Cold weather gear for bicycle child seats and strollers

Abstract

This item is a cold weather gear to be attached to a stroller or a child bicycle seat. The cold weather gear is made by sewing together the sides of two layers of cold-weather fabric, and the bottom seam covering the child's feet has a partial unsewn area, as shown in Reference Figure 1, which illustrates the design configuration. The inside of the cold weather gear from the unsewn area to the top forms a pocket, and when the cold weather gear is pushed from the outside to the inside from the unsewn area toward the top, it is pushed into the pocket and takes on a pouch shape. Reference Figures 1 to 5, which illustrate usage modes, show the cold weather gear in its pouch shape. As shown in Reference Figure 2, which illustrates the design configuration, and Reference Figure 5, which illustrates usage modes, there is a fastener near the bottom of the cold weather gear to secure the opening between the unsewn areas when used as cold weather gear and when in pouch shape. In addition, near both edges of the inside of the unsewn area at the bottom of the cold weather gear, behind the fasteners, a strip of cloth is sewn, as shown in Reference Figure 5, which illustrates usage modes. When the cold weather gear is made into a pouch shape, as shown in Reference Figure 1 for use, this strip of cloth faces outward to form a handle. A stretchable rubber band is sewn into the upper part of the cold weather gear, where it would fit around the infant's neck, to ensure a secure fit around the infant's neck, as shown in Reference Figure 2 for the design. A belt is sewn into the upper part of the cold weather gear to fasten the gear to the infant while it is covering the infant, as shown in Reference Figure 2 for the design. When the cold weather gear is used with a child bicycle seat, as shown in Reference Figures 6 and 7 for use, the cold weather gear is worn so as to encircle the infant's neck and the child bicycle seat in front of the infant. The upper belt, which is turned the other way around the cold weather gear, is fastened on the other side of the cold weather gear. The cold weather gear according to this design also includes an attached attachment, as shown in Reference Figure 2 for the design. When using the cold weather gear with a stroller, it is placed over the infant and the front of the stroller as shown in Figs. 8 and 9. In this manner, one top of the cold weather gear is secured to the stroller with the upper belt, and the other top of the cold weather gear is secured with the attached attachment. As described above, both ends of the cold weather gear are secured to the stroller. When the cold weather gear is in the shape of a pouch, the attached attachment is passed through both handles of the pouch, and then passed through the upper handle, bar, or handle of the stroller or child bicycle seat to form a ring, and the attached attachment is secured.In this usage, as shown in Reference Figures 10 and 11, the pouch-shaped cold weather gear is attached to a child bicycle seat or a stroller, freeing both hands of the user of the cold weather gear.
