Abstract

The article according to the design of the present application (hereinafter referred to as the "article") is a small item case for storing small items such as sticky notes and memos. The article has a substantially square cylindrical main body with upper and lower openings that open upward and downward, respectively, and upper and lower lids with bottoms that open and close the upper and lower openings of the main body, and the main body and both lids are integrally connected via hinges. The article is closed around the hinges with the upper and lower openings of the main body and the openings of both lids facing each other, and the opening edges of both lids are abutted individually from the outside against the upper and lower opening edges of the main body. The article has a partition wall that divides the main body into upper and lower parts at approximately the center in the vertical direction, and the two storage sections divided by the partition wall into upper and lower parts are opened and closed by the upper and lower lids, respectively, and can be used upside down. In this article, the front and back sides of the main body are slightly recessed in the center to provide vertically extending recesses, and both lids are provided with locking devices having elongated fitting holes that fit into elongated protrusions extending in the left-right direction on the opening edge sides of the recesses that do not have hinges, and the lids are held in a closed state by rotating around each hinge to fit the fitting holes of the locking devices into the protrusions of the main body. Also, the hinges of this article are provided on the upper and lower opening edges where diagonal lines extending approximately parallel to each other on both the left and right sides intersect on both the left and right sides of the front and back recesses of the main body, so that when the lids are closed, the locking positions of the locking devices of both lids can be quickly recognized based on the hinge positions that intersect the diagonal lines even from both the left and right sides, allowing the lids to be quickly opened.
