DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING TELEVISION SERVICES

Abstract

The invention relates to a multimedia stream control device for televisions, comprising: - an injector (1), comprising: * multimedia sources (S1, S2, S3), * means for generating a multimedia stream (F) from the sources (S1, S2, S3), - at least one television (10), connected to the multimedia stream injector (1) (F), wherein: - each television (10) contains an identifier (Id1, Id2), - the multimedia stream injector (1) contains a table (Tab), containing a list of multimedia content accessible to each of the televisions (10) and execution methods for applications of the multimedia stream (F), the injector (1) transmitting to each of the televisions (10) the table (Tab) containing the lists of multimedia content accessible to each of the televisions (10) and the multimedia stream (F), and the televisions (10) being configured to display or execute the accessible content and applications from the list according to their identifier (Id1, Id2).Figure from the summary: [Fig. 1].

Claims

— display or execution by televisions (10) only of the accessible content from the list associated with their identifier (Idl, Id2).

11. Method according to the preceding claim, characterized in that the identifier (Idl, Id2) of the television (10) is, during the initialization phase, generated pseudo-randomly and stored on an electronic memory of the television (10).

A method according to claim 10 or 11, wherein the multimedia stream injector comprises a connection to a computer network (net) comprising a server (3) having access to the computer memory of the multimedia stream injector (1) (F) containing the list of multimedia content (M) accessible from at least one of the televisions (10), and means for modifying the list of multimedia content accessible to said television (10), characterized in that it further comprises the steps: - generating multimedia content comprising the computer address (5) in the network (net) of the server (3), - displaying on the television (10) the multimedia content comprising the computer address (5) of the server (3) to allow the user to modify the list of content accessible to the television (10) by means of a user terminal (7) connected to the server (3) via the computer address (5) displayed in the multimedia content,- transmission by the multimedia stream injector (1) (F) of the modified list of accessible multimedia content to the televisions (10).

Product computer program comprising instructions the execution of which by a computer part of or connected to the device (100) according to any one of claims 1 to 9 causes said device (100) to perform the steps of the process according to any one of claims 10 to 12.
