AI Technical Summary
Existing systems fail to effectively integrate employees with disabilities into the workforce by providing equal opportunities and recognition of their skills, leading to underutilization and exclusion from full participation in company activities.
A work pair system is introduced, where two employees with comparable education levels and equivalent responsibilities collaborate, sharing tasks and supporting each other, with the disabled employee's support time being included in overall workload, promoting inclusive work organization.
Enhances the inclusion and contribution of employees with disabilities, enriching their work experience and the department's knowledge exchange, while allowing them to provide value equal to non-disabled peers.
Abstract
Description
Title of the invention: Duo2Compétences in business
[0001] Presentation of the device:
[0002] It is an innovative system for the inclusion of employees with disabilities in companies.
[0003] This is a work pair with complementary skills formed between two employees of the same company, one of whom is disabled. For the duo to function properly, the two members of the pair have comparable levels of education and work on two positions with equivalent responsibilities. The members of the pair determine the tasks which, once the various workstation adjustments have been put in place, remain too difficult or impossible to carry out for the disabled employee. They then organize a distribution of work tasks between the two members of the pair, taking into account the skills and interests of each, which allows the pair to work collaboratively on several projects but also independently. Finally, in parallel with their individual missions, the duo employee supports the person with a disability on tasks that they have difficulty with, for example, summarizing documents. The time spent on this support is taken into account in the overall workload.
[0004] Working in Duo2compétences is enriching for both members of the pair and for the department in which it operates, it contributes to the exchange of knowledge and skills and allows both to cover a wider field of activity, to learn from the other and to develop new know-how. It is a system that promotes inclusion, it allows employees with disabilities to make their contribution and be an added value to the company on the same level as other employees in the group.
[0005] This model is duplicable, for different forms of handicap, physical and / or cognitive.
[0006] The applicants point out that this concept has been the subject of several requests for provisional grants, for which they do not intend to request priority, given the substantial modifications of the invention that have occurred since then (see appendix Summary of the inventors' prior art).
