recess formed along the axial direction and intended to pass through, said upper recess being shaped complementaryly to at least said lower lug; - the lower opening includes a lower recess formed along the axial direction and complementaryly shaped to at least said lower lug; allowing the insertion of said key in said axial direction through said upper ring within said lower ring.

[0022] According to one embodiment, said key comprises - an upper lug projecting laterally and aligned with said lower lug; - said upper ring includes an upper groove shaped complementary to said upper lug; - from the insertion position of said key to the locking position, and vice versa, said upper lug is locked within said upper groove in said axial direction.

[0023] According to one embodiment, at least said lower groove extends angularly around said lower orifice, preferably at an angle of at least 30°, preferably at an angle of about 90°.

[0024] According to one embodiment, the axial direction of insertion of said key is oriented with respect to the vertical.

[0025] According to one embodiment, said lower ring and said upper ring are oriented according to a determined angular position in a median plane of said guide device and orthogonal to said axial direction.

[0026] According to one embodiment, at least said lower ring comprises an oblong shape having an offset attachment area on said base.

[0027] According to one embodiment, said lower orifice has a bottom pierced with an extraction hole for said key.

[0028] According to one embodiment, said head is provided with gripping means in the form of at least one bore, preferably two bores provided through.

[0029] According to one embodiment, said gripping means comprise at least two flares arranged in opposition in the upper part of said body.

[0030] According to one embodiment, said body comprises a distal end provided with a chamfer.

[0031] According to one embodiment, said key includes between the body and the head a locking means by bearing on the upper ring, preferably in the form of a disc extending transversely with respect to said body.

[0032] According to one embodiment, said locking means include - at least two locking devices distributed around said guide device, preferably in opposition on either side of said guide device.

[0033] According to one embodiment, said locking means include - three locking mechanisms distributed frontally and on each side of said guide device.

[0034] Thus, such a tiered guide device makes it possible to ensure that the removable part is held on the base and that it can be replaced safely and repeatedly during surgery if necessary.

[0035] In addition, the orientation of the key allows, in particular, for visual verification of the locking of the elements together. Presentation of the drawings

[0051] The present invention relates to a guide device 1 for dental surgery.

[0052] Such a guide device 1 is shaped to cooperate in support and fixation on a dentition to be treated. In other words, during a preliminary step, a practitioner creates said device 1 custom-made to the dentition to be treated, by molding or by medical imaging, then a manufacturing step, notably by injection molding or three-dimensional printing, or by machining, in a computer-aided manner known as "3D printing". The resulting guide device 1 is therefore perfectly conformed to the morphology of each patient to be treated.

[0053] This preliminary step can be reproduced for each patient, for each dentition, lower or upper to be treated.

[0054] It should be noted that, according to the examples of embodiments shown, the guide device 1 is intended for the treatment of lower dentition. The terms lower and upper are then understood with regard to the direction from said lower jaw, from bottom to top. Naturally, guide device 1 is adapted for the treatment of the upper jaw, by reversing the direction and the corresponding terms.

[0055] Advantageously, said guide device 1 is multi-tiered, meaning that it has several distinct and removable parts that are attached to one another during the dental surgery operation. In particular, the different parts overlap and interlock with one another and are secured together in the interlocking position, notably by means of a removable fastener.

[0056] Further on, according to the invention, the guide device 1 firstly comprises a base 2.

[0057] Such a base 2 is located inferiorly during an operation on the lower jaw. Conversely, it can be positioned superiorly for an operation targeting the upper jaw.

[0058] Said base 2 is provided with a front or vestibular face 20 comprising boreholes 21 for drilling and securing said base 2. These boreholes 21 are made through said front face 20 of the base 2, opening out on both sides.

[0059] Such wells 21 generally have a cylindrical and tubular shape. The wells 21 can be formed in the thickness of said base 2 or projecting from said front face 20, so as to form a tube of a length suitable to facilitate the introduction of the tool by the practitioner, such as a drill bit, and to ensure its guidance along each of said wells 21, namely along the longitudinal median axis of each of said wells 21.

[0060] Once the drilling has been completed, the wells 21 can be fitted with suitable fastening means, such as so-called "pin" screws, which cooperate within the previously drilled wells. Once in place, the screws ensure the fastening and retention of said base 2 on the jaw.

[0061] It should be noted that the inner perimeter of each of the wells 21 can incorporate a metal tube, providing rigidity and strength suitable for the drilling operation. Such a metal tube can be incorporated within the wells 21 during the manufacturing step of said guide device 1, at the time of molding, machining, or 3D printing.

[0062] Furthermore, the number and positioning of the wells 21 relative to said base 2 are determined according to certain characteristics related to the surgical operation, such as the patient's morphology or the number of implants.

[0063] From then on, the base 2 serves as a plinth, which is fixed on the jaw, and allows other parts of said guide device 1 to be received from above, in overlapping fashion.

[0064] Thus, the guide device 1 further comprises at least one part, shaped additionally to bear on said base 2. Such a part is provided to be removable, namely that it can be positioned and fixed provisionally on the base 2, and then replaced during the surgical operation.

[0065] In this respect, as mentioned previously, this removable part can be of different types, preferably of two distinct types, sometimes of three different types.

[0066] A first type of removable part comprises a positioning guide 3 for use with a tooth support. Such a guide 3 serves to correctly position the base 2 on the dentition or jaw. To this end, the positioning guide 3 corresponds to a mold of the dentition, in particular the upper or coronal part, such as a mold of the teeth. Furthermore, the base 2 corresponds to a mold of the lower part of the dentition. The upper face of the base 2 then corresponds to the lower face of the positioning guide 3, allowing them to come into contact with each other, thus forming a mold of the two upper and lower parts of the dentition.

[0067] Thus, once secured to the base 2, the positioning guide 3 allows the guide device 1 to be fitted onto the dentition or jaw. In place, the base 2 can then be secured or transfixed, as mentioned above, notably through the drilling step via the wells 21 and the tightening of the screws. The positioning guide 3 can then be detached from the base 2 and replaced by another removable part of a different type, specifically designed for the implant surgery to be performed.

[0068] Accordingly, a second type of removable part, called a "surgical guide 4," is used for implant surgery and comprises at least one implant socket 40 for a dental prosthesis, preferably several. Such a socket 40 functions similarly to the wells 21, allowing the practitioner's tool to be guided during the procedure, in particular to create the cavities in the jaw that will receive the future implants. Similarly, the socket 40 can be in the form of a metallic insert, generally in the shape of a flattened tube, incorporated during the manufacture of this removable part.

[0069] In addition, as with the positioning guide 3, the surgical guide 4 includes a lower face coming into contact with the upper face of said base 2.

[0070] Thus, during the surgical operation, the guide device 1 with its base 2, surmounted by the positioning guide 3, is placed on the dentition, and then the base 2 is fixed. The positioning guide 3 is then removed, to position the guide 4. Surgical procedure, with each of the 40 sockets positioned opposite the dental prosthesis to be implanted within the dentition, thus allowing drilling into the jawbone. The surgical guide 4 can then be removed (as well as, if necessary, the base 2), in order to implant the corresponding dental prostheses.

[0071] It should be noted that the base 2 can be kept in place during implantation, to facilitate the introduction of said prostheses, and then extracted at the end of the operation, in particular by cutting or breaking it.

[0072] In this respect, a third type of removable part is called a "temporary pedestal" and serves as a support for one or more temporary teeth, constituting the patient's new dentition. Such a temporary pedestal interacts with the base 2 in the same way as the other types of removable parts. Once secured in the mouth, the attachments to the base 2 will be cut in order to remove said base 2.

[0073] Other types of removable part can be envisaged, corresponding to an intermediate or additional dental surgery step and which cooperates on the base 2, in the same way as other types of removable parts.

[0074] Fig. 1 shows two removable parts in the form of a positioning guide 3 and a surgical guide 4, which can be interchanged and mounted on the base 2. In this example, the surgical guide 4 comprises six sockets 40.

[0075] Further on, each removable part is made fixed to the base 2 by interlocking and locking.

[0076] On the one hand, said base 2 comprises interlocking means 5, and said removable part comprises complementary interlocking means 50. In other words, the means 5, 50 are shaped and dimensioned to cooperate by interlocking with each other. Furthermore, this interlocking is provided in a vertical or substantially vertical direction, from top to bottom, until the removable part comes into contact with and rests on the base 2. Moreover, in the interlocking position, the base 2 and the removable part are fixed together, limiting their freedom of movement relative to each other, in particular preventing lateral movements in a horizontal or substantially horizontal direction. Thus, in the interlocking position, the means 5, 50 only allow vertical movement of the removable part relative to the base 2, from bottom to top.

[0077] According to one embodiment, as shown in Figures 1 to 4, the interlocking means 5,50 comprise interlocking members, operating in pairs, with a lower part of the interlocking means 5 provided on the base 2 and an upper part of the complementary interlocking means 50 provided on the removable part.

[0078] Furthermore, each pair of interlocking members includes a housing 51, intended to internally receive a removable pin 52, or a pair of so- magnets 51.

[0079] According to the embodiment shown in [Fig. 1], said pin 52 has an overall cylindrical shape.

[0080] According to one embodiment, the pin 52 extends outward from the base 2 or the removable part, to cooperate within a corresponding housing 51, in the manner of a male part inserted within a female part.

[0081] According to another embodiment, the pin 52 can be removable, fitting into two housings 51 provided each on the base 2 and on the removable part.

[0082] In addition, such a pin 52 may have a height less than or equal to (or even greater than in the removable case) the depth of the housings 51, in the form of blind holes, protruding to ensure interlocking by inserting into each of them.

[0083] It should be noted that the pin 52 has dimensions complementary to the housings 51, with a clearance allowing its insertion and extraction. Furthermore, the insertion and extraction of the pin 52 can be carried out in a precise manner within the housings 51, by forcing it in, in order to ensure sufficient friction between the periphery of the pin 52 and the inner wall of the housings 51, to prevent the base 2 and the removable part from separating during handling.

[0084] According to another embodiment, the interlocking means 5,50 may include centering lugs, of any shape preferably in frustoconical form, extending from the base 2 or from the lower face of the removable part, to cooperate respectively by insertion within a housing 51 provided on the lower face of the removable part or on the upper face of said base 2. In addition, the housings 51 may have an inclined wall which cooperates to perfectly center the parts with each other when the cones are inserted into the housings 51.

[0085] Furthermore, each pair of interlocking members can have different dimensions, in particular pairs of small members and pairs of larger members. The larger members allow the interlocking to begin, while the smaller members allow for refining and finalizing the interlocking of the removable part onto the base 2.

[0086] It should also be noted that one of the lower housings 51 is integral with the base 2, while the other housing 51 is integral, in the corresponding case, with the positioning guide 3 and the surgical guide 4, or even with the temporary platform. These two upper housings 51 are similar, namely that they have identical dimensions, positions, and orientations to ensure the positioning opposite or in alignment of said housings 51, in order to insert said pin 52 (or the magnets), when the corresponding removable part is attached for insertion.

[0087] Thus, once the base 2 and the removable part are fitted together, it is possible to manipulate the guide device 1 thus formed, for example to position the base 2 and the positioning guide 3 on the dentition to be treated. Similarly, once the base 2 is fixed to the dentition, it is possible to remove the positioning guide 3, in order to fit the surgical guide 4.

[0088] Furthermore, the guide device 1 includes means 6 for locking said removable part into place on said base 2. In other words, once the removable part is fitted onto the base 2, the two can be temporarily locked together. In short, the locking mechanism limits the degree of freedom of movement in the vertical or substantially vertical direction, allowing the removable part to be fitted together on the base 2.

[0089] According to one embodiment, the locking means 6 can replace the interlocking means 5.50, or can be included within the interlocking means 5.50.

[0090] Advantageously, said locking means 6 comprise at least one locking member, preferably several, distributed around the guide device 1, on the front or vestibular side, on the opposite inward or lingual or palatal side, on the right side and / or on the left side.

[0091] According to one embodiment, said locking means 6 comprise at least two locking members distributed around said guide device 1, preferably in opposition on either side of said guide device 1.

[0092] According to a preferred embodiment, as seen in figures 1 to 4, said locking means 6 comprise three locking members distributed frontally and on each side of said guide device 1.

[0093] Said locking member is provided with several elements intended to cooperate with each other through a mechanical assembly, in particular by keying, namely that two of the elements are fixed and made solid together by a third element, namely a key 9.

[0094] More specifically, each locking means 6 includes a lower ring 7 integral with said base 2.

[0095] Said lower ring 7 may have any geometric shape, with straight or rounded edges.

[0096] According to a preferred embodiment, as seen in figures 1 to 4, at least said lower ring 7 comprises an oblong shape having an offset attachment area on said base 2.

[0097] In addition, a lower orifice 70 is provided within said lower ring 7. Said lower orifice 70 has a round or circular cross-section.

[0098] Such a lower orifice 70 may be provided as a through hole, but preferably blind, namely that it has a base 71. This base 71 can then serve as a stop when inserting the element intended to ensure keying (i.e. via said key 9).

[0099] According to one embodiment, said lower orifice 71 has a bottom 71 pierced with a hole 72 for extracting said key 9. This hole 72 allows the end of a jaw of a specific clamp to be inserted, in order to push said key 9 out from below, when it is inserted into the lower orifice 70.

[0100] Each locking means 6 also includes at least one upper ring 8 integral with said removable part.

[0101] Depending on the type of removable part, an upper ring 8 is therefore mounted on the positioning guide 3 and another is mounted on the surgical guide 4, or even another on the temporary platform. These upper rings 8 of the same locking member are similar, namely that they have identical dimensions, positions, and orientations to cooperate in coupling with the lower ring 7 equipping said base 2, when the corresponding type of removable part is fitted onto said base 2.

[0102] Said lower ring 7 may have any geometric shape, with straight or rounded edges.

[0103] According to the corresponding preferred embodiment, as shown in Figures 1 to 4, said upper ring also comprises an oblong shape, intended to complement the oblong shape of said lower ring 7. Moreover, this oblong shape of the upper ring 8 has an offset attachment area on the corresponding removable part.

[0104] In addition, an upper orifice 80 is provided passing through said upper ring 8. Said upper orifice 80 has a round or circular cross-section, with a diameter identical or substantially identical to the diameter of the lower ring 7.

[0105] Each locking means 6 also includes at least one key 9. This key 9 serves to ensure the retention and locking of the rings 7,8 together, by cooperating by introduction within the orifices 70,80, thus ensuring their keying.

[0106] As mentioned previously, this keying is possible because the lower orifice 70 is aligned with the upper orifice 80 when the removable part is fitted onto the base 2 (or, at the time of fitting, the successive introduction of the keys 9 allows the removable part to be centered on the base 2, in order to gradually obtain an alignment of the orifices 70, 80, to ensure the desired fit).

[0107] To do this, said key 9 is provided with a body 90 surmounted by a head 91.

[0108] Such a head 91 can have any geometric shape. According to a preferred embodiment, said head 91 generally has a rectangular parallelepiped shape, in particular with rounded corners and / or upper edges.

[0109] According to one embodiment, said head 91 is provided with gripping means in the form of at least one bore 93, preferably two bores 93 provided through, or even three bores 93. Such bores 93 are internally dimensioned to allow the insertion of the ends of the jaws of a clamp, in particular of a hemostatic type clamp, also known as "Kocher", preferably with said jaws or tips curved.

[0110] Figures 5 and 6 show an example of an embodiment with a head 91 having two bores 93, while Figures 13 and 14 show an example of an embodiment of a head 92 having three bores 93.

[0111] According to one embodiment, said gripping means comprise at least two flared recesses 94 arranged in opposition in the upper part of said body 90. Such flared recesses 94 are therefore provided in the upper part of the body 90, on either side of the head 91, preferably symmetrically. These flared recesses 94 form cavities or notches facilitating the gripping of the key 9 on each side of the head 91, in particular by pinching.

[0112] The flares 94 can have any concave geometric shape, preferably rounded.

[0113] Fig. 6 shows an example of an embodiment showing one of the two flares 94 in the shape of an arc of a circle, made in a hollow in the upper part of said body 90, under the head 91.

[0114] Said body 90 is generally cylindrical. It has an external diameter identical or substantially identical to the internal diameter of the orifices 70, 80, except for the clearance allowing the key 9 to be inserted and extracted.

[0115] According to one embodiment, said body 90 comprises a distal end provided with a chamfer 92, namely that the peripheral edges of said lower end are inclined. Such a chamfer 92 facilitates the insertion of the key 9 into the holes 70, 80, and optionally centers them relative to each other.

[0116] Furthermore, said body 90 of the key 9 is complementaryly shaped to cooperate and come into insertion position through said upper orifice 80 within said lower orifice 70 in an axial direction.

[0117] It will be noted that said axial direction extends parallel to the longitudinal median axis of the body of each key 9. This axial direction may correspond to the direction of the fit, namely along a vertical or substantially vertical direction of the fit, or along a direction inclined with respect to said vertical direction, according to the corresponding embodiment.

[0118] According to one embodiment, the axial direction of insertion of said key 9 is oriented with respect to the vertical. In other words, the median axis of each key 9 has an angle with respect to a horizontal or substantially horizontal plane. or relative to the median plane of said guide device 1, in particular the plane extending along the contact surface of the base 2 and the removable part.

[0119] Such a vertical orientation of the rings 7,8 is configured and achieved during the manufacture of said guide device 1.

[0120] An example of orientation with respect to the vertical is shown in particular on [Fig.4], where the rings 7,8 located on the left have a greater angle of inclination than the rings 7,8 located on the right.

[0121] According to one embodiment, said lower ring 7 and said upper ring 8 are oriented at a predetermined angular position in a median plane of said guide device 1 and orthogonal to said axial direction. In other words, the rings 7, 8 can be rotated in a horizontal or substantially horizontal plane, in order to adapt to the patient's morphology and facilitate the fitting, as well as the insertion and extraction of the key 9.

[0122] Such an angular orientation of the rings 7,8 is configured and achieved during the manufacture of said guide device 1.

[0123] An example of angular orientation in the median plane is shown in particular in [Fig.3], where the rings 7,8 located on the left have a slightly larger angle in the median plane than the rings 7,8 located on the right.

[0124] According to one embodiment, said key 9 is made from a durable, high-quality material suitable for the dental field, preferably from a ceramic material, preferably a technical ceramic such as zirconium dioxide-based ceramic, commonly referred to as "zirconia," or from a metal-based material such as surgical steel, titanium, or a chromium-cobalt alloy. Furthermore, zirconia is sterilizable, allowing its reuse from one surgical procedure to another.

[0125] Advantageously, the locking of the removable part on the base 2 is achieved by the key 9, once inserted within said rings 7,8. In other words, each key 9 cooperates mechanically within its component in order to ensure the locking of the rings 7,8 together.

[0126] To this end, said key 9 comprises at least one lower lug 95 projecting laterally. In particular, said lower lug 95 projects beyond the periphery of the body 90 of said key 9, forming a notch or a tooth in the mechanical sense of the term.

[0127] According to a preferred embodiment, said lower lug 95 has a prism shape, with two inclined sides and a distal face parallel or substantially parallel to the periphery of said body 90.

[0128] Furthermore, said lower ring 7 includes a lower groove 73. In short, the inner wall of the lower orifice 70 is hollowed out or forms a projection on a part of its periphery, constituting said lower groove 73. In addition, the rest of the periphery is free, allowing said lower lug 95 to pass through, in particular during its insertion or extraction along the axial direction.

[0129] Said lower groove 73 is shaped complementaryly to said lower lug 95. In other words, the lower groove 73 has a profile or cross-section corresponding to the profile or cross-section of the tooth formed by said lower lug 95.

[0130] From the insertion position of said key 9 (i.e., along the axial direction), said lower lug 95 is free to rotate along said lower groove 73 towards a locking position of said upper ring 8 on said lower ring 7. Indeed, when the lower lug 95 rotates within the lower groove 73, the head of the key 9 presses against the upper ring 8, locking the rings 7, 8 together. In other words, only the key 9 can rotate about itself, blocked by the rings 7, 8, with any other freedom of movement, such as translations. Thus, in the locked position, said lower lug 95 is locked within said lower groove 73 along said axial direction.

[0131] Conversely, from the locking position, in which the key 9 is turned so that the lower lug 95 is in an angular position within said lower groove 73, by applying a rotation of said key 9 until said lower lug 95 comes out of said lower groove 73, releasing the movement of the key 9 which can be extracted from the lower orifice 70 of said lower ring 7.

[0132] According to one embodiment, particularly in the case of a single lower lug 95 provided on the key 9, the latter comprises, between the body 90 and the head 91, a locking means by bearing on the upper ring 8, preferably in the form of a disc 96 extending transversely with respect to said body 90, namely with a radius extending orthogonally or substantially orthogonally with respect to the longitudinal axis of said body 90. Such a disc 96 makes it possible in particular to stiffen all the fitted and locked parts, in particular the rings 7, 8 held in clamping by the key 9.

[0133] Fig. 5 shows an example of a key 9 equipped with a locking disc 96, the lower face of which bears against the upper face of the upper ring 8, in the insertion position, but especially in the locking position.

[0134] According to one embodiment, in order to allow the passage of the lower lug 95 through the upper ring 8, the upper orifice 80 comprises an upper recess 81 formed along the axial direction and intended to pass through. Such an upper recess 81 is complementary to at least said lower lug 95.

[0135] Similarly, the lower orifice 70 includes a lower recess 74 formed along the axial direction and complementary to at least said lower lug 95, allowing the insertion of said key 9 along said axial direction through said upper ring 8 within said lower ring 7.

[0136] It will be noted that the lower recess 74 is closed below by the bottom 71.

[0137] Figures 7 and 9 show examples of the recesses 74, 81.

[0138] According to one embodiment, the upper ring 8 is shaped similarly to the lower ring 7.

[0139] For this purpose, said key 9 includes an upper lug 97 projecting laterally and aligned with said lower lug 95.

[0140] It will be noted that the upper lug 97 can be offset relative to the lower lug 95, with corresponding offset recesses 74,81, to allow the insertion of the key 9 in two stages, with successive rotations for its insertion through the upper ring 8 until it cooperates in locking within the lower ring 7 (and vice versa during its extraction).

[0141] Furthermore, said upper ring 8 includes an upper groove 82 formed complementaryly to said upper lug 97.

[0142] Therefore, like the lower lug 95, from the insertion position of said key 9 to the locking position, and vice versa, said upper lug 97 is locked within said upper groove 82 in said axial direction. In other words, during rotation of the key 9, the lugs 95, 97 rotate within the corresponding grooves 73, 82, blocking the vertical or axial freedom of movement of said key 9.

[0143] Furthermore, in this configuration with two lugs 95,97 the clamped retention of the rings 7,8 is conferred directly by said lugs 95,97 cooperating within the grooves 73,82.

[0144] A disk 96 can also be added in this embodiment.

[0145] According to one embodiment, at least said lower groove 73 extends angularly around said lower orifice 70, preferably at an angle of at least 30°, in particular up to 180° (i.e. opposite from the lower recess 74), preferably at an angle of about 90°. Therefore, the lower groove 73, formed angularly on only one side of the lower ring 7, serves as a keying device, giving the key 9 a direction of rotation for its locking and a reverse direction for its unlocking.

[0146] According to another embodiment, said lower groove 73 can also go all the way around the lower orifice 70.

[0147] According to one embodiment, said upper groove 82 also extends angularly around said upper orifice 80, at an angle identical to the angle of the lower groove 73, or at a different angle.

[0148] Furthermore, in the case of grooves 73, 82 extending at a determined angle, the upper groove 82 extends in the same direction (clockwise or counterclockwise) from the recess 81 that the lower groove 73 from the recess 74.

[0149] Thus, the guide device 1 according to the invention, equipped with keyway locking elements as previously described, saves space in the mouth, facilitating access to the patient's various anatomical parts. Dental surgery is thereby made easier, notably allowing for improved blood drainage.

[0150] In addition, the keys 9 made of a suitable material allow them to be reused, respecting the restrictions of the surgical field.

[0151] In particular, the possible inclinations of the locking members, in or with respect to the plane, offers a freedom in the design and manufacture of the guide device 1, which was not possible until now.
