Abstract

The image diagram is primarily a guide image for the user while driving, and is displayed on a display device with communication capabilities. The image acts as a companion, and images with different facial expressions are displayed according to the emotional expression as shown in "Reference Diagrams 1-6 Showing Usage Status" depending on the type of information acquired by the display device (see "Reference Diagrams Showing Status Displayed on a Display Device"). For example, if the information is about traffic congestion on the route being guided, an image with a sad facial expression is displayed on the display device as shown in "Reference Diagram 1 Showing Usage Status." This allows the user to intuitively understand the type of information acquired by the display device.
