Abstract

The invention relates to a process for treating a particulate semi-crystalline polyamide comprising a step of contacting an initial polyamide with water and at least one acid to obtain a mixture; at least one step of heating the mixture to a temperature between Tc - 20°C and Tc + 20°C, Tc representing the crystallization temperature of the initial polyamide; at least one step of separating the mixture by a solid-liquid separation means, to obtain a solid fraction with a moisture content of less than 25% by weight, and a step of drying the solid fraction, leading to the recovery of dried treated particulate semi-crystalline polyamide.
