Abstract

The article relating to the present design (hereinafter referred to as "the Article") is a portable cutlery case that allows for the carrying of two pieces of cutlery, such as chopsticks and a spoon. As shown in the reference figures illustrating the state of use, the Article comprises a main body for housing chopsticks and a spoon, and a lid that seals tightly to the main body. Both the main body and the lid of the Article are formed in a substantially U-shape in cross-section and are connected so as to be openable and closable by a pair of hinges provided on one long side of the surrounding walls of each other. When the lid is closed, the inner surface of the surrounding wall of the lid fits tightly to the outer surface of the surrounding wall of the main body. A projection is provided on the other long side of the surrounding wall of the lid of the Article, and this projection functions as a handle when the lid is opened. Furthermore, since the lid of the Article is transparent or semi-transparent, the presence or absence of chopsticks and a spoon can be confirmed even when the lid is closed.
