Description

Title of the invention: Full rim protector

[0001] The present invention relates to a device that attaches to the rims of a vehicle to allow for its complete protection.

[0002] Vehicle rims are very easily and quickly damaged even when the greatest care is taken, resulting in a loss of aesthetics, a devaluation of the vehicle's price or significant repair costs.

[0003] Currently, rim protectors exist that only protect the peripheral edge of the rim and require cumbersome installation. The device according to the invention overcomes these drawbacks.

[0004] The present invention relates to the development of a protection capable of covering the entire rim, thus guaranteeing long-term, complete protection of the rim against possible degradation.

[0005] The protector will be developed for each of the existing rim models on the market. It will adapt perfectly to the rim's contours. It will be attached to the rim by a clip system (2) that fastens at the rear, as well as double-sided adhesive (1) to reinforce the attachment. The device can still be easily removed at any time. These installations will require no special tools or intervention by an installer, just a simple cleaning process accessible to anyone before installation.

[0006] The attached drawings illustrate the invention:

[0007] Fig. 1 represents an example of a rim (Fig. 1).

[0008] Fig. 2 represents a previous view of an example of a protector (Fig. 2) identically reproducing the shape to be protected of the rim.

[0009] Fig. 3 represents a rear view of the protector where a white area can be distinguished representing the area covered with adhesive (1) as well as the clip system (2) to ensure the attachment of the device to the rim.

[0010] Figure 4 shows a rear section of part of the device. A portion of the rim to be protected (3) is visible, as well as a portion of the device (4) which perfectly conforms to the shape of the rim and is fixed with the fastening system at the rear of the rim.

[0011] The device according to the invention is particularly intended for the protection of vehicle rims.
