Abstract
TITLE OF THE INVENTION: CANNULA FOR INSPECTION OF A PIPE WALL The cannula (13) for inspecting a cylindrical wall (30) having a central axis (26), near an orifice (24), is configured to position a radioactive source (23). It comprises: - an arched stem (25) supporting said radioactive source and - a retaining stem (20) joining the arched stem towards the middle of the arched stem. In some embodiments, the arched stem comprises a cylindrical portion and a toroidal portion, the connection (22) of the retaining stem and the arched stem being located on this toroidal portion. The kit (10) includes the cannula (13) and a support (14) configured to attach to the orifice, this support having a through opening (19) for the passage of the curved stem (25) of the cannula and a through opening (28) for the passage of the retaining stem (20).In some embodiments, the through opening (28) for the passage of the retaining rod (20) is provided with a tube (29) in which the retaining rod slides and a means (21) for locking the sliding of the retaining rod in this tube.
