Abstract

This device reads radiographic images stored on dental imaging plates and converts them into digital image data. To use it, the imaging plate is placed in the patient's oral cavity for radiographic imaging. After imaging, the imaging plate is removed from the patient's mouth and inserted into this device for reading the radiographic images.
