Abstract

The present invention relates to a hair styling device designed to reproduce the manual scrunching motion. The cone-shaped device gently draws selected strands of hair into the cone upon activation. Once inserted into the device, pressing the "S" button activates the ascending and descending plate, followed by pressing the "L" and "R" buttons, which activate the heated rotating plate with its interchangeable attachments and holders. The hair strands are thus scrunched and defined according to the chosen attachment. This action and movement can be repeated on the entire head of hair. See Fig. 1 for abbreviations.

Description

Title of the invention: Device for defining the shape of natural hair curls

[0001] The invention relates to a hair device that replicates the natural hand movement known as scrunching, designed to gently dry hair while preserving and defining the shape of natural curls. The device is not a curling iron but rather a device for scrunching natural curls while drying the hair.

[0002] It is known that hot air diffusers consist of raising hot air distributed in a nozzle adaptable or not to a hair dryer and that curling or perming devices are used to tame strands using heated metal.

[0003] The invention relates to a hair device that replicates the natural hand movement known as scrunching. The device works by drawing the ends of the hair into the device and then drawing them up to the roots in an accordion-like motion between interchangeable attachments, thus scrunching natural curls while gently and evenly drying the hair.

[0004] According to a preferred embodiment, the device is conical in shape to facilitate handling and the placement of hair strands, as well as positioning the device at the roots of the scalp. Its length and width vary depending on the model chosen, whether classic or travel-sized, between 16 and 25 cm for the length and 8.5 cm and 13 cm for its width.

[0005] According to a preferred embodiment, the ON / OFF button and its indicator light for turning the device on and off are located on the front side of the device. One press turns the device on; the indicator light is then green. Two presses turn the device off; the indicator light is then red until the device is completely switched off.

[0006] According to a preferred embodiment, at the level of the grip of the device on the front side, above the power button, is placed the knob-type control which allows the temperature to be controlled either with a digital display or with a printed display in order to set the chosen temperature.

[0007] According to a preferred embodiment, the L and R motion selector located on the front side of the device allows selection of the movement of the heated rotating plate and its tips, whether it is on the left or right. The rotating plate, at 50%, is then activated on either the left or right side, according to the user's preference.

[0008] According to a preferred embodiment, the push button S is located on the front side of the device, enabling the Scrunch movement, thus activating the honeycomb-shaped ascending and descending plate composed in its center of the rotating heating plate with its attachment holder and attachments.

[0009] According to a preferred embodiment, the push button for changing the attachments is located on the side of the device, depending on the desired result. Pressing the button detaches the attachments from their holder so they can be changed.

[0010] According to a preferred embodiment, the honeycomb-shaped ascending and descending plate supports the rotating plate composed of its attachments at its center, thus reproducing the scrunching motion. Once activated by the S button, the ascending and descending plate rises so that the attachments can reach the roots of the scalp. Once its ascent is complete, the plate automatically descends.

[0011] According to a preferred embodiment, the 50% rotating plate is provided in its center with heated and heated tip holders. These allow each of the tips to be attached to them.

[0012] According to a preferred embodiment, the different shaped and interchangeable tips are heated by their fixatives, thus allowing better hold of the curl shape according to the desire of the person who can adapt the tip to their hair and the desired result.

[0013] According to a preferred embodiment, the 2 to 3 meter long rotating power cord and its USB connector are located at the rear of the device, following the Scrunch Hair model.

[0014] In the drawings that illustrate the invention.

[0015] [Fig-1] is a front view of the device.

[0016] [Fig.2] is a rear view of the same device.

[0017] [Fig.3] is a view of the interchangeable tips to be placed in the device.

[0018] According to [Fig.1] the conical-shaped device has a size that varies according to the model chosen.

[0019] According to [Fig.1], device 1 represents the on / off push button of said device.

[0020] According to [Fig. 1], device 2 represents the button-type dimmer with display digital or printed.

[0021] According to [Fig. 1], device 3 represents the snap button S

[0022] According to [Fig.1], device 4 represents the L and R motion variator.

[0023] According to [Fig. 1], device 5 represents the pressure button enabling the changing the tips.

[0024] According to [Fig.1], device 6 represents the ascending and descending plate of the apparatus.

[0025] According to [Fig.1], device 7 represents the honeycomb heated turntable.

[0026] According to [Fig.1], device 8 represents the fixing support for the heating tips.

[0027] According to [Fig.2], device 9 represents the USB port connector.

[0028] According to [Fig.2], device 10 represents the rotating power cord 2 at 3 meters.

[0029] According to [Fig.1] and 3, the devices 11 represent the different interchangeable tips.
