Abstract

The present invention provides a system and method for allocating a mobile subscriber, specifically for the recovery of transmission time or mobile data advances, in a manner where (302) loan status inquiry requests are received. The loan status inquiry request is generated and sent in response to a subscriber requesting to purchase a package from a mobile package vendor for a certain amount of money. The request includes a subscriber identifier and a specific usage amount for a particular category of mobile network employment associated with the mobile package. (303) The loan status associated with the subscriber ID is queryed to verify if a prominent loan, including a loan amount, is linked to the subscriber ID. If one or more predefined conditions are met, at least (308) if the loan status indicates a prominent loan, (316) the mobile package value is determined based on usage and used (310) to at least partially recover the prominent loan.
