Cell culture container

Abstract

This article is a container for culturing cells. As shown in the reference perspective view illustrating the names of its parts, this article has a structure in which multiple wells and openings are provided on a plate. In this article, one unit consists of four first wells arranged in a matrix, and second wells and openings positioned between the four first wells. As shown in the front view, the four first wells, second wells, and openings of one unit are connected by channels formed within the plate. This article is provided with, for example, four such units. In each unit, this article allows liquids containing culture medium or cells to flow in and out of the channels formed in the plate through the first wells, second wells, and openings. This article can also be used as part of a cell culture container with a two-dimensional arrangement of unit structures by arranging multiple articles in a case. For example, by arranging six articles in parallel, a cell culture container with 4 × 6 units can be constructed.
