Abstract

This garment incorporates elements of both Western and Japanese clothing, allowing the collar to be worn open like Western clothing, while also allowing the back of the collar to be pulled down like Japanese clothing, leaving the collar open. Closing the collar also creates the appearance of a half-collar when layering kimonos. As shown in Reference Figures 1 and 2, buttonholes 1 and 4 are provided at the tips of the left and right collars, respectively. Button 2 is provided near the right chest area when viewed from the front of the garment, and button 3 is provided near the left chest area when viewed from the front. To open the collars, as shown in Reference Figure 1, button 2 is threaded through buttonhole 1 to secure the opening of the right collar in the direction of arrow A. As shown in Reference Figure 2, button 3 is threaded through buttonhole 4 to secure the opening of the left collar in the direction of arrow B. To close the collars, as shown in Reference Figure 3, the left collar is tucked inside the right collar, and then the right collar is closed.
