Abstract

The rear stand attachment, which is the article relating to the present design application, is a component used by attaching it to a rear stand that holds the rear wheel of a motorcycle off the mounting surface. As an example, as shown in "Reference Figure 1 showing the state of use," the rear stand attachment is used by inserting the "frame part" of the rear stand attachment into the "rear stand body," which is made by bending a pipe material into a U shape in plan view, with the frame parts that are raised at both ends and "support attachment receiving parts" that are provided at the raised ends so that they face each other. When used with a motorcycle, the "clamping plate" of the rear stand attachment clamps the support projection (the red component in "Reference Figure 2 showing the state of use") provided on the motorcycle's body, and pushes up and holds the vehicle while remaining connected to it. For this reason, as shown in "Reference Figure showing the state when the lift hold is released," even when the rear stand's holding state is released, the structure is such that the support projection on the vehicle body and the rear stand remain connected.
