Plant support device

Abstract

A plant support device comprises a body 12 e.g., with a cylindrical bore 18, having a first and second ends, mounting means to support the device on, or to, a support structure and a hanger structure 20 comprising at least one supporting element for suspending or securing one or more flexible supports e.g., string or twine. The plant support device provides support to a plant by securing one or more flexible supports between the hanger structure and the plant. The mounting means bore may be open or blind for mounting atop or around a cane or may be a hanger 28 with an aperture 30 for suspension. Alternatively, the device may be an ‘L shaped arrangement of semi-circular panels (Fig. 2), one mountable to a wall, the other to support the twine. Alternatively (Fig. 3), the device may be an elongate unitary body affixable to a wall with unitary or removable tabs protruding therefrom for supporting rods out of plane with the body. Alternatively, the device may be a tower-like structure of endcaps (Fig. 4) linked by longitudinal rods with a mounting plate intermediate the endcaps.
