According to the invention, the attachment system also comprises at least one additional locking member adapted to cooperate with a respective additional attachment recess formed on the reservoir.

[0007] Thanks to the invention, handling the mixing element is facilitated and its attachment to the tank is improved. Indeed, the additional locking mechanism makes it easier to attach the mixing element to the tank, thus ensuring good foaming performance and strengthening the foaming device. Furthermore, the first locking mechanism and each additional locking mechanism allow the mixing element to be easily attached to and detached from the tank for improved disassembly and ease of use. Simplifying the separation of the mixing element from the tank also allows for easy cleaning of these components by the user.

[0008] According to advantageous but not mandatory aspects of the invention, such a foaming device may incorporate one or more of the following features, taken in any technically permissible combination

[0009] According to an advantageous feature of the invention, each additional locking member is mechanically associated with the first locking member so that the movement of the first locking member between the locking and unlocking positions causes a corresponding movement of each additional locking member between a locking position in which the additional locking member is suitable for being received in the respective additional fixing housing, and an unlocking position in which the additional locking member is suitable for being extracted from the respective additional fixing housing.

[0010] Such an arrangement allows easy handling of the fastening system and thus easy separation of the mixing element from the reservoir while having a reliable and robust fastening system guaranteeing user safety and good milk foaming performance.

[0011] According to an advantageous feature of the invention, the fastening system comprises for each additional locking member a movable arm in rotation relative to the first locking member during its movement between the locking and unlocking positions, each arm being suitable during its rotation to drive in translation the corresponding additional locking member to move it between the locking position and the unlocking position.

[0012] Such an arrangement allows efficient transmission of the movement from the first locking member to each additional locking member and thus facilitates the handling of the fastening system and the separation of the mixing element from the tank.

[0013] According to an advantageous feature of the invention, the movement of the first locking member from the locked position to the unlocked position is carried out along a direction of movement extending from the first locking member to the additional locking members so as to reduce the distance between the first locking member and each additional locking member and during the movement of the first locking member from the locking position to the unlocking position each arm is suitable for moving the corresponding additional locking member in the direction of the first locking member.

[0046] In the following description, foam or foaming means obtaining foam from a liquid, whether it is only foam from that liquid (i.e., milk foam) or a mixture of that liquid and foam from that liquid (i.e., a mixture of milk and milk foam).

[0047] It should be noted that in this document, the terms "horizontal", "vertical", "lower", "upper", "top", "bottom", "front", "rear", "longitudinal", "transverse", used to describe the beverage dispensing machine and the associated elements These refer to the beverage dispensing machine and associated components in a usage situation, when the machine is lying flat on a work surface.

[0048] Furthermore, the terms "upstream" and "downstream" or "inlet" and "outlet" are defined according to a direction of flow of the beverage or steam in the beverage distribution machine and in the milk frothing device.

[0049] The terms "external" and "internal," as well as the terms "outside" and "inside," are defined with respect to a central axis of the beverage dispensing machine or milk frothing device. Thus, an internal portion / part will be closer to the central axis than an external portion / part.

[0050] The beverage dispensing machine shown in [Fig.1] is a coffee machine 10. Alternatively, the beverage dispensing machine is a hot water or tea dispensing machine.

[0051] The coffee machine 10, represented very schematically in [Fig.1], is advantageously an automatic coffee machine 10.

[0052] The coffee machine 10 includes a frame 12, a container support 14 on which a container can be placed and a beverage dispensing head 16. The beverage dispensing head 16 includes at least one nozzle, preferably two nozzles 18A, 18B, for dispensing coffee.

[0053] The coffee machine 10 includes a control circuit 20 for managing the preparation of a beverage based on instructions given by a user. The coffee machine 10 also includes a boiler 22 producing hot water and / or steam and a reservoir 24 forming a cold water reserve. The reservoir 24 supplies the boiler 22 to produce hot water and / or steam.

[0054] The coffee machine 10 also includes a hot water / steam outlet nozzle 26 suitable for being supplied with hot water and / or steam by the boiler 22.

[0055] In a known and not shown manner, the coffee machine 10 advantageously comprises a coffee bean reservoir, an automatic bean grinder and an infusion chamber suitable for receiving ground coffee beans and being supplied with hot water by the boiler 22. The infusion chamber is fluidly connected to the beverage distribution head 16 so that the coffee machine 10 is suitable for distributing a coffee-based beverage at the coffee outlet nozzles 18A, 18B.

[0056] According to the invention, the coffee machine 10 also includes a milk frothing device 30 suitable for being connected to the hot water / steam outlet nozzle 26.

[0057] As shown in figures 2 to 5, the milk foaming device 30 comprises a milk reservoir 32, a mixing element 34 adapted to be attached to the reservoir 32 and a milk supply tube 35 of the mixing element 34 intended to extend between the reservoir 32 and the mixing element 34.

[0058] The reservoir 32 is suitable for receiving milk intended to be foamed using the mixing element 34 which forms a foaming element.

[0059] The reservoir 32 delimits an internal volume intended to contain milk and comprising an opening 36, preferably at the top.

[0060] The tank 32 has for example a generally cylindrical shape and includes a bottom 38 and a circumferential wall 40 extending upwards from the bottom 38. The circumferential wall 40 defines for example a front face, 40A, a rear face 40B, a left side 40C and a right side 40D.

[0061] The reservoir 32 extends substantially along a central axis X which is substantially vertical in the use situation of the milk frothing device 30, in particular when the latter is connected to the hot water / steam outlet nozzle 26.

[0062] The opening 36 is advantageously a filling opening for the tank 32.

[0063] The bottom 38 and the circumferential wall 40 together define the internal volume.

[0064] The tank 32 includes a first mounting recess 42 for the mixing element 34 to the tank 32. The first mounting recess 42 is formed on the circumferential wall 40.

[0065] The tank also includes two additional fixing housings 46, 48 of the mixing element 34 to the tank 32. Namely, a first additional fixing housing 46 and a second additional fixing housing 48.

[0066] Alternatively, the tank includes a single additional mounting housing or more than two additional mounting housings.

[0067] Advantageously, as shown in [Fig. 5], the additional fixing housings 46, 48 are positioned opposite the first fixing housing 42. In other words, the additional fixing housings 46, 48 on the one hand and the first fixing housing 42 on the other hand are arranged on two opposite sides of the circumferential wall 40. The additional fixing housings 46, 48 are arranged for example on the left side 40C and the first fixing housing 42 is arranged for example on the right side 40D.

[0068] Advantageously, the first fixing housing 42 and the additional fixing housings 46, 48 are through-holes in a substantially radial direction with respect to the central axis X.

[0069] Advantageously, the reservoir 32 also defines a receiving housing 50 for a frothed milk distribution device 52, such as a spout, arranged for example on the left side 40C between the two additional fixing housings 46, 48.

[0070] Advantageously, the reservoir 32 defines a receiving housing 54 for a reversible connection member 56 of the milk frothing device 30 to the hot water / steam outlet nozzle 26.

[0071] The receiving housing 54 is visible on the [Fig.5] and is formed for example on the rear face 40B.

[0072] The mixing element 34 is arranged at the opening 36.

[0073] The mixing element 34 is adapted to be removably attached to the tank 32 at the level of opening 36 and advantageously to come and close opening 36.

[0074] The mixing element 34 forms a foaming element and comprises, as represented in [Fig. 5], a main body 58 and a covering organ 60 of the body main 58.

[0075] The main body extends along a central axis corresponding to the central axis X of the tank when it is fixed to the tank 32. In the rest of the description and on the drawings the central axis of the main body 58 is coincident with the central axis of the tank 32.

[0076] The main body 58 includes a mixing part 62, a hot water / steam inlet port 64 and a main flow conduit 66 connecting the hot water / steam inlet port 64 to the mixing part 62.

[0077] The main body 58 includes a reversible fixing system 70 for the mixing element 34 to the reservoir 32, more clearly visible in figures 6 and 7.

[0078] The main body 58 advantageously comprises the frothed milk distribution element 52 which is fluidly connected to the mixing part 62. The frothed milk distribution element 52 is intended to be positioned in the receiving housing 50.

[0079] The main body 58 also advantageously includes the connection member 56 of the milk frothing device 30 to the hot water / steam outlet nozzle 26.

[0080] The connecting member 56 opens onto a rear face of the frothing device 30 and is specifically designed to be received at the receiving recess 54 formed on the rear face 40B of the reservoir 32. When the frothing device 30 is connected to the coffee machine 10, the connecting member 56 is adapted to be connected to the hot water / steam outlet 26 so as to be supplied with hot water / steam. The connecting member 56 is configured to ensure the attachment / connection of the frothing device to the coffee machine 10 and, in particular, to the hot water / steam outlet 26.

[0081] The hot water / steam inlet orifice 64 is fluidly connected to the connecting member 56 so as to receive hot water / steam delivered by the hot water / steam outlet nozzle 26 when the connecting member 56 is connected to the hot water / steam outlet nozzle 26.

[0082] The main body 58 is intended to cover and in particular close the opening 36 and comprises a lower wall 71, an upper wall 72 and a circumferential wall 73.

[0083] The main body 58 includes in particular a shoulder 74 intended to cooperate with an edge of an upper end of the tank 32 when the mixing element 34 is attached to the tank 32.

[0084] Advantageously, the main body 58 comprises bearing members 75A, 75B against an inner face of the circumferential wall 40 visible in [Fig. 5]. The bearing members 75A, 75B are adapted to exert a radial bearing force against the inner face of the circumferential wall 40 to provide additional support for the main body 58 and, in particular, for the mixing element 34 on the tank 32. The bearing members 75A, 75B are, for example, elastically deformable tabs arranged on the circumferential wall 73. In [Fig. 5], only two bearing members 75A, 75B are visible. Advantageously, the main body comprises four bearing members regularly distributed along the circumferential wall 73.

[0085] The mixing part 62 includes a liquid inlet opening 76, a liquid outlet opening, not visible in the figures and a mixing chamber 78 extending between the liquid inlet opening 76 and the liquid outlet opening.

[0086] The mixing chamber 78 extends in a vertical direction parallel to the central axis X when the mixing element 34 is fixed to the tank 32.

[0087] The mixing chamber 78 includes an open upper end 80. The open upper end 80 forms an access opening to the mixing chamber 78.

[0088] The mixing chamber 78 opens into an upper face of the upper wall 72 of the main body 58.

[0089] The mixing chamber 78 has a substantially circular cross-section perpendicular to the vertical direction.

[0090] The liquid inlet opening 76 opens into an upper part of the mixing chamber 78, and for example into a high point of the mixing chamber 78 and the liquid outlet opening is located in a lower part of the mixing chamber 78, and is for example located at a low point of the mixing chamber 78.

[0091] The open upper end 80 is disposed on an upper face of the main body 58 and therefore of the upper wall 72.

[0092] The liquid outlet opening is fluidly connected to the frothed milk distribution member 52 so that the frothed milk distribution member 52 is able to be supplied with frothed milk via the liquid outlet opening and to distribute frothed milk into a cup positioned directly above the frothed milk distribution member 52.

[0093] The main flow channel 66 is provided in the upper face of the upper wall 72 and opens into the mixing chamber 78 at the level of the liquid inlet opening 76.

[0094] The main flow conduit 66 opens substantially tangentially into the mixing chamber 78, so that the mixing chamber 78 is of the cyclonic type. Thus, the liquid entering the mixing chamber 78 from the main flow conduit 66 flows through the mixing chamber, swirling along the walls of the mixing chamber 78.

[0095] As shown in [Fig. 5], the main flow conduit 66 includes a sectional restriction 84 located, for example, in a central portion of the main flow conduit 66. The main flow conduit 66 includes, in particular, a first conduit portion located upstream of the sectional restriction 84 and extending to the sectional restriction, and a second conduit portion located downstream of the sectional restriction 84 and extending from the sectional restriction 84 to the mixing chamber 78. Advantageously, the first conduit portion has a cross-sectional area that decreases towards the sectional restriction 84, and the second conduit portion has a cross-sectional area that increases towards the mixing chamber 78.

[0096] The hot water / steam inlet 64 opens into the first portion of the conduit and more particularly opposite the mixing chamber 78. The main flow conduit 66 is thus configured to fluidly connect the hot water / steam inlet 64 to the mixing chamber 78, and to allow hot water / steam to flow in the main flow conduit 66 and to the mixing chamber 78.

[0097] The main body 58 also includes a milk supply conduit 90 connected to the main flow conduit 66. When the mixing element 34 is attached to the tank, the milk supply conduit 90 extends between the main flow conduit 66 and the milk supply tube 35 so as to be fluidly connected to the internal volume of the tank 32.

[0098] The milk supply conduit 90 is fluidly connected to the main flow conduit 66, and therefore configured to be fluidly connected to the mixing chamber 78 via the main flow conduit 66.

[0099] The milk supply conduit 90 includes a substantially vertical portion which extends, preferably from the vicinity of the lower wall 71 and opens into the main flow conduit 66 at the level of the section restriction 84.

[0100] On [Fig.5], only the part of the milk supply conduit 90 which opens into the main flow conduit 66 is visible.

[0101] The main body 58 also includes an air intake channel 92 in the main flow duct 66.

[0102] Advantageously, the air intake channel 92 is provided in the upper face of the upper wall 72 of the main body 58.

[0103] The air intake channel 92 opens into the main flow duct 66 at the section restriction 84. The air intake channel 92 is thus configured to be fluidly connected to the mixing chamber 78 via the main flow duct 66.

[0104] The section restriction 84, described previously, induces an increase in the velocity of the vapor flowing in the main flow duct 66, which generates a depression in the milk supply duct 90 and in the air intake channel 92. The section restriction 84 is therefore more particularly configured to form a milk and air suction system based on the venturi effect. The main flow duct 66 is thus configured such that a flow of hot water / steam in the main flow duct 66 from the hot water / steam inlet port 64 to the mixing chamber 78 generates a vacuum in the milk supply duct 90 and a vacuum in the air intake channel 92 and consequently causes milk and air to be drawn into the main flow duct 66 and the milk and air drawn into the mixing chamber 78 to flow.

[0105] In addition, the second portion of the conduit, which has a passage section that increases towards the mixing chamber 78, promotes a first mixing of the steam, milk and air coming respectively from the hot water / steam inlet orifice 64, the milk supply conduit 90 and the air intake channel 92, before their arrival in the mixing chamber 78.

[0106] Furthermore, due to the positioning of the main flow duct 66 relative to the mixing chamber 78, the initial mixture of steam, milk, and air undergoes cyclonic motion upon entering the mixing chamber and swirls along the walls of chamber 78, further enhancing mixing and the production of milk foam with optimal consistency. Thus, the mixing chamber 78 homogenizes the aforementioned initial mixture and completes the mixing process that began in the second portion of the duct.

[0107] The main flow conduit 66, as well as the hot water / steam inlet 64, the air intake channel 92, and the mixing chamber 78, advantageously comprise an open upper end. In other words, they form liquid circulation channels that are open to the outside in their upper part.

[0108] The cover member 60 is intended to cover the upper face of the upper wall 72.

[0109] The cover element 60 is movable relative to the main body 58 between a closed position in which the cover element 60 closes and / or covers the mixing portion 62 and the main flow conduit 66 and a open position in which the mixing part 62 and the main flow conduit 66 are open and accessible to permit cleaning of the mixing part 62 and the main flow conduit 66.

[0110] Advantageously, the cover member 60 is designed to be integral with the main body 58 in the closed position and to be separate from the main body 58 in the open position.

[0111] The cover member 60 is suitable for being fixed to the main body 58 via a fixing mechanism for example of the bayonet type visible in [Fig.5].

[0112] In the closed position, the cover element 60 closes and / or covers, in particular, the open upper end of the hot water / steam inlet orifice 64, the main flow conduit 66 and the mixing chamber 78.

[0113] Advantageously, in the closed position, the cover element 60 also closes and / or covers at least partially the air intake channel 92 and in particular the open upper end of the air intake channel.

[0114] The cover element 60 ensures, on the one hand, when in the open position, accessibility to the hot water / steam inlet orifice 64, the main flow conduit 66, the mixing chamber 78 and advantageously the channel 92 for cleaning and, on the other hand, when in the closed position, sealing of the hot water / steam inlet orifice 64, the main flow conduit 66, the mixing chamber 78 and advantageously the channel 92.

[0115] Advantageously, the cover element 60 forms a substantially flat cover suitable for covering the upper face of the upper wall 72 and in particular the mixing part 62 and the main flow conduit 66.

[0116] The cover member 60 forms a cover of the main body 58 and is intended to be positioned above the opening 36 when the mixing element 34 is attached to the tank 32.

[0117] The cover member 60 also includes a viewing window 96, intended to be opposite the upper wall 72.

[0118] The viewing window 96 is intended in particular to be opposite the mixing part 62, in particular the mixing chamber 78, and advantageously also the main flow conduit 66 when the cover element 60 is in the closed position.

[0119] The viewing window 96 is intended to be opposite the open upper end 80 when the cover member 60 is in the closed position.

[0120] The viewing window 96 is, for example, formed by a portion of the cover element 60 made of a transparent material so that the user can view the inside of the mixing chamber 78 and advantageously the conduit main flow 66 when the cover element 60 is in the closed position.

[0121] The viewing window 96 allows the user to see whether the foaming device 30 has already been used and whether it needs to be cleaned before preparing a beverage. Furthermore, the user can verify the proper functioning of the foaming device 30 through the viewing window by visually checking whether the milk flows through the main outlet 66 and the mixing chamber 78 and moves cyclonically along the walls of the chamber 78.

[0122] The cover element 60 also includes an air supply duct, not visible in the figures, connected to the air intake channel 92 when the cover element 60 is in the closed position so as to be fluidly connected to the main flow duct 66.

[0123] The cover element 60 also includes an air flow control device 99 configured to regulate an air flow rate flowing in the air supply duct to the main flow duct 66.

[0124] The air supply duct is for example an orifice passing through the cover member 60 in the vertical direction when the cover member 60 is in the closed position.

[0125] The fixing system 70 of the mixing element 34 to the tank 32 is shown in more detail in Figures 6 and 7. Figures 6 and 7 show more precisely the lower wall 71 of the main body on the inner face of which the fixing system 70 is positioned.

[0126] The fastening system 70 includes a first locking member 102 intended to cooperate with the first fastening housing 42.

[0127] The fastening system 70 also includes two additional locking members 104, 106 adapted to cooperate respectively with the corresponding additional fastening housing 46, 48.

[0128] The first locking member 102 and the additional locking members 104, 106 form bolts adapted to cooperate with the corresponding fixing housings 42, 46, 48.

[0129] The first locking member 102 is movable between a locking position, visible in [Fig.6], in which the first locking member 102 is ready to be received in the first fixing housing 42 formed on the tank and an unlocking position, visible in [Fig.7], in which the first locking member 102 is ready to be extracted from the first fixing housing 42.

[0130] In the locked position, shown in [Fig. 6], the first locking member 102 extends in a radial direction with respect to the central axis X at projection of the main body 58 and in particular of the circumferential wall 73 of the main body.

[0131] In the unlocked position, shown in [Fig.7], the first locking member 102 extends in a radial direction relative to the central axis X substantially recessed or vertically below the main body 58 and in particular the circumferential wall 73 of the main body.

[0132] The first locking member 102 is for example arranged at an opening formed through the circumferential wall 73.

[0133] The locking position corresponds to a deployed position and the unlocking position to a retracted position.

[0134] The movement of the first locking member 102 from the locking position to the unlocking position is carried out along a direction of movement, substantially perpendicular to the central axis X, extending from the first locking member 102 to the additional locking members 104, 106 so as to reduce the distance between the first locking member 102 and each additional locking member 104, 106.

[0135] The first locking member 102 defines a bearing surface 102A on which a force is suitable to be exerted by a user to move the first locking member 102 from its locking position to its unlocking position.

[0136] The first locking member 102 is provided with an inclined edge forming a chamfer 107 adapted to cooperate with an upper edge of the opening 36 when mounting the mixing element 34 on the tank 32 to move the first locking member 102 towards the unlocked position. The mounting direction is substantially vertical.

[0137] Advantageously, the chamfer 107 extends, for example, around the periphery of the first locking member 102 and comprises an outer end closer to the central axis X than an inner end. The outer and inner ends are defined with respect to a center of the first locking member. The chamfer is then also suitable for cooperating with an upper edge of the first mounting housing 42 when the mixing element 34 is removed from the tank 32 to move the first locking member 102 to the unlocked position. The direction of removal is substantially vertical.

[0138] Thus the first chamfer 107 is suitable to cooperate with an internal face of the circumferential wall 40 during the assembly but also the disassembly of the mixing element 34 relative to the tank 32 so that the first locking member 102 is moved towards the unlocking position during the translation of the first locking member 102 along the circumferential wall 40 during the assembly and disassembly operations.

[0139] Alternatively, the chamfer 107 extends only on one lower side of the first locking member 102.

[0140] The fastening system 70 advantageously comprises a return member 108 associated with the first locking member 102. The return member 108 is configured to return the first locking member 102 to the locked position. The return member 108 is, for example, a spring.

[0141] During the assembly of the main body 58 on the tank 32, when the first locking member 102 is placed opposite the first fixing housing 42, it comes to rest in the first fixing housing 42 under the effect of the return force exerted by the return member 108.

[0142] Advantageously, each additional locking member 104, 106 is mechanically associated with the first locking member 102 so that the movement of the first locking member 102 between the locking and unlocking positions causes a corresponding movement of each additional locking member 104, 106 between a locking position in which the additional locking member 104, 106 is ready to be received in the respective additional fixing housing 46, 48, and an unlocking position in which the additional locking member 104, 106 is ready to be extracted from the respective additional fixing housing 46, 48.

[0143] The fastening system 70 includes, for example, for each additional locking member 104, 106, a movable arm 109, 110 that rotates relative to the first locking member 102 during its movement between the locking and unlocking positions.

[0144] In the locking position, each additional locking member 104, 106 extends in a radial direction relative to the central axis X projecting from the main body 58 and in particular from the circumferential wall 73 of the main body.

[0145] In the unlocked position, each additional locking member 104, 106 extends in a radial direction relative to the central axis substantially recessed or vertically above the main body 58 and in particular the circumferential wall 73 of the main body.

[0146] Each additional locking member 104, 106 is for example arranged at a corresponding opening formed through the circumferential wall 73.

[0147] The locking position corresponds to a deployed position and the unlocking position to a retracted position.

[0148] Each additional locking member 104, 106 is also provided with an inclined edge forming a chamfer 112, 113 adapted to cooperate with an upper edge of the opening 36 when mounting the mixing element 34 onto the tank 32 for move the corresponding additional locking member 104, 106 towards the unlocking position.

[0149] Advantageously, each chamfer 112, 113 extends only on one lower side of the corresponding additional locking member 104, 106. Each chamfer 112, 113 comprises an outer end closer to the central axis X than an inner end. The outer and inner ends are defined with respect to a center of the corresponding additional locking member 104, 106.

[0150] Each arm 109, 110 is designed, during its rotation, to drive in translation the corresponding additional locking member 104, 106 to move it between the locking position and the unlocking position.

[0151] Advantageously, the main body 58 includes for each additional locking member 104, 106 an additional relief 114, 115 suitable for forming a sliding connection with the additional locking member 104, 106.

[0152] During the movement of the first locking member 102 from the locking position to the unlocking position, each arm 109, 110 is suitable for moving the corresponding additional locking member 104, 106 in the direction of the first locking member 102.

[0153] During the movement of the first locking member 102 from the unlocking position to the locking position, under the effect in particular of the return member 108, each arm 109, 110 is suitable for moving the additional locking member 104, 106 corresponding to the opposite of the first locking member 102.

[0154] Each arm 109, 110 includes a first pivot link 116, 118 with the first locking member 102 and a second pivot link 120, 122 with the corresponding additional locking member 104, 106.

[0155] Advantageously each first pivot link 116, 118 is formed by an axial projection extending in the vertical direction from the first locking member 102 and a hole, preferably oblong, formed in the corresponding arm.

[0156] Advantageously each second pivot link 120, 122 is formed by an axial projection extending in the vertical direction from the corresponding additional locking member 104, 106 and a hole formed in the corresponding arm.

[0157] For each arm 109, 110, the first 116, 118 and the second 120, 122 pivot links are positioned at opposite ends of the corresponding arm 109, 110.

[0158] For each arm 109, 110, the first 116, 118 and the second 120, 122 pivot links define respectively a first and a second axis of rotation substantially parallel and extending in the substantially vertical direction.

[0159] Each arm 109, 110 includes an additional pivot joint 124, 126 with the main body 58 and in particular the lower wall 71. The additional pivot joint 124, 126 is positioned between the first 116, 118 and the second 120, 122 pivot links.

[0160] The additional pivot link 124, 126 ensures the attachment of the arm 109, 110 corresponding to the mixing element 34 and in particular to the main body 58.

[0161] Each additional pivot joint 124, 126 is for example formed by a pivot axis, not shown, extending from an upper part of the main body 58 and passing through a corresponding orifice formed through the arm 109, 110 and penetrating into a housing formed on an internal face of the lower wall 71.

[0162] Advantageously the main body 58 and in particular the lower wall 71 includes stops suitable for limiting the movement of the locking members 102, 104, 106 between the locking and unlocking positions and thus defining the locking and unlocking positions.

[0163] The operation of the foaming device 30 and in particular of the fixing system 70 for making a frothed milk-based drink will be explained below with the help of the figures.

[0164] In a first step the reservoir 32, the mixing element 34 and the milk supply tube 35 are supplied to a user.

[0165] In a subsequent step, the user connects the milk supply tube 35 to the main body 58 and then assembles the cover member 60 with the main body 58.

[0166] Next, during an assembly step, the user positions the mixing element 34 on the tank 32, installing the milk supply tube 35 into the internal volume. During the assembly step, the main body 58 is positioned at the opening 36 and moves downwards relative to the tank 32. The chamfers 107, 112, 113 then bear against an inner face of the circumferential wall 40 so that the locking members 102, 104, 106 are moved from the locked position to the unlocked position. Then at the end of the translational movement the locking members 102, 104, 106 are positioned opposite the corresponding fixing housings 42, 46, 48 and are then moved from the unlocking position to the locking position under the effect of the return member 108 so as to be positioned through the fixing housings 42, 46, 48.

[0167] Following the assembly step, the user is able to connect the frothing device to the coffee machine 10 and in particular the connection member 56 to the hot water / steam outlet nozzle 26 in order to make drinks based on frothed milk, the frothed milk being delivered via the frothed milk distribution member 52.

[0168] During the preparation of the beverage, the user can check the proper functioning of the foaming device 30 via the viewing window 96 and adjust the air flow deliver into the air intake channel 92 using the air flow control device 99.

[0169] Once the frothed milk-based drink has been made, the user disconnects the connection element 56 from the hot water / steam outlet nozzle 26.

[0170] Then, during a disassembly step, the user applies a force opposite to the return force to the bearing surface 102A of the first locking member 102, so as to move the locking members 102, 104, 106 from the locked position to the unlocked position. During the disassembly step, the locking members 102, 104, 106 are then extracted from the mounting housings 42, 46, 48. The user then performs an upward translational movement of the mixing element, and the locking members are then held in the unlocked position because they are in contact with the inner face of the circumferential wall 40.

[0171] At the end of the disassembly step, the mixing element 34 is separated from the tank 32 and this was made possible via a simple press on the first locking member 102 and a translational movement.

[0172] Then the user separates the cover element 60 from the main body 58 and is able to place the different elements in the dishwasher for a cleaning operation.

[0173] Thanks to the invention, the ergonomics and handling of the milk foaming device 30 are simplified. In addition, cleaning is facilitated and the robustness of the fastening of the component elements of the foaming device 30 is improved.

[0174] Alternatively, the fastening system includes a single additional locking member or more than two additional locking members.

[0175] Of course, the present invention is in no way limited to the embodiment described and illustrated, which has been given only by way of example. Modifications remain possible, particularly with regard to the composition of the various elements or by substitution of technical equivalents, without departing from the scope of protection of the invention.
