Abstract
The article is a blank made of a flexible material such as cardboard, which, through processing such as folding, bending, pressing, and gluing, becomes the outer shell of a bottle-shaped packaging container with a bottom, body, shoulders, and neck. An inner liner, such as a bag-like pouch, is suspended within the outer shell of the packaging container, and is attached to a cap separately provided on the neck. The packaging container is used by filling and storing contents such as liquids within this inner liner. The part of the packaging container blank for which design registration is sought is the part related to the mechanism connecting the bottom of the outer shell to the body. In the packaging container blank, the "bottom plate" shown in the "Reference drawing showing the names of each part" constitutes the bottom of the packaging container, and "side wall plate 1" and "side wall plate 2" constitute the body. The "side wall panel 1" and the "side wall panel 2" are folded upright against the inner surface of the "bottom panel" at their "connecting portions," and the respective plate surfaces of "side wall panel 1" and "side wall panel 2" are bent into an arc in the circumferential direction of the body, and the side edges of "side wall panel 1" and "side wall panel 2" are glued together in an overlapping state to form a cylindrical body that corresponds to the outer peripheral shape of the bottom panel (see the "reference diagram showing the cross section of the part connected by the connecting portions"). At this time, the six "adhesive members" attached to the bottom edges of "side wall panel 1" and "side wall panel 2" are bent at approximately right angles toward the "bottom panel" at the folding positions indicated by the two-dot chain lines in the "reference diagram showing the folding positions in the enlarged view of part A-A'" and glued to the "bottom panel" (see the "reference diagram showing the cross section of the part connected by the adhesive members"). The "shoulders" of "side wall plate 1" and "side wall plate 2" are formed into a shape that connects to the body of the bottle by press processing or the like, and the "neck" is also formed into a shape that connects to the shoulder of the bottle, thereby forming the outer shell of the packaging container.
