Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for detecting presence in a network controlled by an access gateway and comprising a plurality of equipment, said method comprising - a selection, from said plurality of equipment, of at least one equipment to be considered, from information relating to a duration or a frequency of activity of said equipment on said network, - a selection, from said equipment to be considered, from at least one identifier relating to a type of equipment, of at least one mobile equipment, - a selection, from said mobile equipment, of at least one personal equipment, from said information relating to a duration or a frequency of activity of said equipment on said network, - a detection of presence, of at least one user associated with said personal equipment, if said at least one personal equipment is connected, respectively disconnected.
