Fall prevention wire with safety latch

Abstract

This product is used to prevent structures from falling by attaching the annular end of a wire to the structure. The annular end is equipped with a joint consisting of a male screw and a nut, and the ring can be opened and closed by attaching and detaching the male screw and nut. The joint is fitted with a retaining clip, which, as shown in Reference Figure 1 illustrating the state of use, is placed over the male screw and nut by sandwiching them from both sides when the joint is connected. The joint does not normally loosen on its own, but by attaching the retaining clip, complete protection against loosening is ensured. Furthermore, since the retaining clip can only be attached when the joint is connected, it is possible to visually check whether the joint has come off by checking the state of the retaining clip. To release the joint, as shown in Reference Figure 2 illustrating the state of use, one end of the retaining clip, which is hooked next to the nut, is removed, and with the clamping released, the male screw and nut are loosened.
