Abstract

This product is a bra designed for women who have undergone a unilateral mastectomy. The non-mastectomy side (shown on the right) has a cup with a normal shape that conforms to the wearer's breast size, while the mastectomy side (shown on the left) has a flat, gently curved cup. This allows it to naturally conform to a flat breast and also expresses the beauty of asymmetrical breasts. The mastectomy side has a pocket sewn onto the front of the cup (the side furthest from the wearer's body). As shown in the reference front view diagram illustrating the pocket on the mastectomy side cup, a piece of fabric that serves as a pocket for inserting a pad is sewn onto the surface of the cup, with the opening indicated by the dashed line, and a piece of fabric that serves as a cover is sewn over the opening. The pad can be easily inserted or removed from the pocket as needed, depending on the situation and mood. This can be easily done by the wearer themselves, even while wearing the bra. The fabric that makes up the pocket and the fabric that covers the cup with the pocket have sufficient elasticity, and furthermore, the fabric that covers the cup with the pocket has pleats in two places, so that a natural appearance and fit can be maintained whether or not a pad is used. To make the use of the pocket easier, the cup on the extraction side is constructed so that there is space in the center.
