Abstract

Decorative Covers for Walking Aids and Medical Immobilization Devices. The invention relates to a decorative cover device for walking aids and immobilization devices designed to break up the visual appearance of the medical device (Figure 3). Some walking aids, such as crutches, have colored handles, elbow supports, and tubes, but their appearance remains unchanged. The invention aims to break up this visual monotony with various decorative covers, composed of one or more parts, without altering their function. These covers can be put on and taken off quickly, leaving all hand grips accessible. These covers can be adorned with various accessories. Potential industrial applications include textiles and sewing. The device according to the invention is intended for walking aids and medical immobilization devices.Figure for the summary: FIG. 3.

Title of the invention: Sets of decorative cover pieces for walking aids and medical immobilization devices.

[0001] The present invention relates to a decorative covering device for walking aids and immobilization devices in order to break up the visual appearance of the device (metal side, foam) and the medical side of the device.

[0002] Walking aids, such as crutches, are available in various colors (handles, elbow pads, and shafts), and for comfort, protection is limited to the elbow pads and handles, and side plates are available for wheelchairs. This does not change the shape or visual appearance of the crutch.

The cover (5) is a single piece for this model (but may be in several parts), with a zipper on the back of the kickstand. A (round) opening is made at the front of the cover for the handle (2) to pass through. The cover covers all parts 1 and 3 and covers 3 / 4 of part 4. 1. Device for covering walking aids and immobilization devices comprising a handle, characterized in that it comprises one or more covers (5, 5.1, 5.2), leaving the handle (2) bare, in order to break the view of the medical device without hindering the grip.

2. Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the cover constitutes one or more parts of the garment, closed by a zipper or other fasteners (elastic, hook and loop, tie, buttonhole).

3. Device according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterized in that the cover is made of different textile materials, or any other materials that can be used in the manufacture of clothing.

4. Device according to claim 1 or claim 2 or claim 3 characterized in that the covers are of different sizes and shapes adapted according to the models and medical equipment used.

5. Device according to any one of the preceding claims characterized in that it comprises various decorative accessories, for example garlands or other, integrated into the covers intended for dressing up walking and immobilization aid devices.

6. Device according to any one of the preceding claims intended for dressing and accessorizing walking aids and immobilization devices, characterized by decorative covers of different shapes depending on the walking aid or immobilization device and a closure system, such as zippers, fasteners, elastics, hook and loop, ties, buttonholes allowing for easier putting on and taking off.
