Abstract

The defining feature of this design lies in its graphical user interface. This graphical user interface is an image that displays various states related to electrosurgical procedures. Specifically, this graphical user interface displays the relationship between a particular surgeon, patient, and electrodes, the status of the foot switch, and the energy mode setting of a bipolar scalpel. The design is rendered in grayscale. Protection is not sought for any specific color in this design. The outer dashed line represents the display screen or a portion thereof and does not constitute part of the design for which registration is sought. The shaded area inside the dashed line consisting of longer dots indicates a part of the graphical user interface that does not constitute part of the design for which registration is sought. Other dashed lines consisting of shorter dots represent parts of the graphical user interface that constitute part of the design for which registration is sought. Figure 1.1 shows a front view of the graphical user interface for the display screen or a portion thereof.
