Abstract

This product is a neck warming / cooling device worn around the neck to warm or cool. It is made into a roughly ring-shaped form by engaging a ring-shaped shape-retaining band with one open end with a warming / cooling section made of a band-like connection of bags containing a phase-change material that solidifies at a predetermined temperature (e.g., 28°C) or below. The shape-retaining band engages with the warming / cooling section by inserting it into a band-looping hole formed in the warming / cooling section. The shape-retaining band is made of a transparent or translucent material that has rigidity and elasticity, such as acrylic resin, and the warming / cooling section is made of a flexible and elastic material, such as a polyurethane-based thermoplastic elastomer.
