Artificial-intelligence exercise assisting device

The invention relates to an artificial-intelligence exercise assisting device. The artificial-intelligence exercise assisting device is mainly used for lower-limb walking assisting and lower-limb rehabilitation training. According to the technical scheme, the artificial-intelligence exercise assisting device comprises a structure supporting system, sensors, sensor circuits, a signal processing system (a mobile calculation platform), a driving executing device, a power system and a walking stick. The artificial-intelligence exercise assisting device has the advantages that the dilemma that movement of the lower limbs of a paralysis patient, a hemiplegic paralysis patient, a fracture patient and an old bone joint retrogressive disease patient is inconvenient is overcome. A user wears an exoskeleton wearing assisting device, human body signals and the assisting device interact with each other and are matched, the human body transmits a control command to the exoskeleton wearing assisting device, exoskeleton detects the human body signals, a proper command is obtained after artificial intelligence calculation, then driving mechanisms provide energy required by movement for the lower limbs of the human body, and the finally the effect that artificial intelligent and mechanical force are supplemented and interacted is achieved. According to the artificial-intelligence exercise assisting device, the human body control signals and the artificial intelligence of a machine are fused, the balance of the gravity center of the human body is controlled, and mild control over the exoskeleton assisting device is obtained.

Sit down and stand up walker with seat assembly

ActiveUS8151812B2Loss of balanceEfficiently enableWalking sticksOperating chairsHand heldFull weight bearing
A sit down and stand up walker for assisting a user during walking and when not walking in a standing, partially standing or sitting positions with partial or full weight bearing support and with means to change from standing, partially standing to sitting positions with partial weight bearing support to a fixed elevation with full weight bearing support in any varied or repeated sequence. The partial or full weight bearing means supports a seat assembly which includes a seat and front body support with adjustable positioning to provide pelvic stability. The angle of the seat assembly relative to a flat ground surface is maintained at any elevation of the seat assembly between a standing and sitting position. The weight bearing means is responsive to the variable force supplied by the user as the user walks, stands or sits allowing the seat assembly to move up or down. The weight bearing means in a preferred embodiment is an enclosed gas spring cylinder with piston rod that can be locked at differing elevations or released to respond to a user's body force as the user walks, stands or sits. The walker is intended to be moved without the user's hands holding onto the frame thereby promoting a normal gait and posture. The walker enables the user to expend less energy as the body's center of gravity with partial or full weight bearing support rises and falls with each stride. The walker facilitates transfers from a sitting to standing positions and vice versa by the user independently without the intervention of caregivers.

Crutch

InactiveUS20100206348A1Shortens overall length and heightReduce travel requirementsCrutchesLower poleEngineering
The crutch includes a lower pole with a handgrip near the upper end thereof, and may include a forearm cuff above the handgrip in the case of a forearm type crutch. The distance between cuff and handgrip is adjustable, as is the lower pole length. A resilient limb or bow is rigidly affixed to the lower end of the pole, with its upper attachment end being rearwardly offset from the pole. This results in a forward torque or moment when the user applies a downward force upon the crutch during use, thereby assisting the user in forward travel. The lower or distal end of the limb also absorbs shock for the crutch user when the limb contacts the underlying surface. The springback of the limb returns a considerable portion of the energy imparted by the user as weight was applied to the crutch, thereby facilitating user mobility.
