Folding seat stick via toothed gear engagement, comprising: - a pivot bearing (10) on which three rectangular channels (11) are arranged radially distributed, wherein the enclosed angle between each two rectangular channels (11) is the same, wherein a barrier wall (111) is arranged on the outer circumference of the rectangular channel (11) which has an upper inclined edge (112) in the upper area and a lower inclined edge (113) in the lower area; - three lower support legs (20), each having at its upper end a flat round head which is pivotably connected to the lower part of the corresponding rectangular channel (11); - a first upper support arm (30), a second upper support arm (30A) and a third upper support arm (300), each having a lower flat round head at its lower end which is pivotably connected to the upper part of the corresponding rectangular channel (11), wherein the first and the second upper support arms (30, 30A) are each connected at their upper part to a support tube (32) on the upper part of which a cardan joint (321) is arranged, while the third upper support arm (300) is connected at its upper part to a main support tube (33) whose upper part is connected to an arm support (34), wherein a sliding bearing (40) is arranged on the main support tube (33) which is provided with a sliding tube (41) and a curved round part (42), wherein the sliding tube (41) is provided for guiding the main support tube (33) and the third upper support arm (300) into the sliding tube (41),wherein a locking button (43) is arranged on the outside of the sliding bearing (40), wherein by actuating the locking button (43) the sliding bearing (41) is raised or lowered along the main support tube (33) and then fixed to the main support tube (33); and , - a seat surface (50) consisting of a main surface (51) and two side surfaces (52) pivotably connected to one another, wherein the curved round part (42) of the sliding bearing (40) is pivotably connected to the lower part of the main surface (51), wherein the cardan joints (321) of the support tubes (32) are pivotably connected to the lower sides of the side surfaces (52), characterized in that an upper gear unit (21) is arranged around the upper flat round head of the respective lower support leg (20) and a lower gear unit (31) is arranged around the lower flat round head of the first, second and third upper support arms (30, 30A, 300), wherein the upper gear units (21) of the lower support legs (20) and the lower gear units (31) of the first, second and third upper support arms (30, 30A, 300) mesh accordingly with one another intervenewherein the inner surfaces of the main surface (51) are synchronously raised or lowered by raising or lowering the sliding bearing (40), thereby moving the two side surfaces (52) so that they are folded down laterally or unfolded upwards, which in turn causes the first, second and third upper support arms (30, 30A, 300) to move and thus be folded or unfolded, wherein the lower gear units (31) drive the upper gear units (21) so that the lower three support legs (20) are folded or unfolded relative to each other.
