Abstract
The present invention relates to a diagnostic method (20) for an energy storage system to detect an assembly error in one electrochemical module among a plurality of interconnected modules within said system, comprising the following successive steps of measuring (E3) at least one open-circuit voltage value for each electrochemical module of said system at a reference state of charge, comparing (E4) data from the measurement, for each electrochemical module of said system, with at least the reference value of an open-circuit voltage curve corresponding to said reference state of charge, and detecting (E5) an assembly error for each electrochemical module as a function of a deviation between said respective data and the reference value.
