Device for removing dried leaves from laurel branches

Abstract

A device comprises a case 1, a means for receiving and conveying cut laurel branches, made in the form of plurality of rollers 2 arranged in one plane, a conveyor 3 for transporting the removed laurel leaves, and drive-equipped unit 5 for removing dried leaves from the branches. The unit for removing dried leaves from the branches is executed as hollow drum 7, having the shape of regular polygon, in particular a hexagon, mounted rotatable around horizontal axis 8. The rods 15 are inserted into the faces of drum by means of hinges 14, oscillatory and circularly movable together with the drum. Inside the drum, along the axis of rotation, a slider 17 is mounted reciprocally movable, the slider is provided with drive means 16 and there are located the ends of said rods for transmitting oscillatory movement thereto.
